What are you currently reading, as of right now?
I'm reading Star Wars: The Cestus Deception. It's a really good book, part of the Clone Wars series. It has an element that I've not seen too much in a Star Wars book.

Currently, I'm not reading much, but if I were, it'd be either one of the Harry Potter books or the Railway Series.

I'm reading King Rat by China Mieville. I don't think it's as good as his later books, but it's still pretty enjoyable. I'm also reading The Elizabethan World Picture, a short but fascinating book explaining how people viewed the world in the Elizabethan era. I thoroughly recommend it for anyone studying the period or, indeed, studying Shakespeare or other writers of the period.

The Killer Angels - Mike Shaara. A novel about the battle of Gettysburg. Wonderfully written with great details. Was the basis for the film 'Gettysburg.'

I'm reading Biggles Delivers the Goods. Brilliant books. I've only another fifty odd books to get to finish the collection. The WWI stories are some of the best. Some of the WWII stories are cracking too but the ones which i don't enjoy as much are all Biggles' adventures after WWII. They seem tame compared to the others. Biggles Breaks the Silence is cool though. That's set in Antartica in the early 50s and that has a real good story.

New book that I'm reading is called First Strike. It's book three of a trilogy based on the Halo game on the X-Box. Even if you're not a big fan of the game I urge you to read the books. They are gripping and answer questions you may have of the game. ;D Totally awesome book. It's giving me a break from researching and writing mine!

Ronnie Barker: All I Ever Wrote Even if you've watched every episode ever made (I envy you), or only saw the "Fork Handles" sketch on TV, buy this book. It's a HUGE book containing anything that Barker ever written for the show, and it's absolutely hilarious. It even has an alternative ending for the "Fork Handles" sketch!

Although I always tend to read a few books at a time, I guess my main book at the moment would be 'The Thomas the Tank Engine Man' by Brian Sibley. And it is very interesting, to say the least.

When I'm on holiday I like to read books. On my last holiday I got through:
Hannibal - The third in the Lecter series, quite a good book, but I really prefer the film, despite the fact this gives more closure.
The Rites Of Man - This is factual above all else, investigating the reasons why men have evolved into the mind-set we hold, covering all sorts of things from our attitudes and our relationships to histories.
Ricky - Ricky Tomlinson, British comedian and very interesting guy to read about. I like a working-class fella come good story. Plenty ups and downs, a good story as well as an eventful life.
