Just out of interest, who's are the Sports Fans here? Just to the barrel rolling, Rugby, as those who know me will tell you, is my life! I play it, watch it, eat it (well, not really ). Support the mighty Newport Gwent Dragons (BTW, if anyone knows where we are in the league...do me a favour and don't mention it please ). Play for school and out of school team, which I captain...badly. Im also quite big on Football. Support Liverpool (if yer know the score yesterday...do me a favour and mention it please ). So just to clarify: Which sports you do and who do you support?

So...how about those Newport Gwent Dragons, eh? Yeah, I'm pretty big on most sports. Primarily AFL (That's Australian Football for those of you who don't speak in acronyms ) - supporting the mighty (or not-so-mighty these days ) Carlton Blues. The pre-season competition starts this weekend...still not sure why there needs to be a comp for it - surely a few praccy matches would be plenty. But I digress... I don't mind cricket either. I used to be into it in a BIG way, but since Australia's been winning everything for about 10 years...why have I gone off cricket, come to think of it?

I suppose Whitehaven's a bit of a sporting town. It's just Rugby, though (which I really despise), as Whitehaven RLFC are top of National League 1 or something like that... last season they won their first ever trophy! Nah, I'm not a sporting man, save for orienteering - I love that! We used to do it at school, and I'd always win, because I was the only one able to actually read the map... told you I was a cartographer!

I used to play football for the school second team. (Was never fast enough for first team!) I also played basketball (BADLY!!!) for the school team as well. I played twice for the rugby team as most players played both rugby and football. Was never fast enough when i was at school. Enjoyed cricket too. Only played once and didn't get to bat either! Grr Has anyone heard of Crown Green Bowling? I play that alot. Used to play for the junior county team until i became too old. Still play for my local club and hopefully i'll have a better season than last. I've just got to make sure i don't lose any games in the league. (I only lost one for the third team last year!) I also enjoy snooker too. My Best Man and I used to play every Saturday afternoon at our local club. We used to have some huge competitions. We once played forty five frames in one session! We lost count of howmany each of us had one! We also played squash quite abit too. Unfortunately i kept coming away with injuries to my elbows, knuckles and even my forehead! ;D

Well, I did whatever it was they forced us to do in school, and pretended I could play football or something almost like it at college.
The only sports I was ever any good at at school were vollyball, tennis and badminton.
I like to play darts, pool, snooker, ten-pin bowling, and swimming when I get the chance.

I used to be very good at rugby, but I never really liked sports in any great way.
I do enjoy a game of Ten Pin Bowling from time to time. The only problem is that I keep losing. But that's probably because I used to throw the ball at the nearest politician. Usually Anne Widecombe.....ONLY JOKING!!! Heh!

I grew up (well, spent 14 of my 15 years) in London. I've never been to Liverpool. And I used to go to see 4 league games, any cup finals, and every home knockout match in Europe that the Blues were in. As well as seeing them win in the Champs league @ Highbury and every league game a

I saw Chelsea win the FA Cup from the Stands in 1997 and 2000. I saw them win the League Cup and Cup winners' Cup in 1998. I saw them beat Arsenal in the Champion's League Quarter-Final second leg at Highbury in 2004. I saw them play Man U at home every year for 10 years. And now we'll win the CL 5 times with Shevchenko and Ballack.

Ah...Ballack and Sheva's. Deadly indeed. I'm interested on actually how Ballack-Lampard will work out. We have seen that Lampard seems to struggle with another attacking midfielder (Lamps-Stevie G anyone?). Also interested in how Sheva will atadpt to the Prem. Italian league is much slower than the prem and most of the Italian imports have seemed to struggle in it (Zola being the obvious expection). But hey, I ain't writting off 'Pools chances, we got rid of the dead-wood, Rafa's Red Revelution is comin' along nicely. All we need is Kuyt and someother players and we'll be there up with yer mate, you'll see;) (BTW, hope I don't seem to be pickin' on yer or anything, sorry if I'am. Heck, just be glad your a Chelsea supporter, if you were Everton one, I'd be really diggin' inta yer )

My Fave Sports Formula 1: OK, it has its arguments and strains but it's a good sport, just don't remind me of Indygate 2005. Fave competitors in the championship are Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso, Giancarlo Fisichella, Kimi Raikkonen, Nico Rosberg, Christian Klien and Vitantonio Liuzzi Champ Car: Only American sport I like cos it is good. Sebastien Bourdais, Dan Clarke, Katherine Legge and Justin Wilson are my fave drivers in this. GP2: F1 feeder series, was the joke of the F1 paddock when it started but improvements stopped the paddock laughing and paying more attention MotoGP: Fave motorcycling sport. Fave riders, Valentino Rossi (unlike all world champs, he likes to entertain) and James Ellison. World Rally Championship: Ultra cool of the different surfaces in the championship, modded up cars and great drivers. Football: More of a occasional thing but I support Man United and Shrewsbury Town. Horse Racing: I only prefer top class meetings such as the Epsom Derby, Royal Ascot and the Grand National.
