This is a bit of a toughie because I like both and Arthur is a character I like from Series 7. I like the idea of an engine having a Spotless Record, but I think perhaps it would've better said by the character than the narrator and be on a similar lines to Oliver Owns Up/Resource and Sagacity. Whilst Something Fishy does in a way give him that redemption story and its nice seeing the likes of Murdoch and Spencer as background characters than you're usual suspects.
I'm going to go with The Spotless Record on this one, as yes some records are made to be broken now and again.

I'm going for 'Mountain Engine'. There was some good banter between the Small Railway Engines in 'Ballast', but with 'Mountain Engine', we learned a bit more about Culdee's past, and how he tested his automatic brakes to their full effect - a good lesson in keeping one's head in a potentially dangerous situation.
Now then...

I'm going to go with Devil's Back on this one because with No.6 enduring the storm just puts me in mind of stories like Edward's Exploit and Gallant Old Engine. Plus No.6 proves himself from the previous story by putting others before himself first.
