I have just been killed. [Not really, but bare with me!]
One of you on this iSLaND is responsible. [The killer has already been organised] It's up to you to figure out who it was, before any others go the same way that I have...
In this thread it's up to all of the SoDoR iSLaND FoRuMers to figure out who is the killer in their midst. So be you a Poirot, Miss Marple, Jack Frost, Inspector Morse or even Tom Barnaby, can you figure out who is the [fictional] killer on the board???
Clues will be posted every now and then to help you with your investigation into my death, but who will be the one to figure out the killer, and will you be quick enough to figure it out step by step before more lives are lost?
So, where am I? Well, let this information be released; I am surrounded by Thomas merchandise. There are ERTLs of several of the characters, as far as it can be deduced. There are also some DVDs and other Thomas products.
What would you like to know? What are your guesses? Where am I? And who is the killer?

(In character, As Jim)
Alright, alright, I have a bit of experience in these matters. Firstly, I want to have that 911 call traced, that body needs to be recovered so we can have a full Autopsy. I want all the merchandise described collected and taken as evidence, any blood, DNA samples, get as many photographs of the crime scene as you can get. Use a bug sweeper at the scene. Come ON, people, let's MOVE!
I also want my Molecular Nanotech vest, (bulletproof to even Snipers, self-healing,) my cool leather jacket, my turtleneck, my .357 in it's sling holster, and my '68 Mustang.

I can safely deduce that it was not me, Jim Prower, or Clay, seeing how contrary to popular belief, the murderer never returns to the scene of the crime. (Where's Detective Harry "Snapper" Organs when you need him?)

What? Why are you all looking at me?
Do I look like the sort of person who could possibly commit a murder?

I'm not looking at you. Yet. I still need that Autopsy report before I even think about hunting down suspects.
However, I might advise, if you DID do it, you have two options.
1. You give in. Smart option. 2. You get a damn good driver. I ain't givin' in easy on you.

My body has apparently been taken in for an autopsy
SiF has no 'Professor Plum', and the killer is definately a SiF member.
The 911 call [or 999 call...] was anonymous. Photographs have been taken of the crime scene and all the evidence and merchandise collected, despite the large amount of it. Photographs have been taken, and there is a '68 Mustand waiting outside for Fox McCloud / Jim Prower.
The autopsy report will be filed tomorrow at the earliest.
From apparently beyond the grave,
Nicholas.

I suggest talking to the victim's friends and family. Perhaps some of them had motives to kill him. It also wouldn't hurt to search the room for clues.

I think the first thing we need to do is definitely determine he's dead.
*gunshot*
Right..... now, where is this room located so I can search for clues?

NEWS REPORT:
The room was his own bedroom in his house, in the UK.
The merchandise was out of packaging, on the floor surrounding him. Despite his age, he had been a large fan of Thomas and Friends. The death has come as a huge shock. As of yet, no murder weapon has been found, but it appears that Nicholas, or eDWaRDTHeGReaT, as he is know on the popular Thomas fansite SoDoR iSLaND FoRuMS, commonly known as SiF, was killed by a deadly blow to the back of the head.
Family and friends have been informed, and a quote from a friend, off the forum, said the following statement. "I cannot believe he is dead. It seems he was killed surrounding my Thomas merchandise. He was a big fan, and he had so much. It even appears he had a lot of the DVDs twice. I wish whichever Sodor Island Forumer who did this would step forward and show themselves. Shame on them."
The police are currently indisposed, so SiF's own investigation team has been called in to investigate. With the body still in for investigation, further news is to be released soon of this tragic loss.
END OF NEWS REPORT
OK, team, you have that to go on, now please find my SiF killer and uncover his or her motives!

Thanks for the update. Did you get the name of that member in the quote? I think I'll head over to his place for questioning. Also need to know if any of this merchandise, or any in the collection, was heavy enough to cause blunt force trauma. Can we also have his computer sweeped, e-mails from before the time of death?
Oh, CPK...not the way to conduct an investigation. Lucky you missed: I could have you jailed for tampering with the evidence...the victim's body.

The man in the interview was not a Sodor Island Forumer, but you may interview him; we shall refer to him only as Mr Lawson, based on a real person aware of my membership on SIF [who won't mind his mention here on the boards, I'm sure], but I'll not mention his first name, so he has some privacy.
If you'd like to draw up some questions, I'll be able to inform you what his responses were...
Nicholas.

Mr. Lawson, a couple questions, if you will.
How well did you know the Victim? Can you tell me if he had any altercations with any other people before the murder occurred? did he talk to you about having hassles with someone, or someone being angry with him?

How well did you know the Victim?
"Very well. He was my best friend. Although I didn't exactly share his interest in Thomas, we still spoke about the show occasionally. His death has come as quite a blow. Off the 'Island', only me and a small handful of people were aware of his Thomas interest*. But we'd hang out together a lot in college, and out of college, often, too."
* NB: None of these offline people were involved in the murder
Can you tell me if he had any altercations with any other people before the murder occurred?
"Not that I'm aware of. He always spoke highly of the Island, and never mentioned anyone who he never got along with. Perhaps there was a dispute about something to do with the SiF Collaboration Project thing, which he often chatted about. He was very pride of that, and pleased to own a large collection of the models and stuff. I'm aware he was friends with several of the people who participated in it off SiF, too, and they chatted over msn."
Did he talk to you about having hassles with someone, or someone being angry with him?
"Never before have I been aware of any kind of fallout he had with a SiF member. It comes a shock to think they'd actually come and find him and murder him."

Right.
I for one would like the names of all those involved with the SiF Collaboration Project who had direct contact with the victim (regarding the project, that is) on a daily basis, please.
I would also like them to state their movements, in full, on the day/night of the murder, if that is at all possible.

Blimey... if you think you can.
Participants in the SiF Collaboration episodes are:
B12 Ben bocofan Dylan eDWaRDTHeGReaT Iceman OJ stanelyz
Sorry to have to drag any innocent people into this very serious [yeh right] situation.

*Cellphone rings*
Prower. mmhm? Okay, Yeah, It's a lead, but I'm not counting out others.
((These guys know they're suspects, right?))
Not gonna put out arrest warrants, yet. I'd like to call them down to the station. ((over P.M., If they know the game and know what's going on.))
*Gets off phone*
Sorry about that. I do have one more question, Mr. Lawson. Do you know of any suspicious activity the victim was involved in? I don't mean to imply that he was involved or did anything illegal, but people do get mixed up in some serious stuff, even without meaning to. Perhaps he was a witness to a crime?
