Heh, I have that on DVD! I agree with you, Dragonfox, it's really sad, but it's quite good nonetheless.

Favourites, and rants about them Pokemon, I love the games, the anime though is getting stale, I agree with everyone else, though I kinda like James's current voice, he's betta ^_^. Still, as I said, I am a big fan of both the Gameboy games and the TCG! I have a big collection! ^_^ Digimon, Seasons 1-3 are ok, but I'm not exactly a fan of season 4 as its just too weird for my liking. And if anyone is interested, I have the FIRST episode of season 5 in Japanese, with english subtitles, I must say despite Agumon's little change, I wouldnt mind it, better than 4 at least YuGiOh, I am a BIG GX fan, I even have Ancient Gear Golem (Crowler's rare card) in Ultimate rare! I have a lot of these episodes in Japanese AND english. I must say, comparing the first episode, I'd say they did a good job dubbing, though they could have kept some parts in so as to make the story a whole lot more sense. Simple lecture about this. The scene where Bastion (american name) was being tested. his opponent had "Big Sheild Gardna" and "Gear Golem the moving fortress" on the field, both in DEF. These are good defence monsters, my rant is simply this... Japanese Dub Opponent: "With this defence deck, you cant attack my lifepoints anymore. English Dub Opponent: "Alright new guy, Multiple choice, you got two monsters staring you down, do you A: Throw in the towel, B: Beg for mercy, or C: Run home to Mama!" if they kept the japanese line it would have made a whole lot more sense as to whats going on. Thats just an example, dont get me started Still, all in all, I love the show ^_^ Sailor Moon, its a classic, even the english dub, havent seen the japanese version but I DO know a few of its changes (the "Nude-eraser" for example, and the "Rubbing off clevrage" senario). I like it, its not bad Full metal alchemist, this is so good, seen all of the episodes in japanese and its so perfect I prefer not to see the english dub, it was as funny as h***, excellent! One Piece, saw it, loved it, got the japanese versions of some episodes and even one of the movies (not subtitled though -_-), loved it even more! Medabots, I admit I am not that huge of a fan, but I have the GBA games and the Gamecube game and it isnt bad, I love collecting the Medaparts, they rule! Thats all I can name off the top of my head as of now, but I'd say I am a bit of an anime fanatic. I have quite a good anime collection, might as well make a list of which sometime to see what I got in total. Anime rules all!!!!

I've been wondering something about the Magical characters I've seen in Anime series. From what I observed, the protagonists usually transform when they are attacked by the villains; however, it usually takes a minute or two for them to complete the metamorphosis, wouldn't that give enough time for the villains to interrupt and stop them from transforming?

From what I observed, the protagonists usually transform when they are attacked by the villains; however, it usually takes a minute or two for them to complete the metamorphosis, wouldn't that give enough time for the villains to interrupt and stop them from transforming? For some shows, the transformation stops time in order for this transformation to come about. Sailor Moon for example, in our eyes and hers we see her transform into the most beautiful and deadly fighter we all know and love, but in the eyes of the villians (Queen Beryll in this case) she just sees a bright light shinning on her, and in a few seconds we see her as Sailor moon. Though a parody archive on Wikipedia stated that the villians stop because the transformation shows signs of nude and the villians are too busy looking at their breasts than anything else and are too occupied to fight back, this is far from the truth, but a funny statement nonetheless Hope this answers your question Anime Boy ^_^

I have found a website comparing the original One Piece to the 4Kids dub. VERY interesting read. WARNING: Hardcore fans of One Piece, after reading the content on this site, please take the time to sit, take deep breaths and say It could be worse... It could be worse.. repeatedly and calmly (but seriously, a lollipop? A hammer with a spring? Do me a Gosh-darned favour!); opguide.bravehost.com/Also, who remembers Tenchi Muyo!? That was a fantastic series in my opinion. EDIT: 4Kids Entertainment. Our mission is to catch the wave of kids' tastes and shape them into top-selling products. We know what Kids Like.*dies laughing*

reno, if you like Cardcaptors, I recommend seeing it in its unedited Japanese form. It's a MILLION times better than the Canadian dub. (I say Canadian because Nelvana, the company that dubbed Cardcaptor Sakura, is Canadian. No offense to the Canadian members of this board. )

Well, here's a link to a Cardcaptors Uncensored site to get you started: www.cardcaptors-uncensored.com/index.shtmlI advise viewing that site with a bit of caution though, somehow the web master got the idea that Madison (or Tomoyo if you like the Japanese version) buys Sakura's costumes. I'd also like to warn that, either it's me being slightly oversensitive, or that site seems to bash the dub about a bit. Hence I don't trust a lot of "uncensored" sites (and yes, I don't like that Cardcaptors Uncensored site at all).

I've just discovered that Sky channel 193, Rapture TV, is showing two anime series: Full Metal Alchemist and Wolf's Rain. www.rapturetv.com/news-story6.htmThis is certainly good news for UK anime fans. We've been lacking in proper anime on TV since CNX became the horrible Toonami and Sci-fi channel phased out anime.

Aye... that was one of the main reasons I used to watch CNX -- good shows on it! Those are Anime I'm proud to have watched I actually saw the odd "Rare" anime in HMV today... Cardcaptors, Tenchi Muyo (the original series), Kiki's Delivery Service etc. Pity I didn't buy them... I was buying some "other" anime.
