but apparently, she is embarassed to be identified as the pink ranger these days. I wonder why...? Anyway, as the poll currently stands, green ranger is everyone's favourite ranger, beating the red and white rangers. I wonder why 6th rangers are popular. Similarly, I heard after an ep of Power Rangers Lightspeed Recsuce (in the US), the webmaster of a site who was doing ep guides got annoyed, because he knew the kids in a poll by the channel would vote for Titanium ranger!

Ryans last post intruiged me, and by searching I found a couple of other Power Rangers cast members on MySpace, the most interesting of which was Paul 'Bulk' Schrier; has a few interesting Power Rangers facts on there: profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=65782704I also found Johnny Yong Boschs (Adam), but couldn't see any facts on there. I reckon she just stuck around for the movie to get noticed and then left the series. Either way, didn't really work; she hasn't done anything major since she left, and for those in the US, have her songs topped the charts at all?

As, I was saying, Power Rangers Ninja Storm is my favourite series there is. Here are some lines, that make me laugh a lot. “There Is No I In Team” Lothor: Take your nieces out for the summer, they tell me. They won’t be any trouble, they said. “Nowhere To Grow” Kapri: Oh, well, another one bites the dust. Lothor: Who’s idea was the weed? Choboo: His sir, not me, him! Zurgane: His sir! Lothor: GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! “Snip It, Snip It Good” Lothor: You traded the jade turtle for rags? Marah: Hello, designer? Lothor: You will feel the wrath of my disappointment later. Right now, I have to clean up the mess you made. Lothor: Rub a dub, dub, girls, you know I like my Kelzaks clean. Marah: What’s the point? They’ll just be destroyed by the power rangers, anyway? Lothor: Just for that, you can start on the walls on the space ship when you’re through. Kapri: Oh, will you be quiet and scrub? Marah: Why do these things keep happening to me? (I think that what she said.) "Return Of Thunder, Part 2" Lothor: What good is destroying the power rangers if we’ve been turned into alien ice sculptures?! "Good Will Hunter" Lothor: Get back my PAM, or I will use that eyelash curler to remove your eyelashes ONE AT A TIME! Lothor: What pray tell is that? Marah: It’s the latest model PAM Kapri: Yeah, it has E-Mail. Give it a try. (Lothor pushes buttons and makes a dog.) Kapri: Oh, look! Marah: How cute! Lothor: This isn’t a P A M, it’s a M A P: Make A Puppy. Marah: Oh, can we keep him, uncle, please? Kapri: Please? Lothor: NO! I already got you a pet and you never play with him! (Puppy chases little Choboo.) Lothor: Now you find my PAM or you’ll be in the dog house! "Sensei Switcheroo" Kapri: Okay, they, like blew footzilla to bits. Marah: So, what do we do now? Lothor: How long have you’ve been working here? You make them big, okay? They blow them up and we make them big! Happens every time! How could you not get that part?

I thought that the only character from the original series (if you exclude Jason Frank in Dino Thunder) was Amy Jo Johnson, who went on to star in a series called Felicity. I've never actually seen any of it, but apparently, she is embarassed to be identified as the pink ranger these days. If you watch the "I love the 90s" Power Rangers segment on Youtube it shows an interview with Amy Jo Johnson and the guy that played Zack. They say about it being badly made and that was part of what made it so good, so it seems that casting teams will hold that against her. As for my favourite Ranger, I've been torn between the Green and White for years but I will say the White because of the banter between him and Saba along with that little thing called Tigerzord.

Someone recently posted the first op to Power Rangers Time Force on YouTube, and according to him, the bit with Time Shadow standing on the Twin Towers near the end was cut after 9/11. Does anyone know what it got replaced with?

Correct me if I'm wrong: The Power Rangers series are based on the Japanese Sentai shows, right? If so, then when the heck are they gonna get round to adapting THIS classic?

Correct me if I'm wrong: The Power Rangers series are based on the Japanese Sentai shows, right? If so, then when the heck are they gonna get round to adapting THIS classic? Sentai's part of a larger genre in Japan called Tokusatsu, which includes things like Metal Hero and Kamen Rider, the former was adapted in Saban's other probductions VR Troopers and Beetleborgs, and the latter into Masked Rider (which I hear was a flop, well I liked it!). Basically in Tokustatsu, you get heroes who transform into suits (made out of spandex, but not necessarily), get special powers, and giant robots. As for Spiderman (or Supaidaman in its romaized name) I wouldn't expect any Americanised Tokusatsu since Saban's collapsed and I don't think Disney (who does the adaptation of Power Rangers now) would be interested. There's also the option that it gets dubbed, which I hear hasn't happened since the 70s, although a show named Ultraman Tiga (that's part of the Tokusatsu genre too) was dubbed recently. Unfortunately, the dubber was 4Kids Entertainment. So to answer your question Alaric, write letters, get people round to your campaign, and hopefully we'll get it subbed. (because I don't think people would be interested in adapting Japanese Spiderman, unless the film studios run short of ideas). EDIT: Spiderman got a Megazord in the Japanese series!? No wonder you want it adapted.

