Bob... I'm gonna be blunt with you. What the bloody hell are you talking about? Nintendo being at it's worst (sexually suggestive-wise) at Soul Calibur II? That statement is wrong for.. well, many reasons... Nintendo had very little to do with the game other than the awesome inclusion of Link, so technically it's hard to say they were at their worst when in reality Namco should take the blame. Not to mention the fact that there's little sexually-offensive material in the game itself. But then again I ain't played it in ages. So meh... Also, Resident Evil 4 has taken over my life.

Bob... I'm gonna be blunt with you. What the bloody hell are you talking about? I. Don't. Have. A. Clue. Forgive my ignorance on that statement. Nintendo didn't make Soul Calibar 2, did they? But they did make that one game, right? With the fat guy, the dinosaurs, and that wierd turtle?

Well, I did say it was a rant. I just needed to vent my frustration in an opinionated manner. I respect your freedom to rant, as long as I get to point out flaws in the rant for my own amusement. Like in this next example from Bob. Sex appeal has been in videogames since the beginning of time. Yes, because we all know those paddles in Pong were just so darn hot. Oh, and those Tetris blocks! Be still my beating heart! Not knocking the idea that there's obvious sex appeal in some games. 'Prince of Persia: Warrior Within' for example. Whilst I too am not usually one for farting humour (Why? I'm not telling you!), you have to admit it fits in with his character. "I'm-a grosser than gross! Waa-haa-haa!" Oh, I don't know. It's just Mario chucking very many fireballs across the screen. Might be a good special attack. As opposed to the Ice Twins, Marth, Roy and Mr. Game and Watch? I admit Snake's inclusion is a bit bizarre (But exciting! Well, I think so anyway), but Pit's appearance is simply another case of Nintendo using their wealthy backlog of game characters. And who knows how Zero Suit Samus will be involved. It could be like Zelda and Sheik in SSBM. I have to agree with the M and AO games being popular. Whilst I don't mind that in itself, the fact that those people often make fun of those who play different types of games really irks me. I mean, I once got laughed at for playing Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts, for crying out loud! Just because it had Disney characters in it.

It's always a bad time to be in this thread, Dragonfox. Aren't Blood and Gore the same thing? Anyways, I can't hate you for hating GTA -- it's your opinion -- but with the 6-year olds playing, it's really the parent's fault. I play that game a lot and I know that it's intended for adults, but my parents knew also and they only let me play it because they know for a fact that I won't reenact things that I've seen on the game. Younger children are more impressionable and thus it's the parent's fault if their kids start swearing, hijacking cars etc. Does our most recent MSN conversation have anything to do with it? To be honest, GTA is really the only M game I play. I play Crash Bandicoot etc. as well. In my opinion, though, people who think you're stupid based on games that you play are even more stupid than the games that they play. You play GTA and you're instantly at the top of the popularity food chain. You play Tunnel B1, a game so old I bet a very miniscule amount of people here will remember it, you're instantly made fun of. It's a truckfull of bullhonkey.

I mean, I once got laughed at for playing Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts, for crying out loud! Just because it had Disney characters in it. Why is that, if you don't mind me asking? I never really understood Kingdom Hearts or it's popularity. I normally would've thought that anything with buck teeth, black spherical ears and red pants would make you bully-feed.

Its a big fat fan-service of a game really. Diz-nee and Final Fantasy worlds come together for a bit of Real Time RPG.
I just dont really like RPGs. Full stop. The last one I got into was Phantasy Star Online and Shenmue. Does Fable count? (He is the cheeriest chicken chaser who ever chased a chicken)
Its the parents fault for buying said GTA game for child. I really doubt that a six year old could buy one. Mind you I don't like GTA either. It gets boring.

