I can't wait until it comes out! I reckon it looks wonderful, despite the fact it 'stole' my ideas of chracters: For my stories 'Down On Poppy's Farm', I made a Model T Ford called Lizzie and a Mack truck called Mack. I am planning to publish them, but unfortunately didn't get the copyrights in time, and now they've made characters just like that. Now I'll have to change them, unless I want to go to court.

Yeah, the movie looks great! Not only that, but I read on IMDB.com that George Carlin would be providing the voice of one of the characters. I also understand it will feature the voice talents of Owen Wilson, Bonnie Hunt, Larry The Cable Guy, and many others!

Cheech Marin plays a Low-Rider called Ramone in the movie.
George Carlin plays the army jeep.

I can see why they wanted George Carlin as the hippie character, he does have that countercultural reputation. I'm looking forward to it, Pixar have an excellent track record.

Yeh, This movie will be great, I have seen clips and so far, my favourite car is Fillmore The Hippy Van, Voiced by George Carlin, once again, John Ratzenburger appears in the movie as Mac The Gigantic Red Lorry, he has appeared in every Disney PIXAR Film believe it or not.

And, not to mention, Cheers and Star Wars. His Star Wars Character's Card from the Star Wars CCG - "In Mos Eisely Cantina, everybody knows his name.", a clear reference to his role in Cheers. Anyway, I probably won't be going to see it... I'll probably catch it sometime when it comes out on DVD, however.

I'm not going to see it. I don't really like Pixar films all that much.
(gets back into his dustbin)
Although George Carlin's appearance sounds interesting.

I saw "Cars" at the cinema on Sunday with my little bro, and I absolutely loved it! I was highly anticipating this, and I wasn't disappointed at all. It was just what I was hoping for. The CG animation is amazing as usual, and yet another further step up. The visuals actually look very real (the freeway scenes I found particularly impressive) compared to Pixar's other films which looked semi-real but not completely real. The story is sharply written; in fact I couldn't believe just how creative it was. There are all these lovely little touches that commonly make one wonder: How did they think of such a great idea? The characters are very likable, and being a big fan of shows or whatnot with anthropomorphised vehicles, I very much liked them in particular. (I have always enjoyed the wonderment of anthropomorphised vehicles, obviously started by Thomas. If you love "Thomas & Friends" (but of course you would, you're a member here aren't you?) then I recommend "Cars" to you very strongly indeed.

My biggest fear for this movie was that it would be a lousy, boring, Thomas knock-off. I guess not. ;D George Carlin. Wow.

The scenery was unbelieveable and the race scenes were awsome. I actually hope that they do a sequel to this. The movie was that good.

I think that this film will be great. I haven't seen it yet, but my sister had, though she didn't like it too much. (She was the only person in her group who didn't like it. Go figure. ) Nevertheless, from what you guys have said, I'll be looking forward to this film, and George Carlin doing voicework again too!

I saw it at a Drive-In Theatre in Illinois with my Mom, siblings, three cousins, Aunt, Uncle, And Grandmaw. We all loved it! George Carlin was particularly hilarious! He put in alot more to that voice than just his 'Al Sleet' character like I was expecting. I also laughed at the 'Arnold Schwarzeneger' Caricature, Mater, and Luigi. Trust me, if there's any movie you want to see this Summer with the whole family, go and see this one!
