I'm not sure if there's a thread already, but I'll make one anyway since it's being active again for quite a long time... www.homestarrunner.com/main3.htmlSo I've been a fan of the web series since late '08, thanks to a few users on YT. (Trainlover476/ Joey Turner, missoliverandblossom, and Trainboy7) I quite like the humor, and the emails are the best part of the toon. My favorite character is Coach Z. So, what are your thoughts and memories on the series?

I'm surprised there isn't a thread already.
I love this website, and I was super excited when they broke their 4 year hiatus with a toon directly addressing the comeback. The characters, the humor, the animation, and just the overall innocence of the website is just sublime. I recommend it to anyone who has somehow never seen it before.

It's been a while since this was updated, but ever since the series came back from hiatus, they have been posting much less than it was during the 2000s, with the exception of the yearly Halloween toons, which is the norm by this point. More of a fan of the mid to late 2000s era as that was when I got into the series, but I'm glad they're doing stuff after the four year gap.

I also found Homestar Runner through trainlover476 and missoliverandblossom. Honestly, sometimes i wish i was an adult when they were extremely active with the website, and when flash was still around. Still their site managed to outlive flash thanks to ruffle so that's a good thing. I still found a bunch of appreciation for the humor they did especially when i found out all the stuff that trainlover476 and missoliverandblossom referenced in their videos when i first went around to Homestar Runner dot com.
One of my personal favorite jokes is 'Welcome to Homestarrunner.net, it's dot com', classic internet humor right there. The emails were always entertaining, infact if they released SbeMail 209 2 years ago about learning how to parent kids. Homestar Runner will always be ingrained into my brain.

I often think sadly about the fact that Flash died specifically because of Homestar and trying to get new people into it. It was a whole new world when you could just explore their website for hours, click on Easter eggs, and just discovering how deep the lore went. Now, they've found a way to adapt, but it's not the same as it used to be.
That being said, I'm so grateful they still update a couple of times a year, I just wish they'd do it way more often. Here's my question: how would you introduce new people to Homestar now? It's so massive, and with the changes made because of Flash, I have no idea where a new person would begin (aside from watching the First Time Here short).
