CPK - you liked the Shoe People! I liked that show too but, strangely, you're the only person apart from me who I've ever heard talk about it.
I also liked Alvin and the Chipmunks and does anyone remember "Captain Planet"? I used to love that too.
On an unrelated note, how do you quote things from other people?

Mike I do remember Captain planet. I used to like that as a kid. I found some clips on the Internet and the animation was awful in my opinion. It's kinda funny I didn't notice that when I was a kid. About Shoe People, I was looking for a episode guide with synopsis, the other day but I couldn't find one.

I love Alvin and the Chipmunks! My favourite is the feature-length movie from 1987, "the Chipmunk Adventure". It's so good! I've also seen a bit of Captain Planet in reruns, and it seemed alright.

Excellent news! Series 4 of Postman Pat begins on 31st December on CBeebies. They're showing two new episodes daily. First at 1pm and then repeating them again at 4pm.
The first two new episodes revealed (thanks to Radiotimes.com) are:
Postman Pat & The Big Red Balloon: Pat takes a ride in a hot air balloon.
Tricky Transport Day: When Pat's van breaks down he has to use lots of different vehicles.
The latter certainly sounds like it'll be a classic episode. Forget Christmas, I can't wait 'til the new year now!

Huxley Pig? Brilliant! I loved that series, it was very funny. For those who don't know, Huxley is about, well, a pig called Huxley who, with his friend Sam Seagull, go on holidays and apply for jobs, whilst trying to avoid the 'rotten rodent' Horace. Other characters included Vile Vincent, a Dracula Pig, Sidney Snake, who wears a Tommy Cooper hat and talks with a lisp because he had his fangs removed and Cuddles, a massive green monster. For a wierd reason, they always deal with currency issues in the programme too, which were usually the funniest bits. 95 pence EACH?! Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy the boat?

1. Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends 2. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers 3. Superted 4. Ivor the Engine 5. Postman Pat (the original series) 6. Fireman Sam 7. TUGS (even though I only saw 3 episodes of it.) 8. The Masked Rider 9. Pokemon (anyone remember the old series of this?) 10. Stingray 11. Thunderbirds
BTW, Chris, have you any link for the Postman Pat redubs you did? (sorry for going slightly off topic.)

I always regard "Peanuts"(Snoopy) as my favorite Number 1 TV show. Do any of you like Peanuts, too?

I never really found Peanuts to be all that funny, and the animation is far from fantastic (although it has a charm all its own), but for some reason I really loved it when I was little. The original comic strip never entertained me that much, so maybe it was the music, and the stories (stories in the comic strip were generally short and simple). I think the original specials and movies from the late 60's-early 70's were the best; "A Charlie Brown Christmas", "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" and the movie "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" are my personal favourites. The music in that first movie is really nice, and the ending always makes me cry-- Poor Charlie Brown. It's kind of unusual that they always used real kids to do the voices, meaning that every few years the cast would have to change due to puberty. Again, I found the original cast to be best suited to the characters. Here in Canada, on YTV, they used to show ALOT of Peanuts-- The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show regularly, and whenever they had an excuse they'd show one of the specials or movies. Teletoon shows the later movies, too, and I have all four of the movies recorded on VHS, as well as many specials.

And the original cast did the best job. I also love that show 'Histeria!' and I learned so much, too. You guys know this show?