I've read that Jason and Adam were considered for the role Tommy had in Dino Thunder. I personally think it would have been good if Adam (or Jason but I think Adam would have been better) had it. I feel Tommy is the token main character (he goes from race car driver to Dino expert). Does anyone think that he hogs the spotlight? He's alot like the Fonz. My fave was Jason but I feel he lives in Tommy's shadow. I was delighted when he returned as gold ranger.

So to answer your question Alaric, write letters, get people round to your campaign, and hopefully we'll get it subbed. Nah, I'll just watch it on YouTube. They've got the first episode up there. It;s not subbed or anything, but that's never stopped me before. EDIT: Spiderman got a Megazord in the Japanese series!? No wonder you want it adapted. That is in fact the only reason why I want it adapted, because otherwise it's just the American series dubbed into Japanese with Putties.

Something I just found out the other day: the actress who played Rita Repulsa (or Bandora in Zyuranger) died of cancer earlier this year. SOURCE:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machiko_SogaPretty sad really. As was the death of Thuy Trang five years ago (For those who didn't know, the actress who played Trini died in a car crash).

Sad really, she was a good actor, as was Thuy. May they both R.I.P. As for me in the Ranger unvierse today, I continue to download Mystic force. But in all honesty, SPD and Ninja Storm are the best to date (Nothing beats the Snetai series though). Still, sad to see Bandora/Rita go.

Machiko Soga (Rita's actress)'s last role was Magiel in Magiranger, her only Sentai role as a "good girl". (note: Magiel was the Sentai equivalent of the three "mages" from PRMF episode Dark Wish)
BTW, there was a website that had photos from Thuy Trang's funeral. Not sure if I should post the link though as some people on the forum where the photos were objected (stating it wasn't good to see an actress at their weakest). And the thread may have been deleted.
Coincidentally, there was mention on a forum some time back that an ex-yellow ranger actress (can't remember who) did a road safety advert and said she disliked it or something, and Taylor is ticketed by Eric for speeding in the Wild Force/Time Force team up. Hence the thread's title "Cars-the yellow ranger's worst enemy" (or something like that)

Been watching a few Super Sentai episodes on YouTube and despite not understanding a word of Japanese ( OK, I know "Neesa" means "brother"...) I've actually quite enjoyed seeing what MMPR left out. The main one I'm watching at the minute is Dairanger (MMPR Series 2) which has some good fight scenes with the White Ranger, but I'd recommend you watch them yourselves. www.youtube.com/profile?user=kamj

Is it just me, or does it seem like Jetix UK really wants to get through Mystic Force extremely quickly?
The final two episode air today, which means that they've gotten through the entire series in about 2 weeks. I know there are only 32 episodes this series, but still, it seems quite fast, considering they normally air the first half of a series about 6 times before showing all but the last 2 of the remaning episodes, and then finally the last 2 about 3 months before the next series is about to start.
I'm not sure, but I think they want to get to Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive as fast as possible. Mystic Fate is going to air in the UK before America, and it has always been the other way around, and considering America gets about 1 episode a week, and they started in Februrary....... I dunno, it's just came and gone really.

*sighs* Wikipedia spammers.
Alaric (and anyone else reading), the reason PR fans don't consider the movie canon is because its events are contradicted by the opening episodes in season 3.
In other news, Mystic Fate has indeed aired on Jetix UK. The episode and a clip of the final battle, have been put up on YouTube. I shudder to think of uproar. And Magiel puts in an appearance, played by Machiko Soga (via Japanese footage), her voice overdubbed, her lips not synching. One person thought it was meant as a tribute.
I don't think Operation Overdrive will air in UK first before US. They're likely to show the whole series again, or even an earlier one.

I've now seen Mystic Fate, although not on the telly and I don't want to reveal my sources. For me it was one of the best, if not the best series ever and that is partly due to my interest in all things magical and mythical. Although I was dissapointed in the last episode, it seems far too wishy washy and sugar coated for me especially with the way that the Master Falls and the rangers find a way to win without the second to last twist. Anyway I shouldn't spoil it anymore and it was nice to see Rita again although she was in a completely different roll to that she was in last time we saw her after Power Rangers Lost Galaxy (I think). They could have done more with her storyline, it just seems that Power Rangers is becomming lower and lower budget so they cut episode numbers down and as a result cannot develop characters aswell.

Just seen Mystic Fate and it has got to be up there with some of the best Power Rangers finales EVER. The action, the surprising twists, the constant tension throughout it and the open-ended, but nonetheless satisfying ending were absolutely morphenonemal!
Not to mention the nod toward the old days of the Rangers when we finally discovered what happened to Rita Repulsa. A very nice means of using the Magiranger footage in which the actress who portrayed her was in.
Wouldn't say the characters were the best the Series has ever had, but they were given one of the best running storylines ever to grace the Power Rangers.
Let's hope Operation Overdrive is as good if not better!
