Why yes!!! (To be said in the highest voice possible)
One teacher I have explains the subject and what part of it you are studying, and then gives you a textbook to copy out of. And what's worse is the book doesn't really contain a good amount of information with which you can pass an exam.
Then I have teachers who are opposite, but just as bad. One is INCREDIBLY patronizing and goes over at least six examples with the class. This particular teacher makes your brain sluggish because of the patronizing lessons, and then the exam turns out to be quite difficult. This is mostly because the lessons have been so easy you'd expect the exam to be easy too. And wow! It's not. So we get stuck in the same group and continue being treated like Year 3 kids.

For the past 2 weeks I have been doing a New Deal Course (has anyone here done one?) and I have finished it now. It is boring but I'm glad I did it and I feel I have learnt someting new. After all it is better than my last job which was very boring indeed.

I've been attending college for 2 years now and it has been way better compaired to my school life. I don't get bullied at all like I didi in school, plus I don't really have to worry about what I like nower days since most of the people I hang out with at college have the same interests as me, just stuff like Final Fantasy, Yu-Gi-Oh! and music. Only 2 other people like Thomas at college so i don't really speack about it as much, well some people would probaly take the p**s out of us so thats why we keep it a secret. One of my mate from college is accually on this forum and his user name is cliche01. The college life is also better to the fact that you don't have to wear a terrible uniform which makes you look a like, I hated wearing ties and blazers and was glad to never put them on again after my final exam back in 2004, I just like wearing my stuff as I feel more comfortable where as a school uniform made me fell wierd most of the time.
College is way better by yards, less bullys & less hassel to.

My school life isn't all the best. I usually get good marks, but most of the time the teachers at my high school hold you back. They really treat you like dirt if you never live up to their standards. I'm glad it's over though, now I have only Grades 11 and 12 and I'm off to whereever.

I've still got a month to go before I start back at uni, but do have a two week field trip to go on from next weekend, up at Ingleton in North Yorks, oh what joy, not! Should really read the books that we've been given to look through before the trip, though seeing as they are exceedingly sleep enducing I really need to summon alot more enthusiasm before I do read them...help!

I went back on 14 August. So far, the year's turned out MUCH better than last year. Less bullying, I know more people, have more friends, closer friendship with teachers, etc. I really hope it's a good year for me! ;D

Well, my first day's tomorrow. Nothing I look forward to, but I suppose it should be better than last year - the only class I think I'll have any trouble with is Chemistry. But most of my friends have the same lunch as me, and my teachers look easy. Only 3 more years of this to go... ATK

*dusts off the thread* XD
Today I went to my college and got my coursebooks XD They aren't bad at all, my first quarter at Robert Morris College looks quite interesting ^_^
I'm taking...
ART 101 - Design ART 102/104 - Graphics CIS 100 - Intro to Computers
Yeah, all easy stuff...sort of, it's never easy XD I'm only taking three classes to start, after the quarter ends I might go up to four. With any luck I'll be out by Spring 2008, though if I move up to four classes I could get my A.D. by early 2008. We'll see...

Have just started back at school after a break of 5 years of studying! Having a great start at the mo tho it should get even better towards November. Am studying Motor Vehicle studies, which also includes motor sport and modding cars! Great stuff. Especially as we can do our own cars up. The trips that they have organised to different companies is also a bonus and hopefully they'll get a trip to Le Man 24hr race organised. Beefy! ;D

OH MY GOD How stupid is this, ok? Tomorrow, I thought I was only at college from 3PM to 9PM, working the dinners at the bistro thing. Now I find out, I have to turn up at 9AM then do theory work until 3!!!!!! THATS 12 HOURS!!! As you can see I'm not looking forward to it And I'm terrified of the 2nd years, my tutor and the fact I've been seperated from the little group I made on the induction days.
