Right, boys. Time to ask: What are/were your favourite episodes? Here were mine:
Day of The Dumpster: The first episode, bringing us to a new generation of heroes.
Foul Play In The Sky: The scene with Kim in the aeroplane was very suspenceful.
Green With Evil Saga: Exciting, dramatic and suspenceful all in one, with a marvellous ending.
Wheel of Misfortune: Bulk and Skull's scene at the end was hilarious. In fact, those two provided as much comic relief as Bill and Ben.
The Green Candle Saga: The scenes in the Dark Dimension were dramatic, and, following Tommy's power transfer, we are left to wonder what will happen to him and the other rangers.
A Bad Reflection On You: Humour and drama combined nicely, with some of Bulk and Skull's best scenes in the entire series.
Return of An Old Friend Saga: Great to see Tommy back again as the Green Ranger.
Mighty Morphin' Mutants: In spite of the "Evil Rangers" plan being used for the second time, it was interesting to see another evil Green Ranger.
The Mutiny Saga: Great introduction to Lord Zedd, with suspence throughout. I'll admit (prepares to be blasted to pieces with Blade Blasters wielded by SiF members) I never used to really like the Thunderzords, but I like them better now that I'm older. It'd've been interesting to see what Thunderzord the Green Ranger would've had.
Green No More Saga: Tommy shows he can still put up a good fight, even with his powers almost completely diminuished, with a great ending.
Missing Green: Interesting for Lord Zedd to carry out the 'candle' trick on four of the other Rangers. Great episode revolving around Jason.
White Light: This is one of my all-time favourites, this. Tommy becoming the White Ranger reminded me of when Henry got his new shape at Crewe in "The Flying Kipper". The part when he makes Kimberley faint always gets a good chuckle from me.
Ninja Encounter: Nice introduction to Rocky, Adam and Aisha. Very scary epsiode, especially when the three are trapped.
Power Transfer Saga: Whilst it was a pity to see Jason, Trini and Zack go, it was great to see Rocky, Adam and Aisha get their just rewards for their bravery.
Best Man for the Job: The arguments between Kimberely and Tommy were good.
Blue Ranger Gone Bad: An interesting ep, especially the crush between Billy and Violet.
The Power Rangers Movie: The Rangers at their very best, no doubt about it. I strongly disagreed when someone at school called the film "Dull and slow". At least this film followed the show to the letter (or almost to the letter), unlike a certain film by Britt Allcroft (i.e Thomas and the Magic Railroad).
Ninja Quest Saga: In spite of the plot being similar to the Power Rangers film, this saga had its good moments. The scenes where Rito Revolto (sp?) and the monsters completely wreck the Thunderzords were well done indeed. Touching was the part when Kimberley bursts out: "What do we do now?" There were some humorous scenes with Ninjor, too, and the TV versions of the NinjaZords were superb.
Wizard for a day: A humorous episode, especially the scene with Rito and Marvo.
Changing Of The Zords Saga: Katherine following Rita's influence was great. I feel this is one of the more touching episodes in the whole series. I can strong sympathy for Tommy (and the others to some extent) when Kimberely's missing Power Coin drains her of energy, especially the scene where she passes out in Part 1. Part 2 reminded me of Tommy in his late Green Ranger days, especially as Kimberely almost sacrifices her life to save Katherine (which, as most of us know, was a trick). The scene were Zedd burgles the Command Centre was scary as anything.
Master Vile Saga: An interesting addition in the form of the Metallic Armour, with a lot of suspenceful scenes. This was the last of the great Power Rangers episodes, really. It's a pity they had to change it shortly afterwards. But life goes on, I suppose.
