I know that there are some fans of Postman Pat here on the forum, including myself. I have decided to ask: What are your favourite episodes in the series? Here's my few:
1. Pat's finding day - First episode of the series, and the first episode I ever saw. A nice, simple story. Like many, I loved the bit when the Reverend Timms bumped his head.
2. Letters on Ice - Pat skating on the ice was funny.
3. Postman Pat and the Magpie Hen - Another funny story, especially the part with the hen stealing Pat's keys. I also loved the bit when the Postman Pat theme was played for a second time during the episode.
4. Pat Takes A Message - Ken Barrie's rendition of "Jess The Cat" was brilliant.
5. Postman Pat In A Muddle - Pat getting his letters muddled up was hilarious.
I haven't seen the new series, so I can't judge.

Foggy day was my all time fave. Has anyone seen the new episodes yet?

Wow, this is my kinda thread ;D
I always thought Foggy Day was rather slow, TBH, but it had it's good moments.
Here are my favourites, in order:
1. Pat's Thirsty Day - A great story, showcasing my favourite song "The Handyman Song" and my favourite character, Ted Glen, brilliantly.
2. The Sheep in the Clover Field - Memorable mainly for the scene with "The Farmers' Song" playing as Pat watches the Thompsons at work.
3. Postman Pat Has Too Many Parcel's - Pat's first ride on the postal scooter is hilarious! One of the funniest scenes in the series.
4. Pat Takes A Message - Dunno why, I just like it.
5. Letters On Ice - Has a great feel to it. The snow scenes were very atmospheric. The scene with Pat and Jess on the ice is amusing. There's a nice instrumental of Miss Hubbard's song towards the end too.
I've seen all the new episodes so far. Looks series 4 will be even better than the last series. There's still a little too much of the the children and the Baines family though.

That's what I hate about the new series. It's all about the kids and the Asians. May I remind Entertainment Rights that the show was called Postman Pat for a reason! Sorry. Anyway, I dunno which episode I like best. I loved the song 'Handyman' and Ted Glen is my favourite character. Hmm, probably 'Foggy Day', because of the music played when Pat lost Jess. I lose a couple of tears when I hear that.

I've seen a few of the episodes due to come up, and there's a good ep about Pat and Ted restoring a classic car for Dr. Gilbertson.
I'll admit, I haven't seen all the episodes from the early series. Hence my bidding for all three of the original videos (with that 'star' BBC logo on).

Letters On Ice is the only classic episode I have no knowledge about. I haven't seen it or have that book. Takes a message is the other one i haven't seen but I do have the book.
About Dragonfox's comment, It's reminded me of an old strip from the Dandy called Postman Patel. ;D. I don't think he's in the Dandy now.

1. Pat's finding day - First episode of the series, and the first episode I ever saw. A nice, simple story. Like many, I loved the bit when the Reverend Timms bumped his head. Yes, me too. My Mum says I could never stop laughing at that bit and would rewind the tape to watch it again and again!

I liked the episode where Pat had to drive the post bus to Pencaster. The post bus is one of my fave vehicles, so I have to like the episode! And I also loved the one where Pat's van got stuck in the mud when trying to pass Sam Waldron's mobile shop. And I liked the one with the "Leave it to me" Song. Great show.

I'll be sending off for those three Postman Pat videos tomorrow. I'll tell you this, in the meantime, Ken Barrie was just as good as his singing as his narrating. He'd be perfect for narrating Thomas, if given the chance.

I won three videos of Postman Pat of ebay, and I'll say I enjoyed them just as much as I did years ago, if not more. It was the first time I saw 'Pat's Thirsty Day', 'Pat's Windy Day' and 'Pat's Difficult Day'. I loved the Handyman song. I couldn't stop humming it!

I've seen some new Postman Pat episode's. Best ones are
Postman Pat And The Surprise Present - it's good to see Dr Gilbertson having a big role.
Postman Pat And The Runaway Train - loads of excitment in this episode.
Postman Pat's Pied Piper - the music at the end's great.

I haven't seen any of the new episodes beyond season 2. For some reason, I didn't use to like the fact there were two narrators in Series 2. But for some reason I'm starting to warm to it now.

Another good New Postman Pat episode is "Postman Pat and the lucky escape" This episode doesn't focus on the children and look out for Sam Waldron's van which appears in this episode.

Whoa, nice find Chris! That pic is super! It's interesting for me cause I like dabbling with stop-motion. It's so cool to see TV model sets from a full-size human view-- Thomas, Postman Pat, etc..
