Yeh, they're called 'Mr. Neat' and 'Mr. Tidy'. Anyway, would Mr. Careless look like this?:

Sorry to burst your bubble, 01salty, but they're actually called "Mr. Bustle" and "Mr. Busy". I quite imagine how funny it was when the latter got turned into a Mr Man a couple of books later..... ;D Anyways, to clear up confusion, "Mr. Neat" and "Mr. Tidy" appeared in "Mr. Messy". In my opinion, they could be perfect bachelors for Little Miss Neat and Little Miss Tidy...

Thanks! After all these questions, I have finally come up with 'Mr. Careless'. Tadaa!:

Ahh, I always wondered who the Little Miss to the right was. When I saw her in 'Mr. Brave', I was just so baffled. Thanks 01salty!
And the site with all the info and pics is great, oj!
Did you know that in some regions, Little Miss Plump was renamed Little Miss Greedy? Political correctness... I'm happy I have the original book. Somewhat valuable.
I've seen giant plush characters at one of my local malls. Practically lifesize! And I like the figurines that have started to come out recently; they're really nice.
I own all the Mr. Men books up the likes of Mr. Perfect and Mr. Brave. I don't have any from the years after and never really had that many Little Miss books, but I do have some. I might try and obtain the rest of the books.
My favourite TV series is the 1995 one, of which I own all the videos.
In all, Hargreave's creation really is brilliant.

Yeh, I remember Little Miss Greedy being called Little Miss Plump. Did you know in another country Mr. Jelly is called Mr. Nervous, and Mr. Mean is called Mr. Stingy!

Ahhh, the Mr Men. Another favourite from my early years. I used to have every book for both genders, up to Mr Cheerful and Little Miss Somersault, but am not quite sure what became of them. Probably bunged in an upstairs cupboard somewhere.
My personal favourites are Mr Tickle and Mr Uppity - partly because I think I've grown up into them. ;D

I got a free Mr Men dvd with the Sunday papers. It had the classic series on. It's so touching with a Husband and wife team narating. I would like to do that with my future wife/girlfriend ;D.
There was some differences in the classic series with Artuhr Lowe and Alderton/Collins.
Mr Strong = In the book he walks into a bus by accident but in the episode he walks through a wall. Plus he seems to have a magic hat. It keeps disapearing.
Most of the Little Miss episodes have added scenes or something different to the book. Here's some I can remember
Little Miss Helpful = When she helps Mr Tall tie his shoelaces. She goes to a wizards house and memorize a spell to turn him small then tall again. She turns Mr Tall small but she can't remember how to turn him tall again. Mr Small appears while she trys to remember.
Little Miss Splendid = She is seen talking to her staff. Her butler is called Hargreaves (A reference to you-know-who)
Little Miss Tiny = One scene she sees a worm and she thinks it's a monster and she runs away another scene she sits on a stone which moves. It turns out to be a snail. An interesting note for you. When she meets Mr Small he is in Mr Strong's egg basket. Mr Small gets mixed up in eggs in his story.
Little Miss Naughty = Mr Worry and Mr mean appear. She trys to play a prank on Mr Jelly and Mr Lazy but Mr Impossible stops her.
Little Miss Trouble = Mr Small works at a sweet shop (like in his story) I seem to remember Mr Clever and Mr Uppity coming in to assult him.
Little Miss scaterbrain = Mr Slow appears
Little Miss Late = At the beginning, Mr Silly phones her up and arranges to go to the disco with her but of course she gets there too late.
If I see more on my taped video I'll post some more notes.

I wanted know if it's true that Mr. Tickle was the first of the whole thing, but who can say it's so. I read an article on the Mr. Men series on Wikipedia but I can't be sure.

He was the first Mr. Man created, after young Adam Hargreaves asked his father:
Dad, what does a tickle look like? (Or something like that)
So yeh, Roger first created Mr. Tickle, and then the others.

Another new special Mr. Man has been created, this time for promotion for the Movember/No-Shave-November month (a thing guys participate in- they grow moustaches and raise money for cancer)... So here he is... MR. MOLink here. Although he (unfortunately) won't be in a book, there are shirts of him being sold at Target stores. I might end up getting one, for collections' sake. ---- Also, I've come across another rare promotional Mr. Man from 1989 for a chain of Steak Houses, only found on badges... MR. BEEFEATERWeird huh?

Personally, one question comes to mind: Why? Why do the Mr Men deserve a multi-million, celebrity-packed so-unlike-the-original-books-it's-maddening feature-length movie when what we've already been blessed with has been good enough for us? It's as if Hollywood really has no place for originality any more [/end of rant]

There are rumours already on IMDB about the plot but take it with a pinch of Salt. It doesn't look reliable. I would like to hear about the plot first before I make up my mind but I really hope it is faithful to the books. I also hope the producers learn from mistakes such as Thunderbirds and Thomas and the Magic Railroad.
