Masaru, is a second year Junior High student, and is undefeated in battle, He meets the Digital Monster Agumon, who has escaped from DATS, a secret government organization. Despite terrible first impressions, the two become best friends by talking with their "fists". With others, Masaru and Agumon work to investigate various incidents involving the Digital World and Digital Monsters, to try and get to the bottom of things. Hmm, the plotline sounds close to that of Digimon Tamers and a fanfic I once read (i.e. they involved government organizations). Oh well here's to the new season, and that it's dubbed well by Disney and broadcasted in England (still waiting for Frontier...why won't they show it...) *sips drink*

Inuyasha? I don't care for it, but if I were to say that in public, a bunch of pissed off fangirls would trample me.

I have some rather bad news reguarding Pokemon. Recently, a new company known as Pokemon USA took over dubbing of the episodes into English. We're approaching the 10th anniversary of the show and a 1 hour special has been announced to mark the occasion. Unfortunately, it has emerged that the new producers have decided to complete ditch all the old voice actors, and hire sound-alikes to do the special and all future episodes. Myself and many other fans are upset at the treatment of the voice actors who will have understandably grown attatched to their characters after voicing them for 8 years. So that's Veronica Taylor as Ash, Eric Stuart as Brock and James as well as many others, who will be losing their characters. Not to mention the fact, that it will be impossible not to notice the change, even if the new voice actors are good. If you would like to know more about this and/or complain to Pokemon USA about this decision, more info can be found here: www.serebii.net/dub.shtml

As you can see, I'm not a animé fan.

I really hate Pokemon, but I did like it a bit in the late 90's. Anyhow, this is ridiculous. They really shouldn't be doing this; NOBODY is going to be happy about it. Especially if they're hiring SOUND-ALIKES, who have no chance of doing a better job-- they're just going to try (and probably fail) to imitate the old ones. My god, that's SO stupid. Pokemon USA indeed.

For those who don't know, 4Kids likes to BUTCHER the teen teen anime properties it markets (this includes One Piece). Some interesting anime I'm looking through. animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=1825animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=1097animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=1097

To be honest, I hated the Pokemon TV Series. I preferred the Pokemon themselves. They were so amazing, and each one had its own background and life stories, like Cubone wearing it's mother's skull and Houndoom being invented to mock those claiming Pokemon was anti-Christ.

Houndoom was used to mock Pokemon bashers, how funny. I'm a Christian myself and I don't think Pokemon is the least bit anti-Christian.
Anyhow, maybe the dubbing of Pokemon has been taken over, but what if the new guys are worst than 4Kids Entertainment? Oh well, I guess time will tell, trouble is ITV haven't aired it in ages. They never treat Japanese stuff well (although they're improving on Power Rangers a bit...)

Not a big Fan of Pokemon myself, but when everyone was into the First Series, I only liked the game. I thought the First Series was boring and didn't like it much, i liked the later series way better. Strange that know, as most Fans preffered the Older Series to the newer one.

Pokemon, One Peice and Naruto teen anime? surley not. Maybe the latter is for older audiences, perhaps pre-teen, but I wouldn't catergorise these shows as anime for teenagers. However, they do attract alot of teenage fans.

You know, some fans should make a Pokemon redub with the charscters having "sound-alike" voices (not sounding anything like the characters, of course, Ash can be Italian, Brock can be a hillbilly, Jessie and James can be Boris and Natasha, respectively ) Then send it to this "Pokemon USA" company.
