In regards to speculations about Harry's death, may I quote the prophecy: "Neither can live while the other survives"

Today, I read in the newspaper that the Royal Mail in London plans to release 7 stamps, each depicting the cover of a book in the series. These stamps will be released on the 17th of July.

^ Interesting find there, Aidan!
I also heard that Rowling has politely asked people not to give out any spoilers before the book's official release date. Quoting that regardless of spoilers, people will still by the book, but they can never get back that moment by spoiling the ending for them.
It'll be interesting to see whether or not it'll be effective. Personally I think they'll find some method of getting out, so I'd just be careful if I were you guys.

I think it'll be effective. I never hear Harry Potter spoilers before reading the books.
I did see a video clip on Youtube of someone spoiling the ending of Half Blood Prince in front of people in a bookshop just before they were buying it. Makes you think how he found out.

A good month for Harry Potter. Order of the phoenix movie is out now and the new book is out next week. I can't wait for it. It's going to be huge.
Guess what TUGS fans Timothy Bateson is in The Order of the Phoenix movie. He's the voice of Kreacher.

I know the story behind that. He found out from someone in a different time zone, who had bought the book earlier.

I saw Harry Potter yesterday. It was great. I liked it better than the last one and not much was cut out. Umbridge does not disapont. She's good. You can't help but feel she got what came to her at the end. ;D. She must represent the teacher you hate so much.

I thought that they hit the nail on the head when it came to Umbridge's personality. Bellatrix Lestrange, too, was very sinister.

Ah well, folks, one more day to go to the new book's release. I heard tell that Waterstones set up a petition to prevent Harry from being killed off. However, two characters are still for the chop - still don't know who, though.

My mother and I came up with a prediction: Maybe, rather than Harry himself being the Horcrux, the Horcrux lies within his scar, and if the scar is destroyed, then Voldemort will be destroyed as well

I might know who gets killed off, but I'm sure no one wants to know.
Dang people take a digital photo of every page in the book!

I have a theory. I will expound if wanted. I do not intend to use it as a spoiler, merely as a point of talk.
PS: I have two copies ordered via Amazon. They arrive tomorrow! Cannot wait...:3

Wow, Aidan, you're quite the speed-reader. I'm only halfway through Chapter 8. But I think I'd prefer to go at my own pace.
I've read only a small section of the book, yet so much has happened already. I've laughed, cried silently, become very angry, let my jaw drop down in surprise, widened my eyes in shock, and I've even said "Awwww" at one particular point in the story.
Just wait until I've actually finished the book. I'll post my review in this thread.
