I saw it today. It was fun, although EXTREMELY predictable. I could see just about every plot twist coming a mile away. There were some fun characters, but nothing was very original in it, apart from perhaps the incredible visuals (which were truly stunning, but rarely distracting). Not the concept, the characters, the plot, etc... All were rehashed, possibly unintentionally, from other movies (in terms of plot, Doc Hollywood comes to mind, in particular). It was still enjoyable though, but not as good as Pixar's previous efforts. Still MUCH better than all the other 3D CGI animation studios' efforts.
It really bugs me that so many 3D animated movies are about supposedly cute wisecracking animals who make out-of-place pop culture references, always voiced by live-action celebs who don't necessarily make good voice actors. Not Pixar normally, apart from the celeb-turned-voice actor thing. And even then, they generally cast the roles well, Cars being no exception.

I watched the movie and man it was so good better then Finding Nemo. The Best part is when Mater and Mac-queen were scaring the tractors and I like how when Mater said "Holy smoke" that was funny but the best voice over was Filmore the hippy van like how he stared at the traffic lights with the Army van and at the end credits when they showed all of their Previous Disney Movies with Mac-queens truck. Anyway Mac-Queen's Truck was kind of cosy when he was in it anyway it is the #1 movie on my Disney 3D Movie list as here it is.
Top 4 Disney 3D Movie
1.Cars 2.Toy story/Toy story 2 3.A Bugs life/Monster's Inc 4.Finding Nemo
Imaging they made a Train Movie with Baldwin Locomotives. Well Just saying.

It was a funny movie. Agreed towards the Governator scene. Larry the cable guy played an excellent part as Mater. I loved thos four cours which pranked Mack. DJ, Boost, Snot Rod and Wingo. HAha, ending up with a decent punishment at the end;)

It sounds good and there are cameos from racing drivers of the present, such as NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jnr & ex-F1 world champ Michael Schumacher, and the past such as Indycar & F1 legend Mario Andretti. Saw a preview a few F1 grand prix back on ITV F1 of Schumey's cameo, it was truely hilarious!! ;D

I have yet to see this movie... What does Carlin make Filmore sound like? Does he sound like any voices Carlin used for TTTE?

To be honest, I had a hard time recognizing it as Carlin, even though I already knew it was him. It just didn't seem to have his distinctive voice, although it did have his "hippie" speech pattern. His character had a rather small part, too.

Hey bocodiseasel, why not try eBay for your last two models? They're bound to have them!

They do. We have ALL of the models, and my mum sells the spare toys on ebay in mint condition. Her username is 'number1bargains', if you're interested. Of course, you have to be registered to buy.

The only two rare models i know of are the Blue "Old days" Mater, and "Dinoco Mq Queen". Other than that, the others are simple to find. Don't forget about the playsets, ecspecially the Mack set.

I've spotted the Green Ramone, Sarge, and Lizzie a few times at my local stores. Never heard of Nitroade, or Leakless. if you can provide some pics that would be great.
P.S: I learned you can get old days mater from an upcoming 6 character gift set.

Saw it today. Wasn't bad (better than x:3 IMO) though I would have liked to see some more racing scenes (considering I've been a NASCAR Fan for the past 10 years)

I saw it yesterday. I thought it was a terrific movie. I'm really just a big fan of car movies. Plus I like Pixar, so put two and two together.

Hey, I like this movie! This movie was extremely funny especially with the Tractor tipping, Mater going backwards, and also with the credits, which my dad thought it was funny. This movie was great! My favourite parts is with the races.

I just watched this movie today, and *ahem* I LOVED IT!! ;D It was awesome! The graphics and detail were perfect, and the story was interesting and very funny. I liked the reference to Jay Leno and Arnold Schwarzenegger (sp?), and the races were realistic and humerous. My favourite characters are Filmore, Lizzie, Red, and Stanley. This movie is so cool, I made a bunch of sprites dedicated to the movie, for those who are interested in making a crossover with Thomas: For those who don't know (shame on you!), from left to right: -Lightning McQueen (Regular/Casual/Dinoco) -Mater (Regular/New) -Sally -Doc Hudson (Regular/Racing) -Fillmore -Guido -Luigi -Flo -Ramone (Regular Purple/Extended/Green/Red/Yellow) -Sarge -Lizzie -Tex -DJ -Boost -Snot Rod -Wingo Be sure there will be more, as I still have to do Red, Mack, Stanley, Frank, Bessie, Mia, Tia, Junior, Mrs. King, Leakless, Nitroade.......
