I just finished off "Romeo and Juliet" during school and now I'm starting "Don Quixote de la Mancha" at home. Great novel.

Well, the book I'm reading at the moment is one whose title I probably can't mention here... It's a play by Eve Ensler, a feminist work that takes the form of a series of monologues. Just look up Eve Ensler and Monologues and you'll get it straight away. Apparently it's one of those works that everyone should read, but I'm not convinced so far.

Current book for me at the moment is the Odyessey by Homer. Yep, I gotta read it for Grammer class. Abit tiring and a story line I can't follow, but it gives me something to do.

I'm about to finish 'Only an Alligator' by Steve Aylett. A very, very, very weird book.

Finished "Suicide and Attempted Suicide: Methods and Consequences" by Geo Stone. An enthralling book, it really appealed to the emo side of me.

I'm now on 'Schindler's Ark' by Thomas Kenneally. This novel is probably better known as the basis of 'Schindler's List'. It's proving a very interesting read, but I'm not entirely convinced by Schindler himself. I know he's supposed to be a real historical figure, but I just don't think Kenneally has really thought about the motivations behind his actions.

Great Expectations by Charles Dickens is my new current book. Got through only part of Chapter 1 today. I can already tell you it's boring.

.hack//Legand of the Twilight volume 2
The last book I read was Franz Ferdinand & The Pop Renaisance so at the minute I'm reading some of the manga books again. The 1 I have mentioned above is the most resent book that I have bought. I have only read the first story so far but it is very good, I'll probaly read the rest of it during my lunch breaks at college as I'm back there tomorrow.

It starts off slow and admittedly it took me a while to read but it was a satisfying read. At the moment however I've been reading old books I haven't looked at for a while such as William Horwood's "Duncton" series and the Chronicles of Narnia. Also, has anyone heard of or read "The Eyes of God" by John Marco. I found this a truly amazing book - unfortunately no-one I know has heard of it...

Just finished 'Naked Lunch' by William S Burroughs. It's a cult book, and normally I'm a sucker for those, but this one was frankly annoying. There were some funny jokes, but a lot of it just felt like a slightly sad attempt to shock.

I've just started reading Casino Royale by Ian Fleming. I've been meaning to read some of the original Bond stories for a while, and when I saw this in a charity shop, I thought that now was my chance.
It's actually really well written. It's not great literature, but Ian Fleming really knew his craft when it came to storytelling. No superfluous detail, no exposition, yet he manages to set up a scene and its characters beautifully within a couple of pages.
