The snow mobiles purred to a stop about three-quarters of the way up the mountain. Conditions were terrible. The wind was so strong, it had caused a tear to trickle from Great's eye, only as soon as it had emerged from his tear duct and began rolling down his face, it had frozen to his skin. He tried to wipe it off, but he could not. It felt like it was burning away at his skin. Great tried his best to ignore it and carry on. The mobiles stopped just outside an old, large wooden house. "Guns at the ready," bellowed Wittmann above the screaming blizzard. They all prepared their guns, each pouring some of the Anti-Freeze over it. In an attempt to prove that Wittmann's trick worked, Stark fired a shot. It narrowly missed Wittmann's foot. Wittman gave a scowl at Stark. "What? Jeez?" growled Stark with a disgusted look. It was lucky the wind was so loud, otherwise Wittmann might have actually heard him. Wittmann trudged up to the house and opened the door. It creaked slowly open. The creak began to turn into an eerie whine, and soon it become a piercing squeal as Wittmann slowly inched it open. A man sat in a rocking chair, with a double barrelled shotgun in his hands. He was facing away from his intruders. Wittmann glanced back at the others for a second. Doe. Diamond. Oates. Stark. Jones. They all exchanged the same glance with Wittmann. He looked back into the room. "Are you the Wolf Khan?" questionned Wittmann. There was no reply. "Are you the Wolf Khan?" repeated Wittmann. "Yes I am," came the reply of a deep slow voice. "I have some questions for you," began Wittmann. " I have a question also," stated John Doe. Everyone looked at Doe. "And what would that be?" asked Stark. " That would be: where exactly is your man Colonel Great?" responded Doe. Wittmann looked up. He jumpily gazed at one person from the next, and indeed Great was missing. Wittmann leap towards the door and bashed his way through it. Great was right there. His hands on his head, and there with him were two men with guns Mikal and another of the bounty hunters. Back on the Sudriana, Hughes was sitting in the Commadore's command seat. He was reading through a report on the damage to the Sudriana and how repairs were progressing. Suddenly, a console beeped from behind him. Tactical Officer Lawson was at the post. "Report, please, Lawson," called the Commadore. "It appears a few small vessels are approaching the Space Station Crusby," said Lawson. "What vessels?" asked Hughes. "They appear to be small Earth ships, sir," replied Lawson. "Do they appear hostile?" enquired Hughes. "They do have some weapons, but they do not appear to be charged." "I'm sure the Crusby has things under control," murmured Hughes. "The Crusby is, however, an easy target," called Lawson. "How so?" questionned Hughes. "They had their weapons grid took offline yesterday for repairs. Plus the obvious fact that they are docked. They cannot maneuver from any weapons fire should they come under attack," explained Lawson. "Open a channel to the Crusby," demanded the Commadore. "Very well, Sir," responded officer Lawson. "Crusby. Good day," began Hughes. "To what do we owe this pleasure?" asked the officer in charge, Commander Merrin. "Are you expecting visitors?" asked Hughes. "No. But we are aware of the ship approaching us. Do you know anything about this?" "Afraid not, Merrin," came Hughes's reply. "SIR!" interrupted Officer Lawson. "They're charging weapons!" The small Earth craft opened fire on the Crusby. "We're taking minimal damage. Merely a scratch," boasted Commander Merrin. "Hold on, there's an incoming transmission..." Merrin opened the channel. "I am Markus from Portatian. Prepare to be boarded!" "As if," chuckled Merrin, but the frequency had already been cut off. "I'll allow them to dock," said Merrin, "but we've got a few tricks up our sleeves." Merrin closed the channel with the Sudriana. Markus's craft docked with the Crusby. He clambered out of the vessel with his men. He was welcomed by a solid metal door. "What is this?" asked Markus. Before his men could respond, gas began seeping out of the vents in that part of the corridor. It was a trap. They had been sealed in, and knocked out! "We'll take care of them now," said Merrin re-opening the channel with Hughes. "Chuck them in the brig, and they'll face a court marshal." "Good work Merrin," complimented Hughes. "Speak again soon," and they closed the channel. "Get on the line to Great and the others. If people are attacking the Crusby, then they could be in trouble, too," yelled Hughes to Tactical Officer Lawson. "Ah brilliant!" grinned Mikal. "Here's another one on the list." He was talking about Wittmann. "They're armed. They... caught me off guard," yelled Great. Then, Wittmann and Great heard a growling. "What's that?" asked Mikal. "The wolves, and it seems like they're hungry for our guests," replied the second man. "Well, Góra*, we don't need them alive. We'll... leave them to the wolves," chuckled Mikal. Mikal and Góra backed off. Wittmann and Great were surrounded by five wolves. Inside the small cabin, Stark approached Wolf Khan. "So? Using the technology from a crashed Earth ship, incorporating into the animal's head, and sending transmissions to it's brainwaves. Very clever. I'm surprised I haven't had an idea similar to it previously," boomed Stark breaking the silence. He noticed some cards on the table. The top card was the ace of spades, and it appeared the game had been won. "Playing alone?" chuckled Stark. "Sign of craziness that, I expect." "You... hypnotised the wolves to kill? Why?" asked Jones. "The money," replied the Wolf Khan. "It's what I do. I'm a hired hit man. A bounty hunter. And those wolves are programmed to kill anyone on my list. Otherwise, anyone that they wish. That chip turns them rabid and I can send my orders through signals to that chip, which enhances their agression whenever it sees anything the chip recognises as a target. Before those wolves were reeasonably timid of humans." Back outside, Wittmann and Great backed towards a snowy cliff. "Any ideas?" asked Great. "None. Oh gods. Torn apart by wolves. Not the most honourable of deaths," sighed Wittmann. "I bet the Wolf Khan programmed those chips so the wolves would try to kill us." Then... an idea! "That's it," cried Great. He fumbled in his breast pocket. "Where is that cursed thing?" "Great?" asked Wittmann. Great rummaged some more, befor revealing... his frequency probe. He aimed it at one of the wolves. The chip chimed and fizzled, and the wolf, somewhat confused and alarmed looked around before dashing off into the bushes. "That's brilliant," remarked Wittmann. Great aimed the probe at each of the chips until the timid wolves were not longer a threat and pounced off into the frosty forest. ================================================= * Góra is Russian for Mountain If anyone fancies finishing off and tying up the loose ends, feel free to. I've got a couple more ideas for episodes, but if anyone wants to put another one forward first, mine can wait. The first one I have planned is a two parter, so maybe another single episode before we start that

