I'll be going to a vocational camp for two weeks, then when I get back I'll be hanging around the house, expecting a visitor in July.
EDIT: The vocational camp was okay. I was called Twitchy by a few people because I have tremors in my hands, but aside from that, I had fun. I even became certified in Customer Service.

Bah, you student types... My summer is going to be pretty much the same as the rest of my year. Although I am planning on finding a new place to live, which is proving intensely difficult at the moment.

Alas, like so many others, my plan for the summer is to do absolutely nothing, but i know something probably will crop up and disturb my peace & quiet, it's not fair!, but here's a list of what my activities are most likely to be. Watching T.V. (Thomas, Charlie Chalk, Button Moon, Thunderbirds & the like) Lounging around (I'm very good at this ) Spending time on-line (Here & eBay mostly) & with a bit of luck, more lounging Sounds good doesn't it, i think I'm being over ambitious to be perfectly honest, but hey you never know, it could happen

This summer is a rather awkward one: I'm restudying for the SAT I'm trying to visit colleges I'm trying to make at least one movie with my friends. And, to top it off, I was supposed to go to Israel on the seventh. However, me and my parents agreed that I have way too much to do this summer, and a trip is out of the question. I just hope I can do all the things I planned to do with the extra 2 weeks.

Well, since summer's just around the corner, I felt like reviving this thread. I plan on trying to look for a new job this summer, possibly using musical skills, and I'll also be going to Orlando to check out the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park.

I'll be celebrating the end of my exams with parties and such for the first few weeks. I'm also going down to Devon for a week to check out some of the railways there. I'll get a job at my local dog kennels doing things like walking dogs to get a bit of dosh. Most of the time though I'll just be hanging, chilling, relaxing and generally being very lazy . Plus I'm buying a Moped as I'll be old enough by then to own one ;D.

Drive through Europe with Girlfriend and mates, planning on visiting both Holland and Germany to sample drinks, drive on the autobahn and chill out. Probably spend more time at work, and get a tad more cash. Need to save up for a few years ahead. Aiming on getting to a SiF meet, anywhere and anytime lads This could be at anytime though And have a good time at all of them.

Sounds like a plan Jack. I'd love to go travelling like that, especially through Europe. Planning on visiting any railways at all?
Anyway my summer plans currently stand as thus:
Go on holiday to Dorset with friends for a lad's week
Find a job
Start submitting samples of my work to publishers
Depending on wheher I've been accepted into university or not, get a girlfriend
Buy a lot more fantasy/science fiction novels
Start living!
All the Best, Tayhan

For me, this summer will consist of the following:
Recieving my results on the 28th June - hopefully, all will go well (if I haven't failed anything).
Secondly, I might see if I can get a part time job whilst I'm home.
Thirdly, for a week at the end of August, my parents and I will be on holiday in Austria, where I enjoyed going last year. Hopefully, this year should be just as good, too.

Well here's my summer for this year, it sounds a bit more active than what last years horrid summer was for me:
Work (now that I have a 6 month job). Hopefully start filming my first Short Film outside of any courses
And that's about it, plus I'll probably see whatever films will be out in the Summer. First will be Iron Man 2, and then hopefully Robin Hood followed by Toy Story 3 (when that of course comes out).

Ah, I remember (back in tha' day when I were young and green) the grand 6 weeks + of holiday time to go anywhere and do anything. Crikey, had some adventures.
Now I'm getting old, with full time work, 6 weeks holidays lasts me the entire year, not just the summer!
To those of you who have the school/college/uni holidays, use it. Enjoy it. Savour it. Go wild and mad with it. 'Cos in a few years time you'll REALLY wish you still had it!
