My mom seemed to really like George when she was younger. Then she liked Ringo when he became the first Thomas narrator.

Well in regards to the anniversary of Georges' passing, it is also the 4th anniversary of his tribute concert at the Royal Albert Hall, London. I have a copy of the 'Concert for George' DVD, and I can safely say that he really got the tribute he deserved. Hats off to Eric Clapton for collaborating such a gig
Does anyone else have it?

I should've posted this sooner:
It's been exactly 26 years since John Lennon was shot to death. A moment of silence for John...
I remember, last year, before band class started, I sat at the electronic keyboard and played "Imagine".

Ah, John.
He's a personal favourite Beatle of mine. He wrote some of my favourites such as Please, Please Me, It Won't Be Long, All I've Got To Do, A Hard Day's Night, I Should Have Known Better, You Can't Do That, I'm A Loser, I Feel Fine, Help, Nowhere Man, I'm Only Sleeping, Doctor Robert, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, I Am The Walrus, Hey Bulldog, Glass Onion, Sexy Sadie, Revolution, Don't Let Me Down and Come Together. That's only a few!
He was also a very good harmonica player as songs like Little Child and Love Me Do show.
He knew nothing about the technical information of his amps and instruments. Former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman remembers when John was at the Stones' Rock N Roll Circus, someone asked John what kind of amp he wanted, John replied, "One that plays!"

John Lennon. A man that for the longest time I didn't like. It's only been recently that I've admitted he wasn't so bad. Wrote some brillant songs (Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, I'm Still Yawning, etc.)
RIP John.

We Can Work It Out:

I'd seen the "Day Tripper" video, but those others were new to me. They were funny.

Here's a site with some awesome Beatles MIDIs.. //sophiaburns.com/sophia/beatles

Quick question for you Beatles nuts. In which year was the song Birthday released? I've got a feeling it was sometime between 1965-67, but I'd like confirmation, please.

I think Birthday was released in 1968, Clay.

On YouTube, I've found something very interesting:
An alternate version of "And I Love Her"!

That does sound interesting, Old Iron. My parents told me that since the lawsuit between Apple Records and Apple Computers was cleared up, Beatles songs would now be available on iTunes.

Sick! I just got into the Beatles recently: I only have afew songs (namely "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" "Hey Jude" and "Paperback Writer") but still, it's a start. I want to get "Penny Lane" and Lennon's "Imagine."