OCC: It's Markus, with a K. Only little error. ================================ Merrin took 5 men with him to check on Markus and the 6 other men inside. As he opened the door, he saw Markus rise and put a bullet right into his head. The other 5 attacked but Kriker shot them all down. As the Hunters readied themselves, they opened the doors to let 266 more Hunters in. Markus: Kill everyone on board. The Nebs are paying 100000 Creds for each dead crew member. They all nodded and did a search throughout the ship, killing everyone. On the bridge, Rebecca had sealed herself in with several guards. She was trying to contact Oates. Rebecca: Damn! Where is he?! An explosion. Mikal and Gora entered, followed by Markus and Kriker. The guards were forced to surrender and they sealed the door behind them. Rebecca: Bastards...what is this? Markus: Nebs got bountys out little lady, we need your friends. Kriker: Hughes, Wittmann, and Great... Rebecca: Good luck, those three are the top members of the Sudriana! They won't give in! Markus snapped his fingers and Kriker gave him some rope and tape. Markus: Oh they will sweetheart, they will. Kriker and Gora began tying up the crew while Markus used the Station's comm to check on the other Hunters. So far 214 Crew Members had been captured. The Nebs would like this. Markus: Mikal. Any word from Khan? Mikal: No Sir... Markus: Right, I need you to go and give those Sudriana bums the message. Markus and Mikal looked at the bound and gagged Rebecca. "We have something they might want..."

Wittmann and Great ran over to where the rest of the Squad was
Wittmann: "d**n it. we to take all three of them out at the same time Great: "plan?" Wittmann: "making it up as i go along...."
Pulling a flash-bang grenade from his bag Wittmann hurled it at the bounty hunters shouting "HEY! CATCH!
The Wolf Khan who was dumb enough for the trick grapped the grenade
Wolf Khan: "Whats this? Góra: "DROP IT FOOL!"
Wittmann: (To great) "Get down fool!"
The grenade went off with a blinding flash, the three bounty hunters stumbled around blindly, Throwing his Knife over to Great the two ran over and stabbed the two of the Bounty hunters. only the Wolf Khan remained, Wittmann ripped the Helmet off of him and booted the 'dethroned Khan' into his house.
After releasing everyone Wittmann checked the dead bounty hunter com device
Wittmann: "Great...I think.... theirs a bounty on you, me, and Hughes. Great: "What??" Wittmann: "We need to move"
*****later*****
Halfway down the Mountain Stark's com device started up. it was Hughes
Hughes: "STARK!" Stark: "y...es Sir!" Wittmann: "put him on the portable Holonet. he sounds mad Hughes: "The Crusby's has been taken over! We need you lot to board her and stop the threat!"
END OF LOG 4
______________________________________________________ DO YOU HAVE YOUR BOARDING PASS? [aka LOG 5]
The Space Station Crusby has been taken over. The only one who can stop the threat are the crew of the SSS!

ZERG RUSH KEK KEK KEK! NO! NO! NO!

Hughes had given control of the operation to Wittmann who had experience in this field of operation. Wittmann had swapped out his bolt action rifle for a FN Minimi (Better known as the SAW) and a Micro Uzi, Wittmann, Stark, Oates, Great, and Jones were getting ready to board the Crusby
Wittmann: "Strap that Battle Armour on real tight Stark!" Stark: "Why are we wearing this stuff?!" Wittmann: "Because it'll save your life sometime Stark! Saved mine when I confronted Takeshi!" Great: "Why Are you in charge?!" Wittmann: "Because I won a Victoria Cross with bar for doing this sort of thing!" Great: "Really? A VC? how?" Wittmann: "I rescued a few people from a ship much like this with the SAS, Special favor for them. Great: "whoa......" Stark: "Hang on a minute!? I never heard anything about this in school!
Wittmann: "I joined the Army under a different name........Rommel it was I think..........Think back to your History lessons" Great: "Not the Rommel from the Second World War..." Wittmann: "No.......that would make me Impossibly old. Try around 2015" Oates: "I heard about some sort of 'super soldier' by the codename Rommel at that time in several war zones" Stark: "now that you mention it......." Great: "I saw a picture of some soldier in a museum, by the name of Rommel. I remember he looked like you Wittmann, only without the scar..."
Suddenly it hit the Four of them Great/Stark/Jones/Oates: "The Michael Rommel!!?!"
Wittmann: "Oh Drat...... bugger....... I've been rumbled haven't I?.....I suppose its only fair if I tell you guys........yeah I'm Michael Rommel, after...........something happened............I joined the French foreign legion and changed my nationality to German and my name as well, I buried myself so deep i thought no person would be able to find me...........Wittmann and Rommel where famous German soldiers long ago, so i choose their names, it seemed fitting at the time.............Really my name's not even Wittmann....I forgot my old name long ago......................."
Great: "wow......" Stark: "Really........" Oates: "by the gods!" Wittmann: "Enough of this! We'll have a moment later. Jones, Great get the wielding gear...." ***A short time later*** Wittmann: "Gas masks on!"
In the one boarding ship that the SSS had. the crew pulled their their Gas masks on Wittmann: "Burn the door." Jones and Great started to cut through an outer door. when they were done Wittmann (or 'Rommel'?) kicked the door in. Stark threw in a gas Grenade. Wittmann: "Mind the gap!" Wittmann lead the charge in, gunning down three surprised bounty hunters on the way in.
Wittmann: "Standard SAS Tactics! Fan out and follow behind me! search the rooms!
Wittmann strode thought the gas like a merchant of death, His already terrorizing visage made more Fearful by the gas mask.

