I'll admit I still haven't gotten round to watching the Harry Potter films, and so I'm going to go with Lord of the Rings.
Since this Sunday marks exactly one year since Jason David Frank passed on, this one is for Power Rangers and Tommy Oliver fans:
Green Ranger, White Ranger, Red Zeo Ranger, Red Turbo Ranger, Black Dino Ranger or Lord Drakkon?

Oooh, tough one. I'll quickly discount Red Zeo (felt Tommy took too much screen time in that series) and Red Turbo (I stopped watching at this point), and even Lord Drakkon as I've only loosely explored that side of the franchise. I know Green Ranger was the more iconic, and probably had the more depth with Tommy being the conflicted hero, torn between good and evil, as well as losing his power. But I felt the 'losing power' stuff dragged on a bit, made him seem too weak. I felt the un-defeatable hero element of the White Ranger more befitting.
I'll go with White Ranger, though close second would go to the Black Dino Ranger which I loved at the time; no one better qualified to be team mentor, but still having the essential 'awesome fighter' element of Tommy's character. ____ Ummm....

I'm afraid I could never get the hang of Doctor Who, so I choose Thunderbirds.
On the subject of doctors...
William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, Jodie Whittaker or Ncuti Gatwa?

In terms of classic Who, a tie between Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker, with Troughton a close second. In terms of NuWho, David Tennant and Peter Capaldi.
A choice between the two following anniversary serials:
The Three Doctors or The Five Doctors?

The Five Doctors - while I thoroughly enjoy The Three Doctors, I feel like there are parts when it seems more like an episode of the regular series rather than a ‘special’. The Five Doctors just works for me so much more. It has the three most iconic villains in various capacities, and portrays the Master in a more anti-heroic light. The inclusion of the Cybermen also ups the stakes on an emotional level for the Fifth Doctor and Tegan (since they caused the death of Adric last time they met). And what sort of anniversary would it be if the Daleks didn’t turn up even for just a brief cameo appearance? Not only that, but we see all then-five incarnations of the Doctor alongside companions or friends from their respective eras, played by most of their original actors (Richard Hurndall did a fantastic job portraying the late William Hartnell’s former role as the First Doctor) - even the Fourth Doctor put in an appearance - albeit via archive footage, which they cleverly worked around to up the stakes for the Doctor and allies! BTW, considering what today is, HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY, DOCTOR WHO!!!!
Anyway…
Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) or Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker).

The Fourth Doctor is a no-brainer for me. His symbolic teeth-and-curls appearance, love of jelly babies, eccentric, wise-cracking, and strong personality, sublime chemistry with favourite companion Sarah Jane Smith, his speech on homo sapiens from the story The Ark in Space, the "Do I Have the Right?" plot twist scene from the story Genesis of the Daleks, and overall iconic status in television, sci-fi, and lore, hence making cameo appearances in other shows and people dressing up like him. Nothing not to love about him.
William Hartnell (First Doctor) or Patrick Troughton (Second Doctor)?

Patrick Troughton for me. As I think I may have mentioned in another post here previously, I haven't really been able to get into the First Doctor stories yet. I did enjoy An Adventure in Space and Time though.
Christmas Day or New Year's Day?

Christmas Day, as I can't stand New Years (always reminds me of that feeling after you've come back from a Getaway abroad).
Sticking with Christmas.
Fireman Sam: Snow Business or Robbie the Reindeer: Hooves of Fire?

Jingle Bells or We Wish You a Merry Christmas?

I'm going to go with We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
One for David Tennant Doctor Who fans:
Tenth or Fourteenth Doctor?

In this case, Tenth. I'm just a sucker for the earlier DW serials. Also for his reunion with Sarah Jane and appearance in the two-part Sarah Jane Adventures episode "The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith".
Which companion of the Fifth Doctor do you prefer?
Nyssa or Tegan?

Tegan. Nyssa was a pleasant sort, but, aside from her father dying, didn’t really have much of a character arc, or any sense of growth in her relationship with the Doctor. Tegan, however, went from viewing the Doctor with ire, to seeing him as her lift home, to officially considering him a friend - and then willingly allying herself with the Thirteenth Doctor to fight against the Master in ‘The Power of the Doctor’.
Red Dwarf or Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy.

I've not really seen either to be honest. But on this occasion I'll go with Red Dwarf.

Ford. They have done so much more than Chrysler ever did.
Blackadder the Third or Blackadder Goes Forth?

I'm going to have to give the edge to Blackadder the Third, though I like both it and Blackadder Goes Forth (especially for that latter episode).
BBC or ITV?

BBC. And for one good reason: Doctor Who.
Peter Cushing or Christopher Lee?

I like both actors, and both have been in Star Wars. But I'm going to give the edge to Christopher Lee, as this year will mark twenty years since he began his collaboration with my fourth favourite band Rhapsody Of Fire on their Dark Secret Saga (aside from his work on James Bond, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings).

Splatter and Dodge, they had way more character and are actually funny.
