That's what I meant, Red never had Charizard, but Ash did. Still, Red leans toward the Manga, Espeon is proof of this.

Hey guys. These past few days I've been interested in a pokemon with a very interesting past. Mewtwo. I've been watching his movies, the episodes he appeared in the anime, his origin mini-special, looking up his journal entries in Red/Blue. Pretty much any info I can find about him. His past is so dramatic and almost sad. As cold as he is I can't help but feel sorry for him. He went through so much during development as his origin special and 1st movie showed us. He's become my favorite pokemon not because of his power or how cool he looks, but just for who he is and how he came to be. He's definitely one of the most interesting pokemon in the series.

Yeah. He actually has a background. Every other Pokemon is just kinda "Meh" in terms of backstory. Can we at least get an explanation as to why Dialga & Palkia want each other dead?

I guess Time vs. Space is their equivalent to the whole Pirate vs Ninja argument haha. I barely even consider anything past the GS Generation canon. At least in the anime. Once Ash beat Gary in the Johto League that was the climax of the whole series and should have ended there (I mean come on Ash even changes his trademark outfit! Insta-fail right there).

But anyway yeah like I said before thats why I think Mewtwo is so awesome. His story is dramatic and fleshed out unlike newer Legendaries.

I agree with you, J.B King. Ash's Johto league battle with Gary was the climax of the series, and it showed how far Ash had come as a trainer, and how strong Charizard had become. Taking down three Pokemon in a row (including a Golem and a Blastoise), more than made up for chickening out in the match against Ritchie back in Series 1.
I think the match would have been enough for Ash to win the whole Johto league - that would be a good sending off for the Series.

The anime does have those climactic moments, even though Ash is a pretty bad trainer. I bet Butterfree, Primeape, and Pidgeot are all dead.
However, in the manga "Electric Tale of Pikachu", his Charizard is the most bad-@$$ thing around, he almost killed Richie's, very bloody scene.

Pidgeot, as far as I know, is taking care of all the Pidgey and Pidgeotto against that rotten Fearow, and I suppose Primeape is in the good hands of the trainer Ash left him with. Still, I reckon Primeape and Pidgeot could give a lot of Pokemon a run for their money.

Green Leaf and Red Fire were accurate and nice remakes. I want to run again through Johto and training a Totodile as well.

Well you will, and due to the Physical/Special split, Feraligatr will be even better. You all know all 493 are able to follow you around Yellow-style, right?

Good Lord, this had me in stitches.
It's funny because I think that was his original Japanese voice too.

Your levels are easily high enough, but what are their moves?

Ditch Hydro Cannon. Hyper Beam style moves are awful. If they don't kill your opponents, you're in for a world of pain, and with Blastoise's rather modest special attack, you might not be able to defeat them. If you still have the Rock Tomb TM, I'd recommend giving it to Arbok instead of Giga Drain.
If you don't have it, Glare will work fine to compensate for his below average speed (I'm not sure if you can access the move relearner yet, my FR/LG memory is a bit fuzzy)
Lastly, Try to give Clefable another special attack rather than Meteor Mash. If you have the Shock Wave TM, it'd be ideal. You can keep Metronome if you want, as it's lots of fun, but it can really screw you over.

Just checked out the CoroCoro scans for the new Gold and Silver. Legendary Dogs and Eucine are confirmed, and you can now have 2 key items. I always wanted to fish on a bike...
Anyways, finished Platinum. It was good for a play through.

Your only playing through the story? You should give the Battle Frontier a try.

I wouldn't recommend it, unless you have EV'd Pokemon, and an extremely high tolerance for the CPU being a cheating b*stard.

Sorry, but everyone deserves fair warning. Besides, Gamefreak has actually admitted to sliding the luck in the Cpu's favor, so it's not like it's uncommon knowledge.