OOC: Lol, liking the title Background on the characters helps to develop each of their personalities, so I'm all for it. As for Great's background, I'll keep the mystery for now, plus I can't really think of much, as to why he was recommended by the SiF HQ, but I've no doubt I'll come up with something that does not disappoint in due time ====================================================================== SMASH! The door flew open spontaneously... Great stood there, inspecting the interior of the room cautiously. No one. Not one person nor their shadow was in the room. Jones booted another door with a swift kick. It was the same story. "I'll carry out an interior scan," whispered Wittmann. A large panel was glowing on the side of the wall, showing a cutaway of the deck. Wittmann pushed some buttons and the display changed. The display changed to show the various positions of all the life signs on the ship. "They seem to have been taken to one of the cargo bays on the lower decks," murmured Wittmann to the others. "Then..." put in Great, "... I take it that's where we're going." "Yup," sighed Wittmann. "Next stop Cargo Storage 12." Elsewhere, on the SSS, Hughes sat in his Commadore command seat. Never before had it felt so uncomfortable. Hughes shuffled. He was nervous about the Crusby and how his men were doing. Should he have sent more teams? Would Wittmann be able to handle this alone. He hoped that Stark wouldn't try anything stupid. "I'm sure they'll be fine, Sir," Derek J. Rimmer had broken the silence. He was manning the Operations station. Despite the fact that he couldn't push any of the buttons, he was stored inside the main computer's vast information matrix. Rimmer's physical motions could send electronic messages to the correct part of the computer so that it was as good as him actually pressing the console himself. Rimmer didn't necessarily have to think about doing this, it is just a standard protocol that all holograms have so they can operate stations and still play a role in the crew. Rimmer had asked this question because he could see the obvious anxiety that Hughes was going through. "Yes. I'm glad that Doe isn't with them anymore, though. He's back on the Sudriana. He's still under tabs from the security teams," replied Royston. "Still suspicious of him?" enquired Derek. "You bet. Even before the Reaper Incident I gave the order for him to be kept under surveillance," nodded the Commadore. "Message coming through, Sir," called Tactical Officer Lawson, still at the Tactical station. "From who?" puzzled the Commadore. "From the Crusby," Lawson slowly responded. "Our men?" pondered Hughes. "No. Not even Wittmann can take over an entire Space Station that quickly! And none of them are stupid are enough to send out a message when those intruders are going to be on high alert." "It must be the intruders themselves," said Rimmer. "What can they want now? They've already got an entire Space Station, well, maybe not for much longer..." mumbled Hughes. "Maybe they've found our men?" suggested Lawson. "Doubtful," replied Hughes. "Wouldn't they have raised the intruder alert when they boarded anyway?" asked Lawson. "Nope. It would have already blaring away due those couple of hundred people already bursting in," explained Hughes. "Let's hear what they have to say, then." Derek 'pressed' a couple of buttons. A rough, unshaven, weatherbeaten face appeared on the holonet. "What do you want?" grumbled Hughes. "That's simple, Commadore. We want you. You're on our list," yelled Markus. "List?" pondered the Commadore. "We are bounty hunters. We want you, Great and Wittmann. Immediately," roared Markus. "Now, now, say please!" teased Hughes. "Do you honestly think we're just going hand him over?" put in Rimmer sarcastically. "No. If you don't, the little lady gets it," grinned Markus. Commander Rebecca Diamond was tugged into view on the holonet. "And with every five minutes that passes we'll kill one more. Then after a total of twenty minutes, we'll kill one every minute. And just so you know, we'll be killing only women first, starting with this one. Shame. Quite pretty, don't you thinks, lads?" There was a hubbub of cheering and laughter in the background. "So, come now, or you'll pay the hard price. We wouldn't want that on your conscience now, would we... Commadore?" The channel was cut off unpolitely. The Commadore got up from his chair. "You're not actually... going are you?" asked Lawson. "You heard the man. I don't leave, people start getting murdered. Rimmer you're in charge," called Royston. "You can't just... go..." began Rimmer. "It's fine. That seat isn't feeling very comfortable, anyway," announced Hughes, and he strolled off the bridge.

***Ten minutes into the Future***
Hughes put on the traditional red jacket, It was part of the first half of the old Captain's joke "Bring me my red jacket! why? because it doesn't show blood....... and also, bring me my brown pants!
He boarded the skipper and flew over to the Crusby and proceeded to the bridge
Hughes: "I'm here but before I let you take me, a Fist fight you Scum Bag! Markus: "what the....."
Hughes cut him off with a brutal uppercut to the chin, Markus went spinning to the floor. Markus: "Screw the bounty! I'm kicking his old A**
The two continued to brawl.....
===================================================
At the same time Wittmann and Stark were finishing up picking the lock to Cargo Storage 12
Wittmann: "Each man pick a target. Pick it off with your silenced pistol when I say mark. I'll take the rest out with the SAW.
The five moved carefully into the hold, four people picked targets and one lined up a lot of targets.
**Pew****Pew****Pew****Pew****DAKKADAKKA**
all the bounty hunters dropped dead
***Five minutes later***
Great: "Everyone's safe. What now? Stark: "Orders Wittmann? Wittmann: "Bridge. Take that and we can take them out with the ships Auto defenses. Jones you can hack it right?" Jones: "Of Course."
***A further Five minutes later***
The team stormed up to the Bridge and stopped out side the door Wittmann called the team to stop.
Wittmann: "Hold up. Jones, Great burn the lock and the hinges. It sound's like somethings going down in there."
The rest of the team who where not involved in wielding shared a final nod
Great/Jones: "Done."
Wittmann kicked through the door and shouted "EVERYONE ON THE FLOOR OR WE......oh.... Hello Sir...." as he noticed Hughes engaged in a fist cuff with one of the Bounty hunters
Hughes ducked under a right hook, "Fine time to arrive Wittmann!"
Wittmann: "Anything i can do? Hughes: "Yeah! Help!"
Dropping the SAW Wittmann charged in and cut Markus's legs from under him with a low sweeping kick
Drawing his pistol Wittmann held Markus at gun point while barking orders "Stark! Cuff him! Then throw him in the brig "
While this was going on Great and Oates gunned down the other bounty hunter and Jones began to reengage the ships defenses
It was over......

