Add my name to the Big Brother list. Reality TV shows in general don't do much for me, but this takes the biscuit. Why it keeps going after all these contraversial storylines, such as the stillborn baby incident this year (which the producers even admit they knew about), why can't they just call it a day?
I think everything about Barney's being said. And they complain about the intellect of today's youth? Oh, and Stuart's reminded me of another such annoying kids show; The Wiggles! Gaaah!
One that hasn't been mentioned (is it even still on?); Supernanny. That bloody Jo Frost was so annoying, and it was just the same thing happens every episode. I laughed so hard when mum actually taped it one night so she could watch it later. As Ms. Frost might say, the show is just not 'asseptable'.
Scooby Doo, I agree, isn't great, but upon watching Boomerang, I've found much lamer cartoons of the Hanna Barbera age. Yogi Bear is the definitive king of lame cartoons.
And the last one that springs to mind is Home and Away. Up until a few years ago it wasn't bad, but now they just seem to have far too many disasters, bring in all these new people (usually teenagers who are later found out to be another of Alf's grandchildren he didn't know about). And as has been said about Eastenders, nobody dies. They just come back a year later to boost ratings. "Stone the flamin' crows" indeed.
EDIT: I seem to like complaining. I also dislike certain American sitcoms where the laughter track is far too loud (ie. the audience laugh or clap hysterically at stuff that's not that funny). Dharma and Greg is one such example that springs to mind.

Adding to what I said earlier, there's a fair few children's shows I can't stand. I know we're not their audience, but in our day, at least shows were appealing to an universal audience and weren't too painfully dumbed down.
'Scooby Doo' was okay to start with, but it's gone rubbish now. I haven't seen 'Wiggles' but it looks as annoying as hell. Most adaptations of old shows, which are riddled with inaccuracies. 'Power Rangers Turbo' and 'Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue'. the two worst Power Rangers series. Tommy, Katherine, Tanya and Adam weren't on 'Turbo' for five minutes and then they disappear, two of them never to be seen again.
Dear, dear...

I iind of agree with OSW's points about Home and Away. It is the most farfetched soap. It's getting boring now. Alf and Irene are the only characters who are the only reason why the show is still good. Most of the best ones in my opinion have gone. Plus there are too many corrupt people. We've had currupt mayors, currupt judges, currupt policemen the list is long.

Bratz: Just no. I disagree with the idea of a cartoon that encourages people to be shallow and stupid, and teaches them that acting like a stereotypical rich Californian teenager is the best way to be. I'm waiting for them to do a teenage pregnancy storyline, but alas, they never do. Oh! Did you hear? A Bratz movie is coming out! That should be awsome! (The trailer made me want to jump off a bridge! LOL to the teen pregnancy idea. ) Here's some for me: 1. Lazytown: I undersrtand that children need to get active and play rather than sitting around 24/7, but this is just plain ridiculous! "Sports Candy" (fruits and veggies) my aunt Fanny! Did it occur to the producers of this show that in making a television show that promotes outdoor activity, they're kind of defeating the purpose? The kids will be mesmerized by the bright colors and pink-haired chick and forget all about physical activities! Add to that the fact that the songs are all extremely annoying and WILL NOT LEAVE YOUR HEAD NO MATTER WHAT YOU TRY and you've got a pretty bad show. 2. Boobah: The strange combination of the Teletubbies, what happens when you stuff the Teletubbies in the microwave, and being drunk. 3. Many of the old Hanna-Barbara cartoons. I appreciate their value as "classic" animation, but there's only so many squeaky-voiced animal duos and endless chase scenes that one can take without losing brain cells. 4. Thomas and Friends: Now HERE is a show that I cannot stand to wa- oh wait. How about TV clichès you don't like? 1. Being required to say Happy Holidays when people are blatantly celebrating Christmas or Hanukkah or something. 2. The requirement of all shows to have at least one of each of these episodes: - The main characters either go backwads or forewards in time.
- One or more of the main characters shrinks.
- One or more of the main characters shrinks, and then goes backwards or forewards in time.
I'll probably think of more later.

Big Brother:
If I wanted to see talentless nobodys sitting around and wasting time, I'd go to a freshman college party.
South Park:
Used to watch it, but I don't anymore. Let's leave it at that.
Neighbours/Home and Away:
The plotlines are re-used over and over again, the characters are melodramatic and there's no happy ending EVER!
The Chaser's War on Everything:
They're a nusiance to everyone. It's only a matter of time before their show's axed and they're thrown in prison.
THIS IS MY 750th POST. I'M A MAIN LINE ENGINE....AGAIN!

Here is a couple of the shows that I hate:
Eastenders: Used to be quite good back in it's hayday, but now it's one of the most boring, repetative, miserable, wooden and quite cockney shows that I have ever had the misfortune to view. In my opinion, this is a waste of TV liscence fee and not worth spending on. Even the repeats on UK Gold are quite recent, they should at least be showing episodes from the 80s and 90s
Hollyoaks Another waste of time in my opinion. People have said that it has gotten better recently, but still, the lack of normal-looking and ugly people is quite evident. This appears to be the 'land of the beautiful people back with ugly personalities' so to speak. One thing I will mention (this is quite evident in shows such as 'Neighbours' and 'Home and Aawy') there are some very stupid names in this soap and others. There is one character called 'Mercedes'! I would make a car joke, but it will probably be too offensive! So I won't.
There are probaly more shows that I hate, but I can't mention any more off the top of my head, so I'll probably post more up next time

Now, then, how about adverts you don't like to watch. I'll give a few:
That Basset's Chewy Vitamins advert - god, so irritating! Sheila's Wheels or whatever-you-want-to-cal it - even more irritating. I swear, if I see that advert one more time, an axe will be through that TV screen of mine.
If I find any more, I'll say.

