Does anyone else think Mr. Bean is one of the funniest shows ever? I've seen nearly all of the episodes, and own two videos of him, and I think Rowan Atkinson's hilarious. The new cartoon show isn't as funny though, but the movie is grand, and I'm looking forward to the new Mr. Bean movie coming out in the future!

I totally agree with you. Without a second opinion, Rowan Atkinson is one of the funniest comedy genius' who ever lived. And I think that Mr Bean is an iconic show unlike any other.

There's a new Mr.Bean Movie coming out? Cool! Mr.Bean has to be one of my Ultimate British Comedy favorites, the Animated version is no were near as funny as the Original, but still good for a laugh. The only downfall for the First Movie, is that why did he have to go to America when he's a British Comedian,I hope if there is a number two is will be based in Britain, and not him galivanting off to Amarica again. Favorite skecth, gota be the Dentist and were he decorates his house, that Episode rocks! Especially when he's driving his car down the hill and blows up his flat near enough. Saddest moment, when his Trusty Green Minnie gets ran over by that Tank, that part nearly had me in tears, the music was so touching.

I love the Animated Series, it's classic... the Granny's just hilarious, and that cat's so comical to look at.

The original series was fantastic, the movie was alright, although somewhat painful to watch in some parts because you felt so bad for the characters. And the cartoon series... Yech, it's terrible. It's not that it's badly done; on the contrary, it's very slick and stylish, but the humour is just not funny at all in my opinion, when it's animated. Most of the humour revolves around the physical comedy that Atkinson does, and since it's a cartoon, ANYTHING can happen, so it makes the all believable, normal stuff that DOES happen seem less interesting. Sort of hard to explain, but in any case, my point is that I detest the cartoon. Rowan Atkinson's expressions are so funny, but watching a cartoon imitate him just isn't funny at all.

I happen to have all 15 episodes, extra footage and a documentary based on Mr. Atkinson's career in DVD. Mr. Bean is truely a legendary character, and the fact that he drives a Lime Mini Cooper has influenced my interest in European compacts!

I persume that the Mr Bean movie was based on America so it would attract Americans and I persume it worked too as Mr Bean was mentioned in a Simpsons episode. I love Mr Bean. I recently saw a comic relief sketch. I also remember when he went on "Blind Dtae" and Cilla asked him what his first name was and he said Mr.

I loved this comedy myself. This was the first comedy show I saw, in fact.
Favourite eps:
1. Mr. Bean (the first episode) - The scenes with him in the exam room and in the church were downright hilarious!
2. The Curse of Mr. Bean - I loved the scene when he fell off the diving board in the swimming board and lost his trunks! LOL!
3. Back to School Mr. Bean - Hilarious scenes (especially the one when someone pinched his trousers) with a touching moment at the end when his Mini is wrecked by the tank. I nearly cried, as Mr. Bean did.
4. Do It Yourself Mr. Bean - Good party scene with Rupert and Hubert, especially when someone shouted: "Three Cheers for Rupert and Hubert!" The decorating scene was one of the best moments in the series.
5. Mind The Baby, Mr. Bean - An all-round brilliant episode, especially when he uses a teddy-bear for the baby's nappy. I felt nostalgic when he puts the baby in the Postman Pat van, and there was a big queue. LOL!
6. Merry Christmas, Mr. Bean - Mr. Bean's nativity play was one hell of a laugh!
7. Mr Bean in room no. 426 - Another great episode, especially the scene in which he gets locked out of his room, and has to use Danny La Rue's clothes to save him.

It was the "Wind in the Willows" He played Toad. Notice that the Postman Pat van was made with a door so that the baby wouldn't fall out.

The TV show was great, the movie was so-so, and the animated show I've never seen. But didn't Mr. Bean's show only last for 13 episodes? It's a shame.

O.K., Here's the episode list in chronological order. - Mr. Bean (1989) - The Return Of Mr. Bean (1990) - The Curse Of Mr. Bean (1990) - Mr. Bean Goes To Town (1991) - The Trouble With Mr. Bean (1991) - Mr. Bean Rides Again (1992) - Merry Christmas, Mr. Bean (1992) - Mr. Bean In Room 426 (1993) - Mind The Baby, Mr. Bean (1993) - Do-It-Yourself Mr. Bean (1993) - Back To School, Mr. Bean (1994) - Hair By Mr. Bean Of London (1994) - Tee Off, Mr. Bean (1995) - Good Night, Mr. Bean (1995) - The Best Bits Of Mr. Bean (1996) That's a total of 15 episodes, including two VHS exclusive episodes, one of which has an hour-long duration. Guess which ones!

Mr Bean was my Favorite show when I was a kid my Favorite episode was when he was on the train coach when he was covering his ears because some guy was laughing then chuck his book when the porter shouted at him. And when he lost his train ticket he was in a Mail sack and went Moscow on another Episode. That was so funny
