Edward's Exploit. Why? It shows that Edward's not a wimp.

Edward and Gordon
Edward is a great character, there are several scenes that are great fun to watch (the shunting, going off to the rescue, and never mind pushing him up the hill), and Ringo's narration of "A Goods Train! A Goods Train!" is awesome. Plus it has a happier and more satisfying ending.

Thomas and the Breakdown Train
The scene where they show James' brake blocks on fire was really exciting, plus it was great to see Thomas work to earn the title of Really Useful Engine.

Percy Takes the Plunge- Brilliant harbour set, and funny in some parts. Also, a lot more understandable than the RWS version (ie. the track in which Percy rolls off of).

Dirty Work (season 2) vs. Daisy

Tough call - both are equal in the sense that they're really great in building characterization, even if the storyline isn't too strong. But my vote goes for Dirty Work#1. David Mitton's work really stands out here, and we get many beautiful panning shots of the goods yards, as well as the scene where Duck shunts his trucks and waits on the turntable; great music, SFX to match; not everything needs dialogue!

Diesel Does it Again
I find it a more sensible episode than "The World's Strongest Engine". Diesel is more of a villain in this episode. Also, "Diesel Does it Again" was supposed to be the last time Diesel would be brought in to work on the Fat Controller's railway.