Stark led Markus to the Sudriana's brig, and Great tagged along. Wittmann, Ricky, Hughes, Oates and Diamond were still on the bridge of the Crusby. Great was keeping tabs on Markus [and an eye on Stark] while Stark was navigating the helm of the boarding ship. "So, a bounty, eh?" chuckled Stark. "What makes you so special?" "I'm not sure special is the appropraie word," retorted Great in good humour. "Yeah, but Hughes, I can understand, he's in charge, Wittmann, sure, he could annoy just about any alien race, but you... you flew to the surface to look for Takeshi and nearly got thrashed by Nebutran fighters..." went on Stark. "Thrashed?" yelped Great. "Nearly thrashed," grumbled Stark. "Anyway," he continued, "my point is why would they put a bounty on you so badly?" "I was in the armoury most of the time blowing all hell out of those attacking craft. I'd imagine that would make them a little cross!" replied Great. "Fair enough," muttered Stark. "Eh, I hear there was a reward for capturing that Khan dude and an even bigger one if we killed him." "I wasn't entirely in this for the dosh, Stark," groaned Great. "Maybe... but perhaps I was." "It'll mean going down to that 'barry cold planet',"chimed Great. "Meh, a bit of a chill's nothing to me mate," boasted Stark. "Yeh, a bit of a chill. Don't forget to bring your woolly hat and gloves, Stark, seeing as it is just 'a bit of a chill'," grinned Great. Elsewhere, Oates and Wittmann were untying Diamond. "Thanks, guys. I owe you both a drink," smiled Rebecca. "I'm glad Great's not here. You'd remind him that I owe him one," murmured Wittmann. Jones and Hughes were at two of the stations on the bridge. Jones was fiddling with controls and wires. Great had even lent him, reluctantly, however, his frequency probe to aid him with the job, as Jones did not have any of tools to hand, nor were there any spare on the bridge. "I think this should do it. You know what to do, Commadore?" asked Jones. "Of course I do Ricky," replied Hughes confidentally. They beeped buttons and began the process of dealing with the remaining bounty hunters throughout the ship. Throughout the ship, bounty hunters, one by one, collapsed into a heap on the floor. "Sorry, but we'll have to leave clearing up the mess to you, Commadore Oates," said Hughes. "That's no problem, we've lots of men who can do the job, I'm sure. It's you I'm worried about. I just hope that no other bounty hunters come after you," said Oates. "I'm rather sure they won't," grinned Ricky. "When we found the wolf Khan, I cancelled out the bounty that was on you, Great and Wittmann, so I doubt there should be any trouble. Besides, the majority of bounty hunters in this entire sector must have been in on this." On the SSS, Great and Stark led Markus to the brig. "We'll make sure you have a defence when you go to court," murmured Great formally. "But we'll make sure it's a really bad one," commented Stark smugly. Great raised the energy barrier to the cell, and then, as the secondary precaution, bars swooshed from the ceiling and floor, clunking loudly and firmly into place. Three skippers returned to the SSS with Wittmann, Hughes and Jones. "Good job, there, you two. With that bounty on your head, Wittmann it must have been a little more unnerving," commented Hughes. "It's what you've got to expect out here, really, in the great darkness. All this flying around in our big old space station, we're bound to run into a few bad guys," remarked Wittmann. "Rather a bit more than I'd prefer," put in Jones. "Quite so," agreed Hughes. "Still, as long as we prevail in the end, it's all part of the adventure, eh?" said Jones trying to put a good slant on things. *** "I cannot believe... you dragged me down to this... barry... icehole of a planet," roared Stark. "I told you to bring a hat and gloves," moked Great. "You forgot to tell him he might need a scarf," grinned Wittmann. "It's not funny," grumbled Stark. "Oh come on, it's just a bit of a chill," chuckled Great. "Chin up, we've got that dosh, now what do you say we spend some of it on booze at that Wolf's Head, eh?" "Whoever named that pub... genius!" called Great. "And that reminds me, Wittmann..." "Oh gods," groaned Wittmann, he knew what was coming next. "You still owe me that drink. And I reckon for saving you with my handy probe, which, erm... you've still got Ricky..." Ricky reached into his pocket to give it back, as Great continued, "that you should make it a full pint." "I didn't think you liked drinking much when you were on duty," Stark said raising an eyebrow. "Well, we're not strictly on duty, and I think today's proven that we don't do things by halves, eh?" finished Great. "Fair enough. As long as Stark gets in the next round," agreed Wittmann. "Deal," chimed Great and Jones. Stark looked helplessly at them. "Well thanks a lot!" "No hard feelings, eh?" Jones smiled. "I'll give you hard feelings..." muttered Stark. They entered the pub. "Alright, Eis?" called Wittmann. "Yeh, you don't look bad yourselves," greeted the barkeeper. "We're doing alright I suppose," sniffed Stark. The group took a table and sipped their drinks. "So... The Michael Rommel?" began Great. "Indeed, but don't tell anyone else, yeh?" Wittmann said peering over the rim of his glass. "Nah, don't worry," smiled Great. "We won't," concurred Jones. "I suppose not. I'm a man who can keep a secret," shivered Stark less enthusiasticly. He was still cold from the outside, and finding it difficult to warm up, or rather become less cold than he had been. "That's settled then," sighed Wittmann. "Any idea what that old name was, then?" asked Great. "It took me long enough to forget it, I'd rather try not to remember it again," whinged Wittmann. "I can't imagine forgetting my name," pondered Jones. "Ricky Jones. Richard Jones," he muttered. The idea of forgetting his name was rather unusual to him. "How'd you go about forgetting it? Amnesia," asked Stark beginning to show an interest. "I probably had to forget that, too, otherwise I'd remember how I forgot and then I'd just... remember, if that makes much sense," explained Wittmann. "Beside I've gotten used to Wittmann, can't imagine changing it now." Some hours later, the shuttle swooshed up to the Sudriana once again, and landed skillfully in the hangar. The four of them got out and headed to the bridge. "Where are we going next?" asked Wittmann. "The gods know where," shrugged Great. "Let's hope somewhere that gets us into slightly less bother," chirped Jones. "I don't think I can promise that," said Great. ================================================== Next episode, I changed my mind, is going to be the two parter I had planned. I let this one run out and then provide the synopsis for the second half LAMBDA [aka Log 6) The Sudriana enters an unexplored region of space. A friendly vessel appraoches, and the man, a Krynolan, tells them that unusual anomalies tear through this area of space, and to proceed with caution. Upon venturing further, The Sudriana finds one of the first spacecraft launched by SiF City, the Lambda, that went missing under a year after it's launch. Teams board the Lambda, but soon they begin feeling uneasy, and even Rosie senses something is wrong. On the Sudriana, rifts begin opening around the station and, soon, inside too, causing severe damage and hull breaches. Soon the engines are in danger of exploding. Back on the Lambda, Wittmann sees a ghostly man, one of the old crew of the Lambda, roaming the corridor, and tries to follow him... This should take us right up to the end of that episode, at which point I'll post the second part of this episode, Log 7.

