Hmm... I think you're right, EdwardtheGreat. Now that I think about it, "Lady Hatt's Birthday Party" makes more sense.

LHBP is correct; seeing as no one else has taken the handle, I'll give it another shot:
1. The story sees the return of three characters, who played no role in any of the stories in the previous series 2. The episode shares similarities with a Series 3 episode 3. One engine has two accidents in three minutes 4. We venture into a location which houses two rather gruesome characters introduced in the previous series 5. The story is the first of several to be linked, by nostalgic children's TV fans, with phrases such as "Good Grief" and "Oh Crumbs!"

It is 'Twin Trouble'? Number 3 was the one that led to this choice, and the others seem to fit with it. However, I don't understand the last clue.

Twin Trouble is correct. As for the last clue...the episode was one of several TTTE episodes written by Brian Trueman, who wrote a large majority of episodes for the classic childrens cartoon, Danger Mouse, which features such catchphrases as those mentioned. It was a slightly obscure clue, I'll agree, although I felt there'd be a few members familiar with the reference.
Anyway, I've had two turns; someone else take the baton!

*yoink* 1. Knapford features prominently in this episode. 2. A case of mistaken identity leads to one engine's humiliation. 3. Three characters introduced in the previous episode all feature again. 4. Water is used as a threat, not a reward such as a washdown or drink. 5. Apparently, a false belief created due to events in this episode is still ongoing. Stuart is right, it is Wrong Road.

Would that be 'Wrong Road', per chance, clay?
1. First new diesel with a kind personality is introduced since Series 4.
2. He seems to have an interest for maritime, and a skill of handling trucks.
3. Two engines become jealous, one does not.
4. The two jealous engines attempt the newcomers' way of handling trucks, to no avail.
5. The new engine proves his worth, and all ends happily.

I know that one. It's Salty's Secret.
1. This episode introduced two new engines.
2. There was another story that was meant to go before it, but it was never finished.
3. The US title for this episode is the names of the two engines.
4. One of the characters was the first of its kind to have a speaking role.
5. The same character is (supposedly) killed off at the end of the story.

That's Harvey to the Rescue. 1 - Excepting a small cameo, as many non-rail characters appear as do engines. 2 - One of the engines develops a fascination with what they can't see. 3 - Another featured engine is more sensible than they normally are. 4 - The docks are the main setting for the episode. 5 - The title of the episode is a colloquial term for being lost or confused.

Oh, I've got it. It's "Duncan Gets Spooked".
1: This episode takes place at a location unique to the series (in other words, it was never used before, or again). 2: Two engines make a reference to an incident they each had the previous season. 3: A reference to a future episode is also made. 4: Part of the story takes place in the dark. 5: According to a statement said in the episode, the starring engine is NOT a wise one.