I normally would've thought that anything with buck teeth, black spherical ears and red pants would make you bully-feed. Dude, have you actually played the game? It's only because it's one of the greatest RPGs ever, certainly on the PS2. The story is amazing, the game mechanics are fun, the characters are all fleshed-out and realistic (Well, the main ones anyway). The game did what most people thought impossible-make Disney cool again. The Disney characters enhance the game, not detract from it. To laugh at someone for playing it would be like laughing at someone for playing Final Fantasy, or Legend of Mana, or any other RPG. Edit: Oh yeah, IMPO (In Most People's Opinion).

No, I haven't played the game. Primarily because my PS2 is broken.

A simple problem with a simple solution-get it fixed. Hey, at least your PS2's there. Mine seems to be somewhere in the netherworld right now.

Hey, at least your PS2's there. Mine seems to be somewhere in the netherworld right now. Meaning you haven't bought one yet? j/k I've been playing on Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 a lot recently. Anyone here play it? I've got a few downloads for it from the site which allows you to download parks from the original RCT, but there's the odd one or two which I'm having trouble finding. Does anyone know where I can download more parks? Also, does anyone else here hate the new Roller Coaster Tycoon (Roller Coaster Tycoon 3)? I preferred it in its 2D cartoonish style. Now it just looks crap.

I have to agree, Stepney.
In the snows of yesteryear, I played Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. I loved it! Mainly because the Steam Loco ride was more of an engine than RC3's interpretation. (Small with a big coach.)
After I moved last summer, it eventually got lost. It's probably laying around in my room in the old house. I'll probably buy it again.
Do you ever notice, Stepney, that building Roller Coasters is funner on RC2 than RC3? It is. Especially since the post-RC3 hi-tech 3D getting in the way.

Tut tut tut..... I thought we agreed yesterday Alaric, you were to Trash your brothers room untill you found it? Or did we agree not too...Whichever. The inportant thing is.... You find it!
Ah Kingdom Hearts... Found it a couple day ago after it getting lost. Possibly one of the best games I have. Never gets boring as there is new stuff to try all the time. The only porblem is Goofy levels up too fast, while Donald levels slowly, bad for me since the Ducks me favorite Charater. I can't wait for Kingdom Hearts II to come out! I've seen screenshots, its gonna be brill!

Kingdom Hearts 2 looks really awesome! It's out here in the UK in September (I think). The only game I have been playing on just lately has been Final Fantasy X for the umteenth time as I finished Tony Hawk's Underground the other day. I also played on a few demos one of them was Sonic Riders which is quite good but the controls can be a bit of a pain, and We Love Katamari which I think is a load of rubbish the controls are awkward, the graphic's aren't that good and the music is very annoying (you would say the same if you heard Na Na NA Na Na NA Katarmari Damacy all the time). I have also played on Oddworld Abe's Oddysee for a little bit with my mate as that game can be quite a good laugh. Here's a few screenshots of Abe's Oddysee I haven't really bought any new computer games for a while as I'm waiting for Kingdom Hearts 2, Xenosaga Episode 3 & Dirge Of Cerberus:Final Fantasy VII to be released in the UK. The only game I did buy last was Pokémon Pinball for the Game Boy Color and it can be quite addictive.

I've heard of Abe's Oddysee and it's really hillarious, especially the gameplay. I've also played the sequel, Oddworld Abe's Exodus which is just like the prequel, but with more features.
BTW, has anyone heard of Crimson Tears?

For the 1st time ever I have finished Sonic 2 on Master System COMPLETLY emeralds n all. Now I can see why they called it the hardest Sonic game.

I remember that game, I still have it avalible to play on the original system and everything.
Yeah, I completed it with all the Emeralds as well, the hardest one to get had to be the Sky High Zone one..... that random spring cloud in the middle of nowhere..... I used to be able to get all the Emeralds via that one..... I should play it again sometime.
I've been replaying my old N64 games as of late, games such as Diddy Kong Racing, Ocarina of Time (only to see what else I can do after completing the game upteen million times..... other than get killed by chickens) and I noticed that I never did finish Banjo Tooie...... had nothing to do with getting a Gamecube, honest.....
