I wouldn't.
I'll be honest, I'm a strong believer in the phrase, "The Repercussions could have Repercussions." I'd be so scared of screwing everything up that I couldn't do anything. One wrong move, and the entire time-space continuum could shatter.
However, I'd make sure to carry spare Plutonium in the DeLorean. definitely.

But what if you could know what you're outcomes would be. That change anything?

That'd make me a God, and that power's something I wouldn't much like.
Besides, I kind of hold the belief that everything that has happened is for a reason, and that everything's really for the best.
Now, are there a few things I'd like to rewrite about textbooks? well, for one, Nader's "Unsafe at any Speed" was more a political grab than a truthful consumer advocacy piece...

I would...
Stop the 9/11 attacks.
Stop the Iraq war.
Meet George Carlin.
Meet Britt Allcroft and Rev.W.Awdry.
Prevent the Titanic from going into the Iceberg.
Stop Global Warming.
Make my dad better and richer.

If I could change history...
Why?
I notice no one has advocated the obvious. Don't change anything at all?
Yes, tragic and frankly horrific events like 9/11, the 2nd world war, the loss of the titanic, they have all affected the way we lead our lives - but isn't that inherently a good thing?
We learn from our mistakes and we move on - we built better ships than Titanic, we learnt from the mistakes of the first world war and tried (albeit badly) to re-build after the 2nd. The IRA campaigns made the British acutely aware that we are not invincible to attacks, and 7/7 did the same. But it should have all taught us one thing:
To take every day as it comes, and live our lives a little better than the previous day. To enjoy it, to treasure it, and to make sure everyone around you does too.

Like I said before, If it was up to me I'd stop Eve eating the fruit, the worlds problems wouldn't be so. Now why was that deleted huh? You may not agree with it but nothing has been wrongly said.

Firstly... I don't think anyone on staff would intentionally delete your post knux. I'll have a look in the staff room and see if there's a record of it. I seem to recall your post yesterday, so it may just be a misunderstanding mate

Ok cheers, just seemed abit unfair deleting it as to me at least it is what I would probably do. Maybie it was because it was a 1 liner. Suppose.

I wouldn't worry about it, you've posted your thoughts now and its not going anywhere I have just remembered - I do want to change a weeny bit of history - I wanted to change Charlton's relegation to the championship into a "staying up and winning the FA cup" as I think we deserve a little bit of luck... Failing that could we change our history this afternoon...come on you reds!!!!!!!!

What if the Big 3 never sued Preston Tucker, and he mass-produced one of the most innovative American cars of all time? That's something I spend too much time wondering.

I'd stop TVS from going bankrupt for obvious reasons...
aside from that I would meet The Rev. W. Awdry and David Mitton, stop half of these wars from happening, get rid of political correctness and change a lot of the things I shouldn't have in the past.

I'd have prevented Tony Blair from being elected.
Also, I'd have gone to Moscow on 25th May 2008 and told John Terry, "If Drogba's unavailable for the fifth penalty should it go to a shoot-out, let Kalou take it."

The deep moral answer: (Which I deeply believe)
I wouldn't change a thing. Yes terrible things have happened and are still happening, but that is what makes us stronger, and we learn from these terrible events. Also if we change a bit of history, we might change our entire ancestory, where you and me are not born, and to me that would be horrific. I am a firm believer in the phrase "Those who don't learn from history, are doomed to repeat it."
The Joke answer:
Make sure Kraft didn't take over Cadbury's. Somehow swing it so more series of TUGS were made.

The one thing that i would change... I would change the Victrorian Railway system from Irish broad Gauge to standard Gauge it would make every thing a whole lot eaiser for frieght movements as you wouldn't have to change the frieght from one train to another only for it to travel another 50 km to Gellong! (there's nothing wrong with broad gauge but it would a whole lot easier if Australia had one gauge and not 3 or 4).

Nothing like a good thread dusting! I've long been interested in Esperanto, the proposed international auxiliary language that is very easy to learn. I haven't learned much yet, but I plan to study it some day. I would have loved to see it become the universal second language, a language that every country teaches in addition to their own, so that communication between cultures becomes easier. There's 2 particular points in history that could have served as major boons to the language. First of all, their was a brief proposition in 1915 in China to make Esperanto the official language to facilitate trade with the West. Now, I'm mixed about this idea because would be saddened by China losing their thousands of years old language, as that' a major part of any culture. However, if they had gone through with it, it would mean over 1 billion Esperanto speakers, which would have solidified it as a universal language. So, let's keep that as a moment I wouldn't change, but still think about. Second of all, there was another proposition during the creation of the UN to make English and Esperanto the official languages there. This lost by 1 lousy vote because the French ambassador wanted to make French an official language, which is what happened. I would have absolutely changed this moment- because of 1 selfish man, we could have created an international platform to make Esperanto an accepted language, which would have given Esperanto a much needed boost in public usage. I will never forgive France for what they've done to the language. Okay, maybe that was a bit harsh, I'm okay with France. But I'm right sore!

There's this one thing that I would certainly change...
This one is for all WWE and Undertaker fans, I would change the outcome of the Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak because quite frankly, it shouldn't have been broken or if it did have to be broken, I would have changed the Guy to have done it - to which that would have been the Icon Sting. To me, Sting (the Wrestler) was the one guy who to me should have broken the Undertaker's streak if anybody had to break it because the reaction the fans gave in attendance at Wrestlemania 30 was not what many in WWE were probably expecting (especially when a minority started chanting BS and then the following night on WWE RAW).
Obviously I could change a whole lot of other things if I could, including several things from my own life, but this particular thing is the one thing that I would change because quite frankly it should never have happened (or if it did have to happen which it did, the wrong Guy did it).
