Yeh Thank god my old Master System still works. I still have every old Sonic game of mine and the systems are still playable. (Last night I was playing Sonic triple trouble in bed on my Game Gear) I find them boring nowadays and just too easy.

Then again some people don't really consider how good the old consouls are. I know many people sell old consouls and then regret it later on. Out of all my mates I'm the only one who still has the original Play Station, I never really saw the point of selling it as I probaly wouldn't have gotten that much for it. I never really had any of the 2D gaming consouls as I started out with a Play Station with games like Oddworld Abe's Oddysee, Final Fantasy VII, Soulblade, Hercules, Rapid Racer and G-Police. Out of all the game that I have mentioned I still play on Final Fantasy VII even though it was released in 1997 as it is still very good and I can get endless hours of gameplay from it. Final Fantasy VII is still my favourite game of all time and I'm currently playing through it again for the umteenth time. The only 2D games that I have played are the Sonic ones as I have Sonic Mega Collection on the Nintendo Gamecube, other than that the game on the gameboy color to the advance sp which are very good.
I have seen consouls like the Snes go for about £30 for the consoul itself, £10 more if you get a 1 or 2 games with it. Also Play Station go for around the same price, this is the first ever model. I saw quite a good bargin the other week of an original Play Station and it came with Final Fantasy VII & Final Fantasy VIII and that when for £60 which some of you may think what a rip off but really it's well worth it as Final Fantasy VII & VIII are very rare to come buy nower days. I didn't need to buy as I already own the consoul and both Final Fantasy games.

I picked up a SNES with a copy of Starwing for £15 once.
I've got 2 SNES, one in the front room that's not been touched for years, and one in my bedroom that's perminately set up.
I picked up a second N64 (complete with 8 games, 2 controllers, memory packs, rumble packs, and a computer joystick.....) for only £25.
I'm looking to sell on the second N64 to someone worthy, it'll come with 1 controller, everything needed, and 2 games, Super Mario 64, and some wrestling game.... I'm not into wrestling, but it was one of the games that it came with.
Keeping up the trend, I once had 2 NES, the second being traded for the Master System.
Think I'm bad getting 2 of each console? Well, I've got 3 original Gameboys, 1 Super Gameboy, 1 Gameboy Colour...... and the GBA, SP and DS.....
Not bad considering you get them cheap when something new comes out......

I seriously need them too- my old Sega Game Gear is DEAD and my old Sonic games are useless.

I got FIFA World Cup 2006 for Nintendo Gamecube just the other day. I'm really enjoying it, but it takes up more memory to save than my only memory card has when it's completely blank! Guess I'll have to buy another, larger one if I want to save my progress.
Other than that the only game I have played recently is Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It's really a great game with so much to do- and rather addicting. And this is coming from someone who really isn't much of a fan of the genre! I could probably play it for days on end without it getting old (unless of course I got stuck somewhere along the way)....thankfully I don't, though!

I have heard World cup 06 is really good in that it has a road to World Cup mode as well. Australia V Solomon Islands here I come lol Im gonna buy it after the cup as is the case with all major sporting events games the price drops dramitacally a week or 2 after it finishes. EG Athens 2004 was $99 before and during the Olympics, then a week or 2 later $40. Here is hoping.

Mirrowind? Bah. I bought it weeks ago and still haven't figured it out. Yeah, I've actually had it for monthes. At first I didn't understand it exactly either (not that I didn't play it) and it was only when I started playing it again recently that I was able to get anywhere. Really seems like a great game once you do figure it out...

My mother bought me a new game for my PSP yesterday for getting a good report at college. She bought me Tales Of Ertenia which is a RPG by Namco. Here's what is written on the back of the cover. Follow the amazing adventures of two friends. Reid & Farah, in the Legendary RPG Tales Of Eternia. : Dynamic real-time combat where you can combine hundreds of powerful spells and enchanted weapons. : Discover the Eternia universe, where the surfaces of two worlds meet, in breathtaking 2D graphics. :60 hours of gameplay & tons of mini-games. Cover artwork Some more information on this game. Tales Of Eternia is the classic PSOne RPG, part of the mythic ''Tales of'' series. This opus offers a gigantic adventure mixing action with a dynamic real-time battle system and tons of mini-games. Follow the incredible adventures of two friends, Reid & Farah, as they battle to stop their planet colliding with another. My views so far. I only started playing this yesterday but so far it has been really good. The grapics are awesome, story so far has been good and the battle system is brilliant too. I will give you a more better review of this game when I have gotten further or finished the game.

Does anyone here have a DS?
I'm determined to buy one, mostly because of one game, I'm sorry to say. Super Mario 64, my favorite game in the world.
So does anyone know any other good games for the DS?

New Super Mario Bros. = greatest current game. I have to admit (and this coming from someone who hates Mario with a passion), he's right. It's a very unique idea and (to a Mario fan) looks fun to play. Now we just have to wait for SACT (Sonic Anti-Christ Team) to get their fingers out their behinds and do something along the lines...

Oh yeah Sonic Team, the best way to brig Sonic back to his roots is to make him human sized, Eggman thin, introduce pointless new characters, bring back Angst-man, and put Matrix reject robots in! Yeah, that's the way to go! I like what Capcom's done to my second favorite series of all time (Megaman) with "Megaman Powered Up!". It's insanely cool in every possible way (Beside the SD look) and it makes me wish I had a PSP...

Morrowind is one of the best games ever!
I've had it ever since it came out, and have many mods for it.

Sonic has been going downhill since the Mega Drive (Genisis to the Americans) got phased out. The only other 2D Sonic games on GBA are useless IMO. Press one direction and whooshka the level is over.
Sonic is just not what he was, he has changed for the worst.
