I'm reading the book "Christine" by Steven King at the moment. It's about a teenager who buys a 1958 Plymouth Fury and they become demented and kill people. Can't keep me nose out of it!!

I've just finished Darren Shan's latest book, Bec. As with all his books in the Demonata series, it is very scary. The thing I like about it is that although the books are set in 3 different time zones (Present day, 30 years ago and 1600 years ago) with different main characters per time zone, there are still references to previous books.
I really reccomend this as long as you don't mind scary books. Bec is book 4, but the books have been designed so that you can read them in any order.

As of now, I've been reading The Godfather by Mario Puzo and Star Wars The New Jedi Order: Agents of Chaos I: Hero's Trial by James Luceno (whom I do not consider the best Star Wars EU author).

I've got all 62 of the books in this series, and probably haven't read them all yet. I'm currently working my way through Beware, the Snowman.

Man, Goosebumps....the memories. My fav would be the tie between Attack of the Jack O Lanterns and the whole Monster Blood trilogy.
Just getting into Stephen King's "IT". *Shudders*
Also, thanks to my mass of friends demanding me reading the Eragon books, I'm going for it.

Once thats done I'm gonna read Wicked, The Untold story of the witches of Oz by Gregory Maguire, a must for any Wizard of Oz fan :-D

Currently I'm re-reading the whole Moomin series of books by Tove Jansson. I'm on "Moominpappa at sea" right now - the best of the lot IMO.

I finished 'The Man with the Golden Gun' by Ian Fleming. It was very good, but not as well-written as some of Fleming's other works before it. I am unsure what to read next. We'll have to wait and see. . .

As of right now, I'm reading Star Wars: Allegiance by Timothy Zahn (the best SW author out there, IMO) and Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston.

I just finished Run Out: My Dismissal and the Inside Story of Cricket by Graham Halbish, former CEO of the Australian Cricket Board. Very shady dealings, and a lot of strong insight. A good read if you're interested in the backroom politics that goes on in top level sport.

At the moment I am reading Doctor Who the Handbook: The Sylvester McCoy Era. It is very informative, and offers an indepth look at how they made Doctor Who at the end of the eighties, shame there is no pictures though. There are handbooks for the first six Doctor's as well, If you can get hold of them I highly recommend them.

Became totally engrossed in the autobiography of Roy Chubby Brown last week.
I know a lot of people aren't drawn to his brand of humour, but he's led an interesting, tragic and hilarious life at times. Really makes you see more about the man behind the patchwork suit, flying hat and goggles.
Definitely give it a read.

I finished reading Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale a few days ago for school, and I hated it, along with all the other stuff I've seen by her. She seems very overrated, pompous and full of herself. Aside from sharing distopian themes, the book is blatantly derivative of 1984, among others. It's nauseatingly feminist, too.
