Talk about Major League Baseball or other leagues, your favorite teams, etc.
My fav team is undeniably the Boston Red Sox. Their playoff chances are not looking good, though; they dropped three straight to the Yankees as of tonight and are 4 ½ games back in the AL East, and they're in a similar deficit for the Wild card.

I'm a Dodger fan. They're playing good ball these day and I hope it stays that way. I hope they win the division over Arizona. If they do, I anticipate a tough playoff match with St. Louis.

I'm a Mets fan. See you in the World Series. ;D well even the Mets world series hopes may be in doubt right now. Pedro's on the DL and hasn't been himself this season, even when healthy. To top that, the ace while Pedro is on the mend, Tom Glavine may have a blood clot, and his career let alone his season may be in jeopardy. The Mets may now have a serious competitor in the Dodgers. and also, Yankees swept the bosox in a 5 game series!!!!!!!!!! amazing!

I hope there's another Subway Series. I could finally get revenge on my brother for the 2000 series. Pedro should be back for the post season, but I don't know about Glavine. John Maine has impressed me, and El Duque has always been great in the playoffs, so the Mets really have a great chance.

The Cards are too shaky and the wild card winner could be the Reds lol. Hopefully for the Mets in the playoffs El Duque can go back to deceiving form he once had with the Yanks, he could really be lights out. and although Maine has been very good, I still wouldn't be all that confident with a rookie starting a playoff game. perhaps the Mets could get David Wells. He reportedly cleared waivers.

Yeah, but Wells hasn't been pitching like he used to. I think he said he's retiring after the season's over. I would probably use John Maine as a reliever in the playoffs, I can't trust him starting a post season game yet.

Update on the Mets: Glavine does not need surgery. He'll be back in 7-10 days. Also, the Mets have acquired Shawn Green from Arizona, although I don't have a lot of info on that at the moment.

Well, according to today's edition of Cold Pizza on ESPN2, the Sox have better chances of making the playoffs than the White Sox... That's better than nothing, isn't it? I firmly believe that the returns of Jason Varitek and Trot Nixon will bring them at least Wild Card again!

I think the Red Sox could beat the White Sox easily. There is no way they are going to beat Detroit though, because the wild card winner is probably gonna be playing them.

Well, RRJS#, your predictions may be wrong. As for me, I've just about given up. The deficit in the East is now 7 games, Wildcard 6.5, and David Ortiz is out indefinitely with an irregular heartbeat. Christ, if that's because of roids, I've officially given up...

Hehehe XD I'm a White Sox fan all the way, south side Chicago forever ;D At least they whipped those Cubs real good last year, that'll put some sense into those northsiders XD
But that's just my opinion, I come from a very south side family XD
