I met and got an autograph from Jeremy Bulloch aka Boba Fett in Star Wars. Sir Ian McKellan came to my school to give a talk and I saw George Takei in a Pantomime.

Tonight, I got to meet John Challis live on stage in Norwich. He made us laugh and smile and I got to see him in person backstage after the show. I got his 2 autobiographies and he signed them. I even got to have my picture taken with him . My brother uploaded the picture on his account .

The closet I've come is getting a cap signed at Star Wars Weekend at DisneyWworld a couple years back by Dee Bradley Baker who is probably best known for voicing Klaus in American Dad, voice work in Korra, and for Star Wars: The Clone Wars the entire Clone Army. My cat models the cap here. [/i]

Last year whilst on my road trip in the USA I was shown a brilliant BBQ place by my hosts in Texas. Anyway, while there we saw a figure dining at a table on what appeared to be a large family gathering. Lo and behold, it was none other than Jared Padalecki (Sam from Supernatural). My friends and I were debating if it was really him (as he looked VERY skinny at the time), and as we were getting up to leave I go over and politely ask "Excuse me Mr. Padalecki, could I bother you for an autograph?". He replies "On one condition; as long as you don't call me 'Mr Padalecki' again, just Jared". He was one of the most down to Earth, friendly people I've met. Although he was at dinner with (what I think was) his family and in a sling (he told me he'd just had shoulder surgery) he happily let me take a photo with him and had a quick chat with me. Wonderful bloke

Over the past few years I've met a few famous faces as well as interacted with a few on Twitter. The first famous people I met were the Mythbusters back in 2010 when they came to my University. After that I had some interactions with a few online, i.e. Phil Lamarr, Lauren Faust, Junichi Masuda (producer of Pokemon), Akira Himekawa (the duo behind the Legend of Zelda manga), and most recently, Grey Delisle-Griffin (voice of Mandy from Billy and Mandy among other cartoon characters.) Last year I had the pleasure of meeting Colin Baker at Comicon, as well as former TAPS Member Amy Bruni, Vic Micnogna (voice of Ed from FMA/FMA Brotherhood), and even Richard Horvitz (voice of Billy from Billy and Mandy). Last year was also my first trip to New Jersey to meet my favorite band- Steam Powered Giraffe. I've even got photos with them. This one's from last year- first time cosplaying too- admittedly it was a WIP and I didn't realize my shirt was partly untucked- it's supposed to be the TF2 Sniper I went again this year, so here was this year's photo op: This time I was the 8th Doctor- sort of a hybrid between his movie and Big Finish outfits. I also got selfies with the robots at the VIP Dinner. Best weekend of my life.

Last year I was volunteering at Didcot Steam Centre, during the last week before I went back to Uni we were digging up the foundations for the new Swindon Panel. While we were doing that a film crew were setting up in the engine shed for a new tv drama 'Partners in Crime' and I was planning to go home the day before filming, but when I found out 'David Walliams' was going to be on site I thought "I can stay a little bit longer". The smoke generator parked behind Shannon. I did a star jump on this. Sat in the cafe before going home, and had a conversation with one of the extras. This guy was a black belt in karate and he had been an extra in so many big films such as 'Pirates of the Carribean, Thor, Avengers, Captain America, and Hansel and Gretel'; really nice guy, one of the most down to earth people, and he had been hanging around all day waiting for someone to call him to the set. After that, I thought was it such a big deal to get a photo with 'Emily Howard'? But I thought why not... Jessica Raine! from Call the Midwife was there too, she was really sweet. The show aired a few days ago; after watching it I recognised the actor whose character got shot in the first scene, he took this photo... Awkward! Apart from that my summer at Didcot ended with a bang, met some great people and had a fun time working on the site where I grew up, and which has also become a popular place for SiF meet ups in the last few years.

I met John Beard, you probably don't know who he is (he's a TV news anchor in Buffalo) but you definitely know the fictional character based on him, Ron Burgundy.
So you could say that I have met the real Ron Burgundy!

I can rightfully say that I've met my favourite singer: Simone Simons of Epica, and the rest of the guys in Epica also. I went with a friend of mine, and after we had out collect cards signed which we got given during a VIP session with the band, my friend said that I was really shook-up (btw she wasn't kidding). I even said to Simone that she was my favourite singer, and she seemed quite chuffed about it (I even gobsmacked myself but actually saying it to her) but she as many say, a really pleasant person - as well all the Guys in Epica.
Also... who is it that says 'Dreams Can't Come True', because one of mine certainly did.
P.S. For anybody that has me friended on Facebook, pics of myself with Epica that I had taken will be uploaded soon.

I met my favourite author, Dan Abnett, at Warhammer Fest last year, as well as Duncan from the Warhammer Online painting tutorials. I've also met Floella Benjamin and Marcus Mumford from Mumford and sons.
Back in 2014, I was in Swindon and I walked past Hugh Denis with a shocked expression on my face. I did the same thing in 2015 when I walked past Michael Palin in Exeter. I've also seen Gok Wan at a distance when I was in college.

Well, here's as good a place as any for my first post...
Last month, my marching band was in the Superbowl Halftime Show. We were the ones playing in Suit and Tie. I never got a chance to personally meet Justin Timberlake, but he did talk with the band a few times. He's actually kind of awkward at public speaking when not going by a script. We pre-recorded our parts, and got to work with JT's producers.