***three days before the present day*** Ever since the "business" on Portatian, a notable change had come over Wittmann (or Rommel). He had become more 'obsessed', quicker to anger, moodier. A notable physical change that the ships medics where at a loss to explain, was that Wittmann's eyes were drifting back to their Pre-bio chemical colour, Hazel, but with the years of chems in his system meant that his eyes were still shot with Ice-blue.
One thing that Wittmann had not said to anyone was that a Personification of his deep seated feelings of his Rage, Hate, and lust for power, had appeared to him. Right now Wittmann was in his sleeping quarters, he was attempting to paint (weirdly) a Model figurine of himself, The Personification floated around him "Why are you happy with what you have, When you could have so much more...?[/i]"
Wittmann: "Captain-Major's a good rank........now hush up. I'm trying to do my own eyes."
The Personification popped up through the painting desk, "you could have Happyness[/i]!
Wittmann: "not interested" Personification: "Fame![/i]" Wittmann: "still not interested" Personification: "Money![/i]" Wittmann: "Nope." Personification: "Power......![/i]" Wittmann: "I'm listening........"
The Personification twisted round to whisper in Wittmann ear, not that they could be heard anyway.
Personification: "Brigadier Wittmann[/i]" Wittmann: "go on?" Personification: "Commander Wittmann.[/i]" Wittmann: "I'm interested." Personification: "Commadore Wittmann.[/i]" Wittmann: "I like it!." Personification: "High Lord of The Armed Forces and The Fleet WITTMANN![/i]" Wittmann: "I LOVE IT!."

***present day***
The Sudriana floated slowly through the Great Darkness. The vast craft, so huge it seemed to be only inching forward.
Wittmann was now on the bridge of the Space Station Sudriana.
Hughes walked in from his ready room. "Alright, crew. New course!" he called excitedly. "Anything special?" asked Great. "I don't know!" replied Hughes. "How do you mean?" asked Rimmer, also present. "An area of space previously unexplored, and unclaimed. No vessel, it appears, has wondered into it previously. Not in SiF's knowledge, anyway!" explained the Commadore. "Sounds intriguing. Do we have any idea what to expect?" asked Great. "I'm afraid not. There will most likely be neutral territory surrounding the explored and claimed regions of space. We may, after that, find an alien race who claim part of the territory as theirs. Exploration. Not knowing what's next is part of the fun. Helm, plot the course, if you will," smiled the Commadore. "Yes, Commadore," replied the Helmsman.
The engines glowed brighter, as the Sudriana set course, heading for the deep, dark unknown.
Time passed. Hughes was reading through the latest set of transmissions from Earth, such as news updates. He liked to be kept up to date, on all matters, home and away.
Great was doing a routine check on all things weaponery. Torpedos [more commonly called 'torps'] of all kinds, as well as standard lasers, of all yields. He was also checking deflection arrays and shielding units, as well as hull integrity and stability, inertial dampeners, and running engine maintenance checks just to double check they corresponding with the latest updates from engineering.
Stark was not present, he was elsewhere in his quarters and scheduled on the bridge a little later.
Wittmann was standing at the security station. He had little to do and was standing there, deep in thought. Most of the crew had swivel chair, which they could use when they were not busy, at times such as this. They could be pulled out from a bulkhead on the station so as not to get in an officer's way, especially during an attack on the vessel.
This was all interrupted when an incoming transmission was signalled. Wittmann was still deep in thought, as he slowly noticed the beeping eminating from Great's station.
"Incoming transmission, Sir," said Great. "From who?" asked the Commadore, inquistively. He had not been informed of an ships entering sensor range. "I can't see them. Maybe they have good long range transmittors, and sensors," pondered Great. He was right. A craft suddenly appeared on long range sensors. "A ship's just come on long range, Sir," reported Great. "Open the channel," said the Commadore.
"Greetings," chimed a friendly voice. "I am Snarvech N'Deckson of the Krynolan ship Kom'matos. I see you are venturing into this region of space." "Indeed we are," replied Hughes. "I must recommend you turn back," warned Snarvech. "I'm sorry?" asked the Commadore, a little confused. Great was wondering if this was a threat. "You must not know how dangerous this region of space can be," explained the Krynolan. "The anomalies. They are very leathel. They tear through this region of space violently. When they open they are like wormholes, or small black holes. These portals open only for a few moments usually, although they have been known to last for perhaps hours. They can disturb with all sorts of systems. Sometimes they can emerge INSIDE a ship. They wreck corridor tearing apart walls. Unstoppable," he continued dramaticly. "Thanks for the warning. We'll try to be careful," said Hughes. "Is it known why these portals open?" asked Great. "I'm afraid not. They're like rifts. Mysterious. Anyway, this is all the advice I can offer you. Proceed with caution, sir. I wish you a safe journey," smiled Snarvech. "The same to you. Many thanks," responded Hughes. He pondered. "Shall we continue with our previously intended course? Or shall we turn back, Commadore?" asked the helmsman. "Well, if anyone feels the need to object... we'll continue on route," said the Commadore. Silence. There were no objections. "Continue on route," ordered the Commadore.

*Planet Axalon* "Well?" "He's...smiling..." "He's awake?!" "No, the fight, his mouth was slashed, into a smile..." (OCC: Hey! I thought Joker was awesome:P) "My god. His face?" "Apart from the mark, he is intact..." "Living?" "Yes, coming back to it anyway" "Right, keep on it" The rain from the planet fell harder as the blonde girl came to the large hidden doors in the captial city. The hooded figure she had recognized was with her. Girl: He...he won't remember ?: I wouldn't worry about that Girl: I'm not ready...I want to give him time ?: What? No. It's because you think were all freaks, even him... Girl: No! It's just... Another hooded figure arrived. ? 2: Leave her. Give her time... ?: Right... The girl sobbed a bit as the two figures disappeared, leaving two cards...cards from a playing deck on the ground. She picked them up...and gasped. It was the Jester, and the Ace of Spades...

