Hi everyone, I have recently returned from visiting my cousin who is 6 years old, while there I discovered a great children's railway book, very different to Thomas. It was called Peter's Railway. For those who don't know the books, here is their website: www.petersrailway.com/Index.aspxFor those who do know the books, this thread is for discussing them.

Hi everyone, I have recently returned from visiting my cousin who is 6 years old, while there I discovered a great children's railway book, very different to Thomas. It was called Peter's Railway. Hi James, I went to the Severn Valley Railway in 2014 and attended the Peter's Railway exhibition there, where I met Christopher Vine and John Wardle and spoke to them for a few minutes about the series. Lovely duo, they are! So I bought Volume 1: Peter's Railway and had it autographed by Christopher and John too! It is such a brilliant book. What I like is the simple and clear teachings of how railways are constructed and what each part does. Very useful - even I learned a thing or two. I want to get the rest of the books in the series (PR and The Moonlight Express, PR To The Rescue etc.) at some point in future. I would definitely recommend it to any friend or railway-lover.
