I think we're already there Rusty Red Scrap Iron. I'v recently discovered the Voice is now doing a series as children as contestants simply called The Voice Kids. Sounds terrible. People can actually learn from the Postman Pat movie and what child stars like Michael Jackson, Maculy Culkin and Bobby Brown went through. Fame is a dangerous thing especially for children and ezpecially on reality shows were some such as X Factor humiliate people.

I completely echo with what you've said, OJ, because as you say Fame can be a dangerous thing - especially for children, because children hurt easily and trauma from a particular bad experience can take its toll on them into their teenage and later adult years and generally affect them worse than with adults.

Theres this one programme that my Niece watches and it drives me up the wall. Wooly and Tig. The plot mainly focuses on a little girl, Tig, who goes to some place or does something and then out of the bloom decides she doesn't like it. Her toy spider, Wooly, comes to life and gives her a lecture on why she shouldn't dislike this item/person/whatever and boosts her confidence. She agrees and excepts whatever it is she doesn't like as if she liked it all along. Every episode always ends with some random person being scared of her brightly, none what so ever scary toy spider to which Tig yells back "It's only a toy spider!" So, why do I dislike it? Two things. Number 1 The plot. What I've written above is the plot for the whole series, episode after episode. No wait, I tell a lie. they have a Christmas special where we are treated to 'Double helpings" Yippee! Whoever wrote the series must need their record changed as they seem to be stuck in a continuous loop. Second is Tig herself. Now I'm not addressing the young girl playing her. She is a young girl and you'd expect this behaviour from a girl of her age. It's her character that I'm ticked off about. Tig is spoilt rotten and often demands thing to go her way and...sometimes thats how it goes. It's bit like Peppa Pig (I'll save this grinder gear for a rainy day) a character that is constantly spoilt and bossy. Then theres her continuous saying of "I didn't like...I wanted...Yes, I thought(That one really annoys me)...It's only - sorry - IT"S ONLY A TOY SPIDER!!!!...I love Wooly." Another is that she knows from the start what everything is and yet she just straight up decides 'I don't like this now' and Wooly pet talks her back into liking it again. If she doesn't like it just leave her be and she'll sort it out her own way. This is a clip of the theme song which also gets on my nerves. Maybe its ok for teaching the kids stuff about things but I'm sure there are better ways of doing it than seeing a spoilt child getting even more spoilt, right. I could be wrong but thats kind of what myself and my Sister think.

Take Me Out - I've caught this on a few occasions and it's awful. It's cringeworthy and sexist - can you imagine the uproar if the shoe was on the other foot and it was a woman looking for a man? I remember seeing a program with a man who said he'd met the love of his life on this show a year ago and i couldn't help thinking "What a surprise it lasted so long.." - trash tv, quite simply.
Modern Family Guy - Mostly the animation i'm irritated with. The old Family Guy had quite nice animation, hand drawn was it? but in recent years it feels so stiff, so fixed in position and not expressive at all. The positions, models and angles all seem to be recycled and it's unappealing to watch.
There's also a cartoon that airs on Channel 5's Milkshake block called Shimmer and Shine, that i also cannot stand. The singing in the theme is obnoxious and loud at points, not something i want to be barraged with when i'm getting ready in the morning. It's also obviously dubbed with UK voices - some are alright, but there's one character who's acting is so bad that i genuinely think they pulled a randomer off the street, threw them into a recording studio and said "DO THESE LINES, PRONTO." - It's "How in the name of Graham Norton did this get on TV quality?!" but i digress. The animation is cheap as well.

Star Wars Rebels.
Stereotypical series about idiot imperials fighting courageous rebels, two of whom are Jedi. Sadly the writers didn't take cues from other programs like Fang of the Sun Dougram and Blakes 7 aboUT the cost of guerrilla warfare. Thus we see little damage. Only reason to watch is for Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Honestly? I can't stand The Big Bang Theory. I think I would be indifferent toward it, but I've come to really dislike it because of how popular and long-running it is. I mean, it's not very good and yet it gets renewed for season after season!
Firstly, the laugh track really gets on my nerves. I'm not sure whether it's a laugh track or a live studio audience, but either way it's pretty annoying because it feels like they'll laugh at every single line regardless of whether it's actually funny or not.
And that's the other thing. It seems to me The Big Bang Theory rarely has any actual jokes. Most of the time, they just make a pop culture reference, or show a character doing something stereotypically 'nerdy', and presto! Instant canned laughter. Ugh.
Also, I don't really care for any of the characters. Howard is probably the worst one, as he's often weird and creepy toward women, and yet it's usually played for laughs. So, yeah, I can't stand The Big Bang Theory and don't see how it got to be so popular.

Always found this a bit of a weird thread as if there is anything I don't like I simply don't watch-simple I actually do watch Big Bang but while it does have its moments i'm not a manic fan or anything and I don't watch repeats of it as, as mentioned it isn't that funny. I understand not liking something or someone due to a seemly disproportionate popularity vs entertainment and talent (what is Ed Sheeran's secret for example?) but it reminds me of Third Rock from the Sun in quite few ways-a long lived hit with similar canned laughter, unnecessary GCI interlude fillers and fish out of water/nerdy jokes peppered about and while I was happy enough to watch it when being aired seeing an ep a while back could see it had aged badly. To be honest I imagine Big Bang won't be that big of a thing 10 years from now either and hopefully E4 can find a few more decent shows for its repeat heavy schedule in the meantime There's actually very little TV I watch these days anyway but humanity cringing ones like The Jeremy Kyle, Take Me Out and just about any Reality TV shows always get a very quick flick away from with the remote.

Shows I cannot stand: - I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! - X Factor (should have been cancelled after their success of forming One Direction) - Britain's Got Talent - Broadchurch (overhyped and ran on for too many episodes) - Family Guy (Series 1 to 5 was alright but Series 6 onwards is not funny in the slightest) That's all I can think of at the moment. I might edit this if I have any more shows I can think of.

I know it's a channel but I can't stand Sprout (now known as Universal Kids) from 2011 onward due to how they removed all their good shows or started airing recenter seasons of older shows.
Also, Bob the Builder from Season 11 onward. I see most think BTB jumped the shark in Ready, Steady, Build or the 2015 reboot, but I say it was Season 11. I can notice the three strike format and how they removed most of the classic recurring characters like Skip and Trix for example. Plus unnecessary new characters were added with Scrambler and Benny being the last decent added characters. I also prefer the show being set in the town than sunflower valley and I can't stand the new US voice cast from Project Build It onward. Like compare the plot of Speedy Skip (a classic quality episode) to Slow Down, Scrambler! (a low quality episode).
As for SpongeBob, Season 6 was when the show became tiresome. Seasons 4-5 have plenty of quality episodes and this is a reason why I can't stand the post movie hate. Not everything after the movie is automatically bad. Season 9 returned to quality though.

The news nowadays. Its just too depressing. I also don't watch Cartoon Network anymore. I kind of got out of it after Steven Universe became a thing. Not because I thought it was a bad show, but because I could just never get into it. That, and everything else on the network just made it feel like it wasn't worth the time.

Gonna be that one weird guy here, and also don't know if it counts but; Hazbin Hotel. It feels soulless from the original especially it's writing crutching on constant expletives to be its humor. The ONLY thing i can stand to watch in the show is Alestor and the songs, and even that's a stretch, if it weren't for his song I'd be throwing up every time i hear this shows name
