Regarding Rainbow being shown on Nick Jr Uk: You'll be able to watch Rainbow from March 6th 2006 every night at 8pm on preschool channel, Nick Jr. (Sky channel 606, Telewest 715 and NTL 71/608) as part of the 'Nick Jr Classics' slot. Ant from Nickelodeon: 'The episodes we're showing are from 1981, which I believe is series 20. There are some brilliant episodes there - and some fantastic songs from Rod, Jane and Freddy too!' Can't wait, this will be the first time classic Rainbows have been seen on television since 1992!! Oh God no! They've replaced Thomas on Nick Jr Classics! Oh well, Rainbow's good for a laugh (if you know what I mean).

I used to watch Rainbow in school on vids when I was 4 or 5 years old. Good to see it's back on the tv. Does anyone know there's an episode of Rainbow where Zippy swears? It's on this site, jsut scroll down the page a little. You'll need Realplayer though: 625.uk.com/sh1t/index.htm

Who remembers a show called Dog City. It made by the Jim Henson company. The main character was called Ace Heart and there was a cartoonist called Elliot Shagg which I can see laods of people poking fun of that name. And people poked fun at Captain Pugwash.

I'm sure I remember something like it. If not, then it's something else. It's really annoying me because it's some obscure program about dogs, and I can't remember what it is.

Dog city was live action and animation if that helps.

Ah yes, I do remember this. It's not the exact program I'm looking for, but I do remember seeing this program in question. I found it hilarious.

'Titus' was such a funny show. I don't know why Fox canceled it, along with Andy Ricter Controls The Universe and Kelsey Grammer Presents The Sketch Show. Anyone ever seen any of these shows?

I remember there being a show called "KABOODLE" long ago - a programme with random/various episodes on it, from live action to animation. It used to be shown on Channel 4 and had a short run on ITV2, if memory serves. It was definatly an Australian Show, so do any of our Down Under Mates remember seeing this programme?
And seeing as I'm posting here, does anyone in the UK remember a BBC Programme called "Wishing"?

Ooh! That was a very good show if I recall correctly! I used to rent videos of it all the time from Blockbuster! And I'm considering buying some videos of it, second-hand... The main writer and one of the developers of that show wrote a book I own called "How to Write for Animation", and he discusses that show quite a bit in it. ;D Pretty interesting stuff. Anyway, yeh, that was a good show. Most shows about well-known characters as babies turn out awful (Yo Yogi, Flinstones Kids, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, etc...) Oh, and oj! I LOVE Dog City! I recently bought a used video with the first two episodes of the series on it, and remembered how great it was! That show was hilarious, and the voices were really good too. It was cool cause it involved Muppets AND animation! ;D The theme song was super too.

A few interesting notes on Postman Pat.
Today's episode Postman Pat Goes Under Cover saw the return of his post bus from the classic 1991 special episode. It was repainted yellow and black to become the school minibus.
Also, in a few weeks there's an episode coming up called Postman Pat And The Magic Lamp in which "The children make a wish they regret". Sounds better than the Thomas episode of a similar name already ;D
