Heavy metal: Seriously, when you sing, you're supposed to sing. Not scream, while being backed up by people playing chainsaws and smashing large objects around.
Songs in which people sing about how attractive they are: Honestly, I don't care. Neither, I'm pretty sure, does anybody else.
Big Band music: I dunno why, but I just can't stand most of it. Some of the catchier stuff is bearable, but most of it makes me want to bang my head against a wall, repeatedly. Maybe it's 'cause it mostly sounds like old guys singing with trumpets and stuff.
Country: Same thing as Big Band. Although this time, it's old guys with Southern accents singing with banjos and stuff.
Most Rap: Some of it's okay, but most of it just annoying. (Although it does make for lots of fun when you're singing it on Rock Band with your best friend after having had several cups of soda and other sugary foods.)
Songs in which you cannot distinguish the lyrics: Unless it has a really good tune, I probably won't like it.
Repetitive songs: Hearing the same thing over and over and over and over is annoying.
Crazy Frog: If I wanted to hear noise like that, I could simply combine the sounds of nails on a blackboard, a jammed dishwasher, my little brother having inhaled helium, and a chimpanzee in some sort of terrible distress.

Kings of Leon & Faker. They've got some of THE worst singers I've ever heard. If I wanted to hear bad singing, I'll sing a song myself.

The music I hate more than anything is trance-type music. The most boring music in the world! How could anybody enjoy anything that has the same note/series of notes repeating over and over again?

At the moment I'm starting to dislike Abba songs, I used to like a few of their songs but my Dad wants me to watch 'Mamma Mia' but I don't want too because it's kind of a Girly type film.
The title song is doing my head in and my Dad is to blame, but my Film School Teacher said to me: 'Don't watch Films or make Film genres your not interested in.'
Make a Heavy Metal musical any day, I'll watch that (as long as it's made well with the right songs).

I don't like Taylor Swift, there, I said it. Man, I cannot describe how much I dislike her music. She claims to be a "country singer" when she's pop for crying out loud! I have to listen to her music on the radio be over played. All the songs are the same if you ask me, it's all about falling in love, every single one, and to me, it's kinda sappy But in all respect, I don't think Kanye West had the right to do what he did on the MTV awards.

Songs I hate:
Weird Al: The Night Santa Went Crazy. I'm sorry, I just hate this song. Too twisted for my tastes... And yes, I am a Weird Al fan.

Whistling. Especially bad whistling.
I. Cannot. Stand. whistling. The only good whistled songs are the theme to the Andy Griffith show...and "Sweet Georgia Brown," the Harlem Globetrotter's theme.

Are you referring to people whistling songs in general, or when used in music?
If the latter, than I agree.

Alright, few here to point out.
Songs in which the singer curses every other word: Seriously guys. Making a statement is one thing, unnecessary vulgarity is another. If you want to curse, at least have reason. Taylor Swift: Okay. Her voice is annoying at best, brain-melting at worst. That coupled with the fact that most of the songs of hers that I hear (courtesy of the radio) are about essentially stalking a boy and trying to get him to be hers, make for an uncomfortable listen. Rap/Hip-Hop: Well, to be fair, some of it I like, such as Eminem, but a lot I dislike. Country Music: Too little variety. God, women, beer, and heartbreak. The four genres it falls into. Hannah Montana: No. Just no.

The latest one of my list, is Justin Bieber.
Oh god I can't stand that Kid, his songs are so awful and what is he... 8 - 12 or something (well he looks like that) and from seeing rants about him (and listening to a small clip of 'One Less Lonely Girl') I can see why he's so bad.

I'm not too keen on Justin Beiber, either. His songs all seem to have repetitive lyrics and I don't see what all the hype is surrounding him.

Train, such a generic sounding bunch these days. Drops of Jupiter (While not a favorite of mine) is much better than their new stuff. Pat Monahan even ruins Kris Allen's 'The Truth' in my opinion although Allen is also just a wanna be Rob Thomas.

I hate Bieber too, but look at it this way, he'll probably wind up like the Jonas Brothers and end up an afterthought within a year.

Well, it's been a year since I last posted here, and...not much has changed. I still hate most kinds of pop - though I've grown to like I Wish I Was A Punker, despite the fact it still makes no damn sense - though I've also started disliking a lot of modern pop artists for sacrificing talent for image (my best case in point is Ke$ha, because she looks like a total...word I won't say). And since I Gotta Feeling was mentioned, they're all auto-tuned now; it sounds too synthetic. Just to say I'm not a jaded kid of the 90's, I'll also mention happy hardcore; it's WAY too dumb and cheesy for me. KThanxBye!

Oh yes, I hate Lady Gaga's music. At the very least, it seems like the closest you get to lyrics with her is a bunch of stutters to drag the song along. I guess oh say, 4-5 minutes is too loog the creative minds of whoever writes her songs.
