Anyone else hate this time of year when you get lumbered with exam revision?
I've just completed my final bout of Uni exams for this academic year, and now I'm off till mid-September, when hopefully I'll have transfered to a University much closer to home. Therefore, this lot of exams have been slightly more important to me than previous ones - completion of them with good grades is pivotal to my acceptance into my new Uni.
To be honest, I'm hopeless at revising, I cannot keep still for more than ten minutes and get easily bored/distracted by other things. And so in the end, I probably did lot less groundwork than a lot of other people on the course did, but nonetheless I've got a photographic memory for stuff throughout the year, and thankfully stuff from TWO years ago when I was in college, which happened to crop up too...and so I don't think I've performed better in an exam situation for a long time, particularly when they were set out over three days, one exam following the other the next day. A situation I've never encountered before, but one I wouldn't mind repeating if it has a winning streak like this.
Anyone else going through some exam stress, revision and such? Anyone with good or bad stories to tell about it?

Two GCSE exams coming up for me next week - ICT and RE short courses. It seems like I'm going from one extreme to the other. This week I'm on the Ratty, next week I'm going to be bored stiff in the exam hall waffling on about why some nutters think that we're guardians of God's Earth. What's that got to do with me? I don't think that, so why do I have to be examined on it? Ah well, at least I'm good at waffling.
In June I have three more exams - Modular Maths, Modular Chemistry and Modular Physics. I got an A* in my last Physics Module exam, as I did in my last Maths Module exam... let's hope I can get similar marks this time round!

I'll probably get a lot of things thrown at me for this, but I've already finished my exams two weeks ago. (One of the beneifts about college - you finish about a month before the high-schoolers.) However if anyone was interested, here was my exam schedule.
April 28th - Sociology May 3rd - Spanish May 4th - Mathematics & Personal fitness & wellness

I am in 4th Year at school and at school I am currently doing my exams-isn't that surprising! I have only got 6 subjects (5 in Foundation-General and 1 in Intermediate 1) I've only got two more subjects to do-Drama and Biology I have already done English, Maths, S.V.S and History so far. I get distracted too and not revising as much as I should, although I have remembered bits of what I have done and I have answered all the questions with little difficulty Although in saying that, there's bound to be some hard questions in the exam now!

I'm currently in exam territory. I had one last week which I failed and I'm re-taking sometime in early June, one today which I reckon I passed and one on June 15th. Once I've passed these, my apprenticship is OVER....#SCHOOLS OUT FOR EVER!!!!#

I've already had my English LAnguage exam and I've just completed my art exam, for which I had to stay back in school to complete and had to take a bus because the train was cancelled (where my school is, they only run every 30 minutes). Now I've got to deal with the rest of my GCSEs.

During June I have 4 GCSE Maths exams at college. My first one is on 5th June. So Revision is kind of taking up a bit of my time at the minute.

Good luck, everyone. Exams are a nightmare - I tended to operate using the "cram non-stop for 24 hours the day before" method. I would not recommend this- it's not good practice, and you spend the next day trying not to move your head in case some knowledge falls out.

I am re-sitting my English GCSE this year on the 6th and 8th of June, as I have failed it before (twice!). I've had 64 out of 80 in my coursework, so I should at least stand half a chance of getting a 'C' (it's the highest I can get, as it's a foundation paper.)
Good luck, everyone.

Come Tuesday afternoon I will be FINISHED! Hurrah! Mind you, I've only had three exams, which is nothing compared to some people. And as it's only first year of uni I only have to pass, it doesn't count towards my degree. Didn't stop me stressin' though!

I have an English exam (well, 2, if you count my resit) this afternoon. You won't believe what it was like all the while I was revising for it. Well, at least now I can say what the meaning of 'interrogative' is without having to refer to notes. Here's hoping that all goes well.