Those ones which tell you that there's a 300% chance of you killing someone if you go 0.1mph over the speed limit, or if you so much as look at a can of beer you're going to cause an accident. That'swhy I switch to the BBC during commercial breaks. The Zafira ones as well, and the Sheila's wheels.

Oh, and there's a few moreI forgot...
Thomas and Friends - Season 8: The show kicks it in the teeth here, a brutal load of rubbish. Even the new Fireman Sam is better than this...
Pokemon: Later Series - There's still the odd good episode every now and again, but nothing quite as good as the original series. Almost everything that made the original show worth its salt has gone. The only one remaining Pokemon of the original lot left is Pikachu. Dear, dear...

I actually like the Shiela's Wheels adverts, although I admit they show them much too frequently. Diamond on the other hand - fairly obvious that they're only singing on their adverts in order to outdo SW, and in my opinion, it's not as effective.
The Simpsons is another programme I don't watch anymore, and I'm very sad to say this because it used to be one of my favourite shows. It's been going on for a while now, and rarely do I laugh more than once each episode. Last episode I saw I didn't laugh at all. If they stop making episodes (which is VERY unlikely), then it'll be at the right time because the film is due very soon, and ending a series with a movie is a pretty smart movie.

Stuart the actor who played Tommy and that actress who played Kat both wanted to leave to move on to other things. The actors who played Tanya and Adam didn't want to leave. It was the creator's choice to axe them. I reckon that actor who played Justin got the sack as no one liked him.

Hmmm, where to begin....
Modern Cartoon Network cartoons: It was alright when it began with the likes of Dexter's Lab, Cow and Chicken, Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo etc, but it seemed to have gotten worse with the newer stuff like the ones mentioned. The style they use is a BIG turn-off for me! Nowadays, the only show I would watch now would be Ed, Edd n Eddy and occasionally Cow and Chicken.
Any 4Kids Entertainment dubbed anime: Not just the edits or cuts, but the voice acting in it is just awful as well as the corny Opening Sequences they created. I wouldn't mind watching any of them in their original unedited format, except for the likes of Pokemon and Ultimate Muscle which I really despise!
English dubbed version of Crayon Shin-chan: I'm not a fan of this franchise, but the dub was truly dreadful. The 4Kids dubs were a masterpiece compared to this!
The Cramp Twins: It's weird and I hate the character designs in it. The Main Theme irritated me as well.
I'll add more if I could think of any.

You do realise that she's only 15, don't you? That didn't stop Emma Watson getting into FHM's Hundred Sexiest Women. And I know she's 17 now, but I refuse to believe that people suddenly found her attractive the moment she hit sixteen. Sorry, off-topic rant. Re Hanna Barbara cartoons, I know I'm not the first person to make this point, but they basically came up with nothing of their own. They ripped other people's ideas off and then, when they became successful, copied and copied and copied.

Neighbours- Never seen it, never will watch it. If you've never seen it, how do you know you can't stand it? I used to rather enjoy Barney when I was younger, but I caught an episode a couple of weeks ago and found it hard to sit through. Agreeing with ATKTrains, it's definately one of those shows that could only appeal to it's target age group, unlike say, classic Thomas. I think Arthur's one of the better shows on CBBC at the minute. At least the episodes don't look like they were animated in the space of a few hours like certain others. It's been on about 10 years now, which must count for something. My nominations... Big Brother - Been covered well enough already. Admittedly, I have watched it on the odd occasion and it just feels like I'm wasting my time. Best to switch over before it sucks you in. Reckon the production company should seriously think about finishing it and trying something new. Tracy Beaker - Possibly one of the worst CBBC shows ever to be comissioned. No likeable characters or storylines from what I've seen. My other main issue is that it's on way too much. Why on earth the BBC give it so much airtime when they've got classics like Aquilla or The Animals of Farthing Wood gathering dust in the vaults, is beyond me EastEnders - Have never really liked this, as it makes for such mundane, depressing viewing. I'd rather lose myself in the sunnier settings of Neighbours, even if that's slipped quite a bit recently. Boobah/In the Night Garden - From what I've seen, the content of both of these make Telletubbies look like Open University.

If you've never seen it, how do you know you can't stand it? Because just looking at the commercials I can tell I wouldn't like it. It would be the same sort of thing if I saw an ad for that 'Fairies' Show on Channel 7- never seen a whole episode of it, but can tell it sucks. Other shows I can't stand to watch: The Magic Schoolbus: The only thing I like about this show is that the bus is alive. Everything else is just repetetive and boring, and I swear that teacher needs a cat-scan. Fimbles: Another stupid-beyond-apprehension kids show. Them lousy mole-looking things with 'magic' fingers and hair is so boring and nauseating it's not funny. Play School: Here's a show that is probably the most popular show for kids, but not for me. Song after song, story after story, cardboard city after cardboard city, it does get quite repeating and dull. Sonic: I never understood what was so good about this show- just a bunch of talking cartoon porcupines and squirrels (or whatever they are) rolling around and fighting an obese freak.

TurboJ and Dragonfox might have thoughts about killing us both, but I have to agree with you there - the games were absolutely awesome, but the TV show didn't do anything for me. Perhaps games are just better than programmes because you're in control.
