OK, I bet everyone's heard their more famous songs like Gay Bar and Danger! High Voltage! from their debut album back in 2003, but has anyone else followed their output since then?
They released a cover of Queen's "Radio Ga Ga" in 2005 off their Senor Smoke album, which was slated quite badly by the UK Music Press on account of the fact that the lead singer, Dick Valentine was seen dressed up as Freddie Mercury dancing on his grave during the video.
Other than that, their albums are absolutely hilarious, and I'd highly recommend checking them out for the novelty value. Dick Valentine has admitted that 80% of the songs are mainly about nothing, but the content just cracks me up.
Last album - Switzerland was a bit of a bummer as it lacked something the previous two albums had, but three standouts were there: * The Band In Hell - Apparently Hitler plays drums for them... * I Buy The Drugs - Just a daft song, but catchy as hell. * Pulling the Plug on the Party - The first verse is about being excluded from a nightclub... then it just goes random.
Check them out if you're game for a laugh!

I love "Gay Bar", it's a minor classic. I like their energy and rock'n'rollness.

Dug out the first album and listening to it now... only ever think of GayBar now when, well, when I hear it on in one! Never realised they were still producing material... something to have a hunt on Amazon for! Cheers Ryan!
