I think Lee Cornes (from TUGS) is involved with the cartoon series. He might be part of the writing team.

He was. I'm quite sure I remember him writing one episode involving building work going on in Mr. Beans street. As for the new movie, apparently, it's been renamed Mr Bean's Holiday. I'm quite looking forward to it, provided the script is kept up to the same standards as the originals; it is nearly 10 years since we last saw Mr Bean (or at least the live action version; I didn't care much for the cartoon series). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr_beans_holiday

Is it any wonder that Canada gets it first? No, it's simply because we're the best country in the world! (just kidding... well not really.) I'd like to see the movie at this point, however I'll reserve further judgment until I see more footage. I'm amazed that Rowan Atkinson looks virtually the same as he did 10+ years ago. Good for him. Hopefully it's not due to botox or anything like that...

In some ways he looks the same as he did 20 years ago. Obviously some pact with the devil has been crafted.

The trailer looks good. Rowan Atkinson can still pull it off as Mr Bean.

The trailers currently showing on TV make the movie look really promising.
I'm glad that a Mini's going to feature in the film. Not sure whether it'll be Bean's or not though, as I remember his got destroyed in an old TV episode.

He could have bought a new one, of course - or had his completely rebuilt at big expense. The latter of which I am inclined to doubt, as there was a fair mess on it when it got crushed by that bloomin' tank.

I think he did get a new one. His mini capers are explained below:
- First mini: Orange - Outcome: Crashed into a brick wall- we don't see the damage, or know what happened of it.
- Second mini: Green & Black - Outcome: Crushed by a tank- we do see the horrendous damage, but we also he him ditching it after taking the locks.
I think we can asume he either bought another mini (and had it painted or painted it himself) or found that other similar mini in the same tank ep, and used that (he did, after all, have the green & black mini in the cartoon series after this).

I have the all the original series on video and it is great to sit down and watch. My favourite episodes are:
Mr Bean rides again(The first one I ever watched when my mum recorded it for me when it was first shown. Me and my sister loved it)
Room 426(Again, I liked most of this episode- especially the bit where he's trying to get past that old lady and the bit with the dodgy oysters)
Mind The Baby(Everything about it is brilliant-especially the 'bumper car'scene)
Back To School(The life-drawing scene, the judo scene and the bit where his mini is crushed)
Tee Off(The sketch where he's trying to retrive the lost golf ball)
The movie(which I've seen in English and in German) is also great.

I love Mr Bean In Room 426: The whole thing is just hilarious.
What's the name of that episode where he goes to the church service, does anyone know? That's probably the one I've seen most.

That was the very first episode, simply called Mr. Bean.

I must admit I haven't seen Mr. Bean since 2006 but I am really looking forward to the movie at the end of the month. I've been meaning to get the third DVD but have never come round to it.

Mr Bean was on the news today. He was paying a visit to Bondi Beach as part of a world tour to promote his new movie.
He rode his bike along the boardwalk, went for a swim, and was even given a can of baked beans by one of the lifeguards.
The movie's Aussie release date is the 29th of March, I can't wait!

I thought perhaps I ought to post my review on 'Mr Beans Holiday'.......
IT'S FANTASTIC!!! Although it's been 10 years since his last venture as the bumbling, silent funnyman, Rowan Atkinson hasn't lost the touch. This film had me laughing throughout and brought back many of the fond memories I had watching him as a small boy. Bascially, this film is has all the characteristics of any Mr Bean film. It's well worth viewing!

I can agree with you there, ChrisTE. It was better than I thought it would be. I'm glad Mr. Bean hasn't been affected by the modern over-the-top Political Correctness - that made for a cracking film.
