oh god im so offended I may have to stage a protest.. LMAO. J/K. I think some students are just sat in some-ones house and thinking up new things to be PC about, rainbow pfft. Which ever gay person finds that offensive is probably some uber camp fake boy who isn't in touch with himself. uber camp fake boy? What's that? Look at my exes

Camp's sort of "lesser gay" - half gay.
And regarding gotSTEAM's entry - now that is just plain stupid. I can see where the school is coming from, but it's the lawsuit which riles me - the fact that her parents won the lawsuit adds insult to injury.

uber camp fake boy? What's that? Look at my exes Can't really see your exes on this ^ ^;; unless you describe them. Stepneydudette5 Half gay? Is it the same as bi? (Sorry, for being like Percy, asking what this and that term means, but I never heard of these terms before, xD). I would have actually sued, xD. They are being a bit sexest.

Half gay? Is it the same as bi? (Sorry, for being like Percy, asking what this and that term means, but I never heard of these terms before, xD). Camp doesn't really mean gay, as far as I've always understood it. If someone is acting camp, then they're acting in a flamboyant, showy manner. Like "OK duckies, only seven minutes to curtain!" Actually, it really doesn't come across well in print. You know how Ryan acted on that Trouble for James redub? That's camp. It's come to be associated with gay people because of the stereotypical image of a gay man being all lovey and that. Some gay people act camp, but it's not necessary. You can be camp and not be gay, as you can be gay and not camp. Sorry, I know that sounds condescending, but it's not meant to be. Honest.

That actually makes more sense than what I always read into before...especially in regards to James (yay, no more of this "Is James gay?" bunk).

Thanks. ^ ^ ...I haven't really seen much straight guys act like this, like more flamboyant, what I call being a pansy... Kate669 James gay? People actually think that, xD. ...I do question these engines though, some of them, not all. In my "Driver for James" story, I made Arthur have a crush on James. I put this on fanfiction.net and someone suggest I have him like him back. Now, its hard giving up James since I have a tiny crush on him and want him all to myself (not romanticly), so I just want your guys opinion on this. ^.^;

Heh, well I've never thought of James as gay. So I reckon you should just have him tell Arthur he's very flattered, but unfortunately he doesn't swing that way. You know who is gay though? The trucks. I mean, come on, when was the last time you saw a female truck? If anyone's gonna be gay, it's them.

Heh, well I've never thought of James as gay. It may have something to do with the fact Alec Baldwin (or whatever his name was) gave James a voice that made him sound gay. EDIT: I've got a complaint over the way Christmas is handled by political correctness. The Left-wing say it shouldn't be celebrated in case it offends Muslims (and what they forget is that they do celebrate Xmas, I should know, there were Christmas programmes on when I was in Malaysia last year, and I've heard Xmas is a bank hol in Egypt-a Muslim country), and as such the term "Happy Holidays" is used in some cases. And that phrase gets on my nerves. To quote Dr. James Dobson, the phrase is "an insult to [the] intelligence". And where else did I dislike its usage, well, I was watching an ep of Krypto the Superdog last Christmas and near the end, we see a Christmas tree and other such decorations, and what does Kevin (Krypto's owner) say to his grandpa (or whoever) "Happy Holidays!" And I found that that stupid actually. Heck, in the Lazytown Christmas Special, Sportacus says at the start "Happy Holidays", and yet they've got no problems with Stephanie singing "I love Christmas" afterward. And Nickelodeon let Timmy (from Fairly Odd Parents) wish for Christmas to be every day. What's up with that? Answer: hence inconsistencies. And speaking of inconsistencies, a man once wrote into the London Metro newspaper and asked why Easter wasn't dumbed down, and why Eed isn't a bank holiday (heck why isn't St. Georges Day a bank holiday?).

I was going to mention that, but honestly...who has ever been influenced by Alec Baldwin? I'm kinda split on this 'Happy Holidays' thing. On the one hand, if it's something like the characters all looking at the camera and saying 'Happy holidays, everyone!', then that's cool, because they're just acknowledging that there's a whole load of holidays on at that time of year. If however it's one character talking to another, then that's daft, because who on Earth says 'Happy holidays' to anyone in real life? Especially if, as in your Krypton sample, they're obviously Christmas celebrators. If only the real world would do what Clone High did and have Snowflake Day! Come on, a holiday personified by a pirate? That's all kinds of awesome there.

I always say Merry Christmas, unless I know that the person I talk to is Jewish or anything else. A couple of times while watching Thomas, I've heard them use the phrase "Winter Holiday Tree". Last time I checked, it was only used for Christmas.

Hahah, what a brilliant show. ;D Back on the subject of PC vs. Christmas, it's kinda silly... Most people I know, regardless of their religion, don't care whether someone says "merry Christmas" or "happy holidays". I have a couple of Jewish friends, and they say "merry christmas" to people anyway, simply because they know that most of the people they say it to celebrate Christmas.... Of course, here in Toronto, most people are really not that religious. Apart from those two I mentioned, all my friends and I are non-religious.

Eh, people should leave the holidays as they are. I mean in other countries, they don't dumb down their holidays for us, why should we... As with James, I see him more of a 'bad boy' than gay. I mean in Thomas and the Magic Railroad, he is given a 'naughty boy' attitude and voice...so I see him like that, xD. Other ppl do question James, but I think he's more focus on getting himself into trouble and showing off than any relationships of any sort. But I do think he'll get at Emily if something goes wrong btw Thomas n Emily, XD (since he's the second to get the most screentime with her). I kinda question Henry though...xD. Don't know why.

On the topic of changing holiday names like Christmas because it 'offends people', last year there was a huge group of Atheists petitioning to get the Easter Bunny changed to 'Holiday' Bunny, because they didn't want their kids being taught things about Jesus Christ...something like that ^^'
Well, the Easter Buuny doesn't teach kids about Christ, his name just happens to be the name of the most sacred holiday on the Christian calendar. People are weird...PCness is gonna be the end of the world, I swear ^^'

Because the Easter Bunny is a Christ metaphor. Political correctness is ok in moderation. It's not right to offend a specific minority. But the whole "Holiday Tree" thing is going way too far. At least we can choose to say something like that or not. And I'm a little confused about the talk of these homosexual steam engines. I had no idea that trains had any sort of sexuality. Is James really gay? I guess it's hard to say. I doubt it; I think that it was just a poor job of voice acting on Mr. Baldwin's part.

Yeah, just listen to James' voice at the end of James and the Trouble With Trees. Baldwin said the line in a really gay sounding tone. And yes, I would consider James to be a bit metrosexual.

Metrosexual or homosexual, xD? Some of them have to be drawn to each other, after all Thomas and Emily are always together. Some of those episodes are way too convincing, like at the end of Emily's New Route, where Thomas and Emily watches the seals together. So what's stopping boy-boy love for some. Henry and Gordon are always together, I mean Gordon doesn't seem gay...but you never know, xD. gotSTEAM? (Elizabeth) That pisses me off what those ppl are doing. Jesus teaches about love. We could all learn from him. Because some of us don't, some of us are evil blood thirsty ppl who just want to kill for fun, such as those 9/11 terroists. >.< Sorry, that's just my two cents on ppl who promote evil. ^.^;; I honestly don't know how some ppl want hate in the world.
