Well i'm back at the dump Tommorow, A.K.A School. Considering the fact that my school is full of Grouchy teachers and Kids who think there better then everyone, I utterly hate it. I was alright before i moved up to comprehensive. Didn't mind it. But that place just takes the cake! The toilets are closed because of little Chavs wrecking the place. Somtimes the burgers taste like burnt rubber. And the teachers give you more homework then anything. As soon as I get back, i'll have a ruddy English Frankenstain essay to do.... At Home....
So heres why I made this thread, (Close it if it's no good). But what do you think of Schools in todays world? Top of technology or an utter rubbish dump? Tell us why...

It's completely awful. About that Frankenstein essay - I really need to complete copying it up into a word doc. from my exercise book.

I head back to school tomorrow. My school has exams coming up. And I have to give two speeches, and have a project due. Not to mention it starts at 7:30 in the morning. So I can't say I'm looking forward to it too much.

There's one thing I learnt when I was at school.............the system just doesn't work. I was more than glad to leave nearly 3 years ago. College is so much better, they treat you for who you really are. Not just like any old s**t.
Still, I'm dreading about going back to work tomorrow. Since I know what they're all going to say to me when I walk through the door....................'Got the car done then? BLOODY HELL, what have you been doing all Christmas? Five minute job, you could have had it on the road last week!' *reaches for the shotgun*.....sorry about that. Got a bit carried away there.

I hated school with a passion. I was delighted to leave and yes College is way better. Shame I only went for a year, I wouldn't mind doing another.

I went back to school today. It wasn't too bad, except for English. We're reading "The Great Gatsby", which my teacher says is a real classic, but I'd rather read the real classics-- the Railway Series!

Well, if it makes you lot feel any better, when you're all off at school, I'll be asleep in bed.
Yes - I did prefer my college life over school life, espically the second year.

Such a pity that's school's bad. Overall, my school life wasn't too bad (I mean there were real crap moments, like really, really bad bits, but I ignore them) and I'm happy it was done. But Uni life is wonderful! 3 month holidays - ahhhhh!
I suppose it will be a mission for me when I become a teacher to make school less crap than usual. Hopefully I can do it!

I'm enjoying my life in college in my Performing Arts course. We're doing a play in January in the college called 'Multiplex'.

I'm glad I graduated last June. Best thing to ever happen, in my honest opinion Now I've got to find a good college...as soon as I set my heart on a career! I'm thinking of either Meterology, anything to do with trains, art...but my mom doesn't like those *sigh* She says I ought to do something worthwhile, like work at a high-end salon or go into the medical field *shudder* Ah well, someday I'll find the perfect career for me ~Elizabeth

Yeah, school sucks. It wasn't particularly bad for me, but I still hated the place. I don't start Uni until sometime mid Feb. It's fine arts so it should be fun, but sleeping all day is nice too...

Oh, you'd be surprised how many opportunities university offers for sleeping all day. In lectures, for example...
(And in one fell swoop, Tom confirmed the student stereotype. He was next seen nailed to the wall with a sign saying "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MESS WITH THE NUS" hung around his neck)