The cloister bell rang. It was never a good sign, what with being linked to the damage control system and all. Jones sighed and made his way to a crisis console. Apparently, almost every component on board ship was malfunctioning. He eventually figured out the problem. Every component had a different reading of time to the main computer.
Ricky switched off all the auxiliary time keeping subroutines and, one by one, the error messages disappeared. He tapped a communications button and said “Jones to Hughes, all the clocks on board have gone haywire. I’ve shut down all of them but the main computer. No serious threat but I’d like to keep them off for the time being.”
The Commander listened to piano music starting up as he waited for his response. “Ok, Richard whatever you think is best. By the way, what is that music?” Jones thought about it “It’s ‘The Entertainer’ but it’s not coming from your end and there’s no grand piano down here.”
“Quiet, you!” A dark dressed man yelled whilst shining a torch at him. “Some people are trying to enjoy the film. Turn that humming noise off while you’re at it.” Richard thought the worst as he turned around. A giant rift lay directly in front of him “Forgive me, but I’m not even in the cinema.” He found himself saying.
‘The Entertainer’ reached its climax and the rift shut in front of him. “Bridge,” the perplexed engineer called out “I’ve just been harassed by an early twentieth century cinema steward. It’s going to be one of those days.”

Commadore Hughes, still on the bridge, had unsuccessfully been trying to read through the holo-news once again before Commander Jones had contacting him.
His hand limped in an expression of his increase in attention to what Ricky had just said. "I... beg your pardon?" exclaimed Royston in an outburst of utter confusion. "I'm not sure," responded Jones, "It was like, I could see a cinema through a portal. A 20th century cinema, and then it just disappeared in a flash of neon light." "Hold on, just a second," said Hughes. He pushed a HOLD button on the holonet. Jones, on the other end, would have to tolerate with typical boring hold music, or 'lift' music as it was not that dissimilar from the annoyingly tunes heard in lifts back on Earth. "Oh," muttered a disgruntled Jones. Hughes turned around to Great, Wittmann and Rimmer. "I know he's not the sanest member of the crew, but... come on!" cried Hughes. "A portal with a cinema on the other side? Most intriguing..." pondered Great. "May I recommend we send him to the medical bay, just to get him... checked over, sir?" asked Rimmer. "Not a bad idea. In the mean time, Wittmann and Great, I want to take a trip to Engineering, see if you can find anything... out of ordinary!" said Hughes. "Yes, sir," called Great and Wittmann. Hughes turned his attention to the holonet again. "Sorry about that, Jones. Stay where you are until Great and Wittmann arrive, then take a walk down to the medical bay, I'll get some security staff to escort you. Just to make sure this region of space isn't affecting your... concious... mind..." stammered Hughes. "Just to check I'm not going crazy, you mean?" Jones offered a simpler way of putting it. "I wouldn't say that. Erm... over and out." Hughes cleared his throat. "Strange. Very strange." "You think it could be to do with Snarvech's warning?" asked Derek. "It's looking a likely possiblilty. Scan the area of space, I want a close look out for anything at all," demanded Hughes.
Great and Wittmann strolled to Engineering. "So what do you think about all of this rift business?" asked Great. "Erm...o- odd, yeah!" stuttered Wittmann. He was not paying attention. He was still thinking about what he had been a few days ago. His mind was not on the job. Great could tell, but did not make out that he could. Eventually, he reached Engineering.
"Jones, good day," smiled Great. "Can I go for my check-up now?" asked Jones. He seemed pleased to actually be going. "Like to make sure I've got a few brain cells left," he chuckled, as he and two security men prepared to set off the Medical Bay. "One more thing!" called Great. "Where exactly did you see this... rift?" "Right next to the main power cores," replied Jones. "Take care around those by the way. I want them in ship-shape when I come back!" He looked across the large Engineering area. "Edwards!" he called to a blonde lady by a small work station. "You're in charge of the Engineering bay until I get back." "Yes sir," she called as he turned and walked away.
"Right next to the core," murmured Great, impressed. "That's some dangerous spot to be opening rifts." "Thats for sure," replied Wittmann, who was now paying more attention. "A cinema? We have a cinema on the station, but it's decks down, and corridors away. Besides, it seemed Jones was on about a cinema with an older theme. Or an actual early cinema," considered Great. "Maybe it was the core that caused the rift to open," suggested Wittmann. "It's possible. Snarvech said they weren't sure what caused the rifts," replied Great. "Or maybe... the rift was attracted to the main source of power." Wittmann did not reply. "You OK? You seem to drifting. In your thoughts... Quite a bit lately..." Great stopped talking. Wittmann had never been so quiet. "Wittmann?" called Great. No reply. It was like Wittmann was just standing. He looked around. Gazed at Great. Great pulled out his biosign scanner. A rather older version of this still used technology, true to Great's fashion. The scanner thrummed at it scanned Wittmann... to say he was giving unusual readings would be an understatement. Wittmann gasped. "Wittmann?" uttered Great once again. "That was... really odd!" said a perplexed Wittmann. "Are you OK?" enquired Great. "I think I just had a... an out of body experience. Like I was... drifting ... above myself. I could see you... but I could see me as well. And then I moved, it was like something else had control over me... forced me out of my own body," explained Wittmann. Great was rather intrigued, and looked around the Engineering bay. He wasn't sure, but he thought he caught sight of a cool blue mist floating high around the bay, but in the flash that he had seen it, in the corner of his eye, it disappeared.
Elsewhere on the bridge, Hughes was AGAIN trying to read the holo-news. The tactical station beeped. Tactical Officer Courtnage was at the station. "Report!" barked Hughes. "It's a ship. On long range scanners. Little power. It's a weak reading. I'm scanning now," he reported. Hughes waited pateintly. "It's...," Courtnage stopped for a moment. "It's an Earth vessel, Sir." "Out here? This space is unexplored. We'd know if any Earth vessel was here, and there isn't one. Never has been," Hughes said, partly to himself, partly to anyone who was listening. "Send a signal." "I'm already on it," called Rimmer. "Further scans show it may have been adrift. It appears stationery at present. Their core is inactive... probably shut down. No life signs on board. Seems they took damage. Hull breaches. Life support is barely operational. I'm getting the vessel's registration details," Courtnage paused for a moment. "Sir, it's the Lambda." "But it can't be! That's amazing," gasped Hughes. "The one that was lost years ago. It had only been launched a year then SiF lost contact. They searched for four years before it was called off," Rimmer put in. "The very same," replied Courtnage. He put up what his display was showing on the larger holonet at the front of the bridge. Hughes looked on in disbelief.

