Well, at the end of this quarter at college, I should have in hand my Associate's Degree... though I'm going for a Bachelor's, so I won't have pretty pieces of paper to gold-frame until next year... XD
I'm pretty happy, it's amazing that I made it this far XD

Year 12 (Lower Sixth) is now complete for me. I have the rest of the week off, before I begin the next part of the course for six weeks until the summer holidays in mid-July.

I finished lower sixth too, now just starting upper sixth work. its pointless, classes are being cancelled cos no-one is turning up yet we're being made to go in, its costing me a bomb.
And like, I'm gonna be there for three years..so I'm taking on a few jobs in the mean time as I'm not entitled to any EMA.
I'm dropping health and social care and taking psychology and history next year for AS, and carrying on Sociology and English lit at A2.
Starting to teach myself psych now.

Oh don't get me started on EMA... in my school it seems to be the sole reason for some of the pupils' higher education! (Mutter, mutter, grumble...)
I'm currently doing 5 AS subjects (Eng. Lang.; French; Physics; Philosophy & Ethics and Electronics) and it's more than likely that I'll drop Philosophy after my results come back. Electronics is a AS course that we're doing after-school for two years with a massive coursework practical project to tackle - I've decided to make an electronic points system for my model railway!

I'm currently taking an Introduction to Computers class as a summer course.
My class consists of five weeks' worth of lectures, each lecture covering a different aspect of Microsoft Office. The first week was just learning about the Internet, Week 2 was focusing on Word, Week 3 on Excel, Week 4 (this week) on PowerPoint and next week we'll learn Access and have the final exam.

School is almost over for me, but I'm not celebrating just yet. Unfortunately, we have to take our finals during the last few days of school. It's only 2 subjects per day, but some of the subjects can be pretty hard. Some of my review sheets are three pages long with 50-60 questions on each page! To make matters worse, I have to take my history and spanish final on my birthday, which is Thursday. I guess that's just the way it goes. I'm not really worried though. If I study well enough, I should pass both of them. Besides, I get to come home early, go out to dinner, and I don't have to study on that particular night! ^^

I'm graduating High School this month and then i'm off to England after the Summer. I am very pumped!
The fact I got school done is the best though. Did my best in my courses and I got into some schools, I am pleased.

well as of 2 hours ago, I officially graduated high school. For anyone whose known me for a while, this has been a rough journey for me. Now in the fall I start college. But to those who have stuck by me for those years, all I can say is thanks.

School is a maze in which is not easy to get out alive, because the minotaur is bond to get you...one day or another.
My analogy is quite simple, really. The maze of school refers to the twists and turns and changes you make through your journey out of the maze, in school, you make many changes and twists, and turns raising from one grade to another. The minotaur is a Ancient Greek mythical creature featured in the myth "Theseus and the Minotaur," whereas the minotaur a half-bull half-man creature who eats prisoners thrown into a maze. Now the minotaur represents the big whammies that you hit smack in the face in school, big projects due tomorrow, etc.
Sorry for the tl;dring, but I think you get my point that I'm not too fond of school. However, I think anti-education is a stupid viewpoint.

Next year will be my last year of high school. But this summer, I start the search for colleges. i was wondering if any of you guys have any suggestions to find the right school? For example, a lot of my friends say to visit as many colleges as possible, but apply only to a select few. I, on the other hand, think it's a good idea to apply to as many colleges as possible, and only visit the ones I'm really interested in. What do you guys think?

Really depends on what you intend to study and later earn your bread and butter with. Certain colleges and unis offer better subject-matter courses than their rivals.

I got my exam results a few days ago, and I'm pleased to tell you all - I passed! So that means I'm going onto my second year at university. I'm amazed really, as I thought I wasn't going to pass on one of the exams.

My AS results:
Art - D Photography - D ICT - E
Yes it looks bad, but theres hope yet, apparently all of my ICT class' results have been completly mucked up, so that E should go up by at least one grade, and yes I had hoped for Cs in Art and Photography, but oh well, theres still one more year to go.

Despite the fact that people think I'm an ex-con (by my looks). I currently attend high school. Due to it's tuition free I can't afford to drop-out, hmmm maybe I can. Anyway, most of my grades are number grades thus I'm not entirely sure how they compare to everyone else but lets just say eversince I left elementary school my grades have dropped rapidly. It's not that I'm an idiot, I just never turned in assignments or attended classes, until last year I went to a public school in NY when it didn't matter if I was there or not.

Well it's my second week back at college, and I feel glad to be back (Well after the boring long summer, it's no surprise).
Doing my last year of National Diploma in Media, and afterwards I'll probably try and get into the Media industry for a job and work my way up to fulfil my ambition of being a Writer and Director and making films I want to make.
Currently doing some script writting, doing one for a Film and then one for a Sitcom. Bit of luck the SiF-Com thread was made, could really help me out for the Sitcom script I'll be working on for college.
My teacher says if the scripts are any good, he'd get them sent off to various' TV/Film studios and companies. I hope mine gets sent off (Depends how good it is).
