Trombone... I love that band. We are playing: The Reason, Gloria, and We Are the Reason. I'm a senior this year, so this is my last show ever to learn, till I go to college to major in music education. I'm first chair now, and it's HARD WORK being section leader. There were times where it was like Thomas and the Statue, then there were the happy times. I love my section. They are goofy, but cool. Forgive the refernce to TTTE, but this is best defining their personalities... Ashley-Mavis Cody-Bill and Ben-ish Kyle-Harvey Clint-Duncan Victoria-Daisy Sarah-Emily Corey-friend of mine like Thomas and Percy are... Brittney-Isabella Patrick-Patrick the cement truck

I've been wanting to do this for a long time. And now I've got a video camera, I can! This is me playing a series of rock songs on the electric guitar. But be warned, this is a big file. About 80MG and 33 minutes long. So, download if you dare! www.megaupload.com/?d=18GA4ZPL

Well ladies and gentleman, we've had 'SIF Aid' from me. Now it's time for 'SIF 8' (Halford, you'll like this one!) So plug in your air guitar, wack your amplifier up to 11 and lets rock! www.megaupload.com/?d=VQVXBAUH

Once again, Chris, that was extremely awesome. "Tie Your Mother Down" was brilliant, and you were really rocking out to "Wild Thing", which was a brilliant cover.

That is pretty bloody awesome. ;D You looked pretty natural when you playing, made it look easier than it is - except for the solos and a few dud notes, but I can forgive that. Good stuff Chris.

Blimey.......somebody else noticed! Well, like I said I'm not particularly good at solos. And most of Queens music is rather difficult to play. Especially for those who've had NO LESSONS. I. E....Me. Still, thanks for the feedback Clay. Means a lot to me.

I had a feeling you'd ballsed up when you were shaking your head... I have to ask though, just how silly did you feel doing the whole guitar arm 360-degree thing? Because it didn't look natural to me. Although the headbanging was right on cue - there I was, thinking, "Man, he need to do some headbanging to make this awesome", and immediately I had thought that you decided to do so. Great stuff. Oh, incidentally, I played snare drum (badly) when I was in the Australian Air League. I might pop up a clip of me stuffing around with my drum pad later.

SILLY!! I'll have you know that I do that all the time! I had no idea that I headbanged on cue. I just play in a style that I feel comfortable with. Besides, I'm not particularly fussed with the fact that I can't do solos. I just keep going with the song in the hope that I redeem myself later on in the piece (usually with a bit of 'windmilling' as you implied).

Ha ha ha...it just looked uncomfortable is all. I suppose I'll get another chance to look in August Nah, it's good playing - the solos weren't too bad, you could at least tell that what they were supposed to be. And for someone who's had no lessons it's bloody impressive. Now play Dead On Time

Do we have any bassists in the house? I just picked up a bass guitar for free today (a friend my dad works with didn't want his, so I ended up with it...) and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to play it. It's an old model, but I hooked it up to my guitar amp and played around with it and it sounds okay. Also, anyone ever heard of the program Guitar Pro? I just downloaded the latest version and it's really great! You can use midi inputs to write songs and stuff. I just might compose some Pinchers songs on there for the fun of it... ;D ATK

Not bad. Too bad I'm not in my school band anymore. I used to play alto sax, but quit a few years ago since it was taking up too much time... Currently, I'm trying to teach myself how to play bass guitar, and it's going pretty good so far. If I have nothing else to do one day, maybe I'll record something for you guys.

www.megaupload.com/?d=NDOGOKMSThis is my last concert for High School. We played alot of things. I was tired for All Aboard, but we played American Dad, Family Guy, King of the Hill, Children of the Shrine, Host of Freedom, To Dance in the Secret Garden, Where Eagles Soar, Freedom and it's all on this recording. My mother did her best and did a fine job.

Last night was my school's spring concert. We played a few movements from "Carmina Burana" (which made me think of Sir Topham Hatt's Monologues" ;D) "Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart, and even a piece called "Ghost Train", which is based on an old American legened.