***Two days before the current day*** The hardest thing the Commadore ever had to do was.........confront Captain-Major Wittmann face to face
The Captain-Major had changed so much in the past few days he was a almost different person, his eyes once a pleasant blue were now shot with hazel, they were unnerving to stare into. The man himself had changed, he was colder, sterner, worse.
Nevertheless the command had requested that Wittmann be awarded a medal for his actions on Portatian
The knock at the door came. The Captain-Major walked in dressed in formal garb, His old Company's blazer under the ships formal jacket, his medals pinned to his chest.
"Wittmann" "Commadore" "Acting in the name of the High commander of the Armed Forces, I am pleased to present you with the Oak Leaves and Swords for your Iron Cross." "Very good sir."
Hughes took the Iron cross and pinned the Oak Leaves and Swords to it.
"you may leave now" stated Hughes flat and emotionless returning to his desk
Wittmann hesitated.
"What are you waiting for? another medal? I think we've already given nearly everyone of them." "Very droll sir, Very droll"
Wittmann left the office scowling "It should be me!",the Personification reared 'its' head "It could be you! Just reach out and take it![/i]
***One day before the current day*** Wittmann sat in his sleeping quarter idly passing the time, when "You could have everything![/i]
A flash of white when over Wittmann's eyes and when there were three.
An Angel in White shouted "I am the one who would uphold Rightness!" The man with Grey wings spake: "I am the one who would uphold order"
The Daemon in Red (The Personification) whispered "I am the one who can give you.....everything."
The three began to duel, The white striking with the fury of thunder bolts, The red underhandedly striking while a back was turned, The gray? he only struck to stop killing blows and to prevent one from gaining an advantage over the other
Wittmann's remembered two words "The locks"........

The Commander lifted his head out of the scanner and enquired “And the verdict is???” His Doctor stared at him and said “Contrary to popular belief, you are sane, Mister Jones. With no hallucinogens in your system, either. That still doesn’t explain why you saw that cinema.” He smiled and said to the physician “If all things were explained so easily, life wouldn’t be worth living.” She replied “But it would make my job a lot easier. Ok, you have a clean bill of health; restrict yourself to light duties for the time being.”
Ricky was about to agree when a communiqué came through the bridge. Hughes voice stated “Doctor, We have found the Lambda. Prepare for medical incoming.” The doctor looked perplexed and replied “Preparations are being made now, Commander.” Jones stared at her and said “I’ll go prepare an away team from the bridge” The two parted their separate ways.
Richard stared up at the lift ceiling as it climbed up towards the command deck. “The Lambda has been gone for years now.” He pondered “Why would Hughes think there would be survivors?” Suddenly a large flash engulfed the lift and it stopped at its destination. The Commander walked out onto the empty desolate bridge of the Lambda. He sighed and replied “It really is going to be one of those days.”

Stark screened the horizon from the cockpit of his skipper. Arlyria had been acting up since the showdown with Kitagawa some months prior, and he couldn't figure out what the problem was. So he left her behind and led Acton, Wilberforce and Gunn - among a few others - out for a quick skip. He didn't recognise this area of the great darkness, and Great was not much help when asked. Doesn't matter, Tom had thought, not knowing is half the fun.
Out of the port side he spied a row of lights. "Ahoy there!" he called, broadcasting all frequencies. "This is Commander Tom Stark of the Space Station Sudriana. Do you copy?"
There was no reply.
"This is Commander Stark, making contact, please reply."
Nothing.
"This is..."
Tom was interrupted by a predictable source.
"Stark!" "Commodore. What's the problem?" "Where are you?" "We're outside. Having a... oh, never mind." Stark cut communications.
Hughes sighed - clearly, Tom was in one of his moods. He tolerated Stark's attitude, his influencing of other members of the crew, but there were times that it really got on his tits. This was one of them. Still, he couldn't stay mad - Stark had, after all, saved Great, Wittmann, and Hughes himself from being notches on a bounty hunter's already overnotched belt. "Gone skipping, has he?" Great appeared in the doorway. "Yes," Hughes confirmed, "About 6 skippers I think." "Well, are you going to call them back?" "Nah, let them have their fun. I'll deal with them later. It's not like they're in any mortal danger. Or us, for that matter."
Stark returned his attention to the ship he and the others were now approaching. "I repeat, acknowledge my greeting on behalf of the Sudriana!" he said firmly into the communit.
Still no reply.
"What is this craft playing at?" Tom wondered aloud. He gave the signal for the fly-around, and the other five skippers fell into formation. Tom liked that he kept a sense of order in his rebellion - simply abandoning the Sudriana would never do. Now, as the six skippers slowly moved to the starboard of the silent craft, its name blazed in sudden light. Tom's breath caught in his throat. "It can't be..."
It was. The name on the side of the ship was LAMDA.

Wittmann yelled "YYYYHHHHAAAAARRRGGGG!!!!" and dived dragging Great with him away from the Wormhole.
Wittmann: "Ow..." Great: "I think......you.....just saved my life" Wittmann: "Owie..............I think i banged my head"
Great dragged Wittmann up from the floor
Wittmann started to move away "We need to move fast.........Gods help anyone else down here......"
Great: "agreed......."
***later***
(Voice over by Hughes)
"You men have been picked because of your experience in boarding Space Stations. But this mission is one of.... peace. The Lamba has been uncontacted for many years. we have no idea what you will find. But the Time is now, board the Lamba and find out what happened.
Wittmann and the Troops stood at attention, Hughes Finished his speech.
The Captain-Major saluted and marched into the boarding ship
***Still later***
The boarding ship docked with the Lamba
Wittmann: "FAN OUT!" SSS Soldiers: "Yes Sir!"
Unbidden visions flashed through his brain as Wittmann moved into the ship. The Lamba appeared to be empty......
Moving into the corridors a specter appeared. The ghost words passed into his mind without the consent of his ears "Wittmann..........Wittmann I remember you........"
Wittmann recoiled in horror "Sharpe.........no...no.no..no....." shouting to the rest of his team "KEEP MOVING! I'll go this way!"
Sharpe was one of Wittmann's brothers in arms after the....battle the two had gone their separate ways, Wittmann the French foreign Legion, Sharpe the Lamba.
Sharpe: "What brings me here is the locks, The ones in your head, The Mind Locks."
________________________________________________________ OOC: Could no one write anything more for Wittmann please.
No guesses for the Name Sharpe

