...but if it came down to the wires, a certain blue steam engine'd always win. I don't see what the 'Duchess of Gloucester' has to do with anything. I'm sorry, did I forget to mention that this particular blue steam engine was an LBSCR E2 0-6-0? :3

Y'know, despite the fact that the show is untentionally unrealistic and the engines are *ugly*, the storylines don't seem that bad.

The website's currently down for maintenance, presumably being updated in the run-up to broadcast...

This series starts here in the UK next Monday, showing at 9am on BBC2 and 4.30pm on CBeebies.
The first episode is called "Pop Decoy" -
Pop Superstar Sam 7 is playing at the theatre and it's up to Jubilee to get him there without hundreds of fans finding out. Unfortunately, Jubilee lets the secret out and he and Ernie have to find a way to get Sam 7 to the theatre without being mobbed...

Excellent, now we can finally see it... and judge it! (Lightning flashes. Thunder roars)
But seriously, I think if we can stop thinking about it as a Thomas rip-off, it could be okay. I'm a Tube enthusiast myself, and rooting for a good series.

That doesn't seem like a bad storyline. It sounds realistic enough to watch -- after Series 8 and 9 of TTTE I'm willing the give this series a chance.

No... Don't say it... NO!!!!! OK, I'll say it. That story line sounds funny. I think I may go against my Thomas fandom and watch it. SEE HOW BAD A THOMAS FAN I AM! EDIT: Oh, I'm a Main Line Engine now... Take that, Stepney (the Engine)!

*Goes to website* URK!! *Has heart attack* These guys look almost exactly the same as the equally scary looking 'Jay Jay the Jet Plane'. I don't really figure it'll work out. I'd rather watch season 8 or 9 of Thomas (Coming from me that's REALLY saying something!

The storylines sound good, but I still hate the way that the characters look.
If only HiT could kidnap the writer for "Ernie"...

Instead of '"If only HiT could kidnap the writer for "Ernie"', it should be '"If only HiT could make their writers write to the same standard as "Ernie"'.

I'm mildly disturbed by the fact that the French train's favourite thing is "frog's legs", the Russian train's in "snow" and the Australian's is "kangeroos" (sic). That's the way to ensure international sales, shallow stereotyping of your target audiences.
