I've heard of the movie. Pretty graphic isn't it, considering it's rated R. Yup, they died. But they'll leave the kids alone now.

I like music from this era, but the only Pink Floyd song I like is 'Another Brick in Wall Part 2'.

That line cracks me up!

I've never gotten a lot of chances to listen to Pink Floyd, but I am quite familiar with Another Brick in the Wall XD

I don't mind the Floyd. I reckon there are better bands out there, but the stuff I know is pretty good. Admittedly, that's only about 6 songs, but...
By the way, Dark Side Of The Moon was voted Australia's favourite album on Sunday. Which surprised me - I expected The Wall to be this band's best performer.

I've recently been bitten by the Pink Floyd bug.
Purchased Pulse, Animals & A Momentary Lapse Of Reason the other day & a few months back saw a tribute act Beyond The Darkside, which was very good.

''Dark Side Of The Moon'' is without a doubt one of the greatest rock albums ever conceived. I just purchased the remastered version. Came with a second disc containing a recording of it being performed live at the Empire Pool in Wembley in 1974.
Pink Floyd are an amazing band. Their best song is definitely "Comfortably Numb", great to listen to and has a killer guitar solo from David Gilmour ;D

My favourite band, truly a legendary psychedelic rock band and both Syd Barrett and David Gilmour are amazing singers. Although i like the Dark Side of the Moon, my favourite album is "Wish You Were Here", i love how it's completely dedicated to Syd Barrett and the songs especially Crazy Diamond tells such a tragic story.

Pink Floyd are such gods of rock music. I remember hearing one time someone saying "If The Beatles are God, Pink Floyd is Jesus", and honestly I agree with a statement like that. Their music is just other worldly been a fan since my early teens and have collected so much stuff from them as a result, bootlegs for sure haha.
It's hard to choose a favoruite album but if I had to choose.....Wish You Were Here, Shine On You Crazy Diamond (all 9 parts) are just out of this world tracks.