Richard tapped a few buttons on the Engineering console of the bridge. He had just finished restoring the Lambda’s power when a message came up on the main screen. “If you can understand this message, get out.” The message warned “Get out from this region ofspace as fast as your engines will carry you. If you survive getting out – don’t ever consider returning.” Jones watched as it faded into black before resuming his efforts on an emergency broadcast transmitter.
The Commander stood above the now wired transmitter and pushed it on. He spoke “To the Sudriana, or anyone who is associated to her, this is Commander Richard Jones. Due to circumstances beyond my control and comprehension, I am now trapped on the Lambda Bridge. If you can hear me, I would appreciate some assistance. Jones out.”
Ricky switched the transmitter off and pondered for a second. ‘If the crew left that message from when power came back, they could very well have left some hint in their logs.’ He accessed the captain’s database from the command chair. Thankfully, the computer was still in good order. Jones brought up the last retrievable message and decrypted it.
The message played. “ This week hasn’t gone as well as planned. We were boldly going where no one had gone before. Now we’ve stopped completely. Rifts have forming inside the ship and out. Our crew has been disappearing. I blame this damned Descartien space. “I think therefore I am.” Well, Descartes, you’d have loved the irony of this.
Every stray thought coming true at a reasonably haphazard manner. How are we meant to manipulate the laws of physics to our advantage if the laws keep changing? I fear the worse for this crew. We could die here, if we don’t disappear all together. We can’t move, fight or launch skippers. Soon we may lose food, water and air altogether. I hope my next entry brings good tidings but I doubt it.” Richard paused before adding “Oh boy.”

Great was now on the Bridge with Commadore Hughes and Rimmer. "The boarding ship has docked," announced Great. "Good," grunted Hughes. "The skippers are taking a closer look as we..." Alarms suddenly blared around Great. "Report, Colonel," bellowed Hughes. "There appear to be several appatures emerging on sensors... both outside and inside the ship," reported Great. "Damage report!" exclaimed Hughes. "We're losing structural integrity on several decks. Various sections, also," cried Great. The distorted rifts eerily seeped around the Sudriana. A rift began emerging on the bridge. "Force fields!" bellowed Hughes. "I'm trying," said Great, but the rift disappeared in a whisp of neon blue light and mist. "Rifts are emerging all across the Sudriana... we're still losing structural integrity!" A louder alarm sounded. "Hull breaches. Sir, if a rift appears on the casing of the engines, we could be killed..." Everyone on the bridge was rocked to one side as the SSS rocked as a result of the rifts. The rift began floating around the Sudriana becoming brighter and more powerful.

[Just one more scene from lordviruscide to complete this story, and then we'll begin part two. The storyline is below, but please allow everything from the synopsis for LOG 6 to occur before we progress. Thanks!]
GHOSTS IN THE RIFT [LOG 7]
The Sudriana shuts off it’s engines, to prevent its own destruction. Across the Lambda, members witness ‘ghosts’ appearing and then vanishing before their eyes. Wittmann decides to abandon the Lambda. The Sudriana learns the Lambda is caught in the rift, which studies show is a temporal disturbance. Suddenly, Commadore Reynolds, who had been in charge of the Lambda, appears on the bridge, asking why the Sudriana has passed into their space. ‘Reynolds’ appears to be in ghost form. ‘Reynolds’ explains he is the replica of a human who strayed into their space some time ago, only in non-corporeal form [no body]. Reynolds is now only a Descartian, non-corporial beings who take the imprints of corporeal beings as their shape. They encountered the Lambda long ago, but their temporal rifts, that they use to travel through space and time in their region of space, caused them to experience problems leading to them abandoning ship. The Descartians use their temporal technology to bring the Lambda crew back, to prevent their ship being abandoned and ending up living the rest of their lives alone in their region of space. The Lambda and the Sudriana leave the region of space, marking it with warning buoys. The Lambda, finding themselves 23 years in the future, head back to Earth, after thanking the SSS.

***Axalon***
JESTER and SPADE had entered the "Room" as the Reaper Remnants had called it. Over 30'000 Reapers were now on Axalon ever since the Reaper revolution. Jester and Spade now lead the Reapers.
Spade: He's awake Jester Jester: I know...
The girl who was with them before was outside crying in the rain as hover transports flew by with their loads. JENNY was sad as the rain fell, Spade went outside to see her. It was raining hard now.
Spade: It's time... Jenny: Oh God, let him be ok
All the Reapers assembled as Surgeon, the Reaper doctor, walked out with his female nurses.
Surgeon: REAPERS! HE'S BACK!
Cheers aroused as a shadowy figure with lights on his arms and face walked out, laughing...
Spade, Jester and Jenny walked on the banister. A giant Mirror dropped in front of the figure so he could see himself as he lowered his hood. He laughed hysterically.
??: So....this...is the new....me....heh Jester: Revenge sir? ??: Yes Jester...REVENGE!!!!!
The Reapers all went into a frenzy cheering as the mirror raised. Jenny was shocked but happy to see him alive.
His left eye was totally scarred... His legs were all Metal... His left hand was all metal... His mouth was scarred into a smile...
??: Let this be known! Humanity will suffer...and humanity...will call in names, the REAPERS!
AND THE ONE WHO SCARRED EARTH!!!!

***LAMBDA***
Wittmann dropped to his knees sobbing "Sharpe....... what happened......? did I................ kill anyone? TELL ME!?"
Sharpe gently placed his hand under Wittmann's chin and started to speak gently to Wittmann. "My Brother in Arms......I can't tell you. your own mind would deny it."
Wittmann: "what?!" Sharpe: "after what happened you locked the memories away deep in that head of yours" Wittmann: "I don't remember that! any of it." Sharpe: "The Mind locks won't let you remember, simply that. Remember back to Portatain. Wittmann: "I remembered one of my old names....." Sharpe: "Thank you lord! Thank you for sending Wittmann the gift of understanding what the hell I'm talking 'bout!" Wittmann: "Hang on. how.....how did you know about that?" Sharpe: "Unlike every other ghost on this ship I'm a just a fragment of your fragmented mind trying to find answers. Wittmann: "what?" Sharpe: "now your gettin' it! I died horribly and painfully several years ago. This is happening because of your need to know what happened.
Wittmann: "Where do i go?" Sharpe: "Go to Krieg. coordinates...... Wittmann: "Thank you.......so very much." Sharpe: "Goodbye my old chum. may you find answers............!"
Sharpe faded away Wittmann: "The planet Krieg.......I think i can remember."
*****A short time later*****
