Interests are: My wife to be (she'd kill me if i didn't mention her!) Classic cars (well Beetles, Morris Minors, Robin Reliants and Land Rovers!) Movies as long as they're not cheesy Trains and i love model railways too. I also enjoy reading books about anything that interests me. There are two people who i love listening to music wise, Meat Loaf and Bryan Adams. Have seen them both in concert (ML twice and BA three times) and i never tire of listening to them.

I remember Alex Kidd. It was an in-built game in the Master System, yes? That's the one. Awesome in it's time, and I preferred it to Mario for sure. Plus the music is so annoyingly good

I've got a few main interests besides Thomas...
Hillwalking I do a lot of walking at work and really, there isn't much to see, so when I get time off, I like to take myself away for a bit and just wander through the hills. My uncle has a house about 12 miles outside of Laggan village, right in the middle of the hills, so it means we're up there quite regularly when we've all got time off. I enjoy the peace and quiet, when you're there you can hear your own hair grow and just forget about the troubles you're facing back in the real world!
Comedy Big comedy fan, particularly of Scottish humour, which I can relate to a lot. Billy Connolly is a particular favourite of mine, and someone I admire for his honesty which shines through most in his act. Even though some of what he says is largely a rant, its still relevant to the audience. I enjoy American comedies such as Frasier and Cheers as well. Frasier has to be one of the wittiest and cleverly written pieces in recent years, and Cheers was just a classic that really summed up the 80s and got out when the going was good.
Writing Surprise, surprise, a lot of you already know I think of myself as being quite creative. Right now, one of my main creative outlets is writing the scripts for Sodor Studios redubs. I enjoy the challenge and satisfaction of coming up with something new and exciting to keep the redubs fresh. At the moment, writing is bit more of a hobby than anything I take seriously, which is mainly down to University, work and my social life consuming majority of my time. I have hopes to take it to a higher level at some point, but at the moment, everything in it's place.
I also enjoy driving, which is lucky because it's something I have to do a lot of. With working in Glasgow at the weekend and University through the week in Dundee, it means a lot of travelling. Hopefully if my transfer goes through OK, I won't have to worry about a third year in Dundee and I'll carry on my studies at home.
I find nothing more relaxing than seeing where the road takes me. Drifting along and admiring the scenery, the changes of light in the countryside and listening to music that suits my mood at the time.
Anyway, that's what floats my boat!

I think I'll go through mine in a lot more depth, like Ryan has... CartographyI just love maps - drawing them, viewing them or just imagining them... they're awesome. I've always liked Geography (favourite lesson, predicted an A for GCSE, which I intend to beat) and I also intend to study cartography at university and then perhaps go on to work for the Ordnance Survey or something similar. FellwalkingAfter summitting Haycock and Scafell Pike last July, I am determined to summit Scafell Pike, Broad Crag, Ill Crag and Great End (all part of the Scafell massif) this summer, or perhaps even this Easter, weather permitting. The Lake District National Park's on our doorstep, and the Western side is far superior to the eastern, tourist-filled side, including Windermere. (Plus, that's Lib Dem area. Worthy of the three Ds!) WritingI've always had an active imagination, and I feel writing really lets me chill out and my ideas can run wild on Microsoft Word. I'm not going to be getting rid of my little Cumbrian Engines anytime soon, the wee beauties have so far picked me up an A grade for my Original Writing coursework. Now, how can I fit them in an essay about violence in Romeo and Juliet? The Ravenglass & Eskdale RailwayMy local 15" gauge line (well, I say local, it's 30 minutes away by car!) that I'm going to for work experience in May! Yes, I'm a lucky wee sod. Looks like I can put in five more days guarding... and it's only 18 months until I can do it there by myself (when I turn 16). British ComedyFawlty Towers... the most funniest programme ever! "Is this a piece of your brain?" cracks me up every time... and don't get me started on the Germans episode. Comedy at it's best. Don't mention the war!

Here's my main ones..... Steam RalliesOh....Steam Rallies! The best thing in the Summer! There's nothing more relaxing and to me Magical then going to a Steam Rally. Breathing in the Smoke and getting covered in dust. Be it on the Tender of a Roller or laying on a hill looking down. This and more were the insperation to my Independant Works. Some of you may think me crazy for saying Rallies are magical, but to those I say you either not British, or you prefer Loco's. The fact that Britan is the home of the Traction Engine makes them that more special. As long as the sun is shining, Steam and Smoke is in the air, and an Old Fair Organ is playing in the background, I wouldn't want to be anywere else. (Aslong as I had a caravan ) I have a good set of Friends who own Engines, so I can always get good have a nice chat while i'm there. WritingLike Ryan and Skar, I like to write my dreams down onto Microsoft word, giving them more sense, making them possible to become real. I have a good imagination I feel, I can sometimes come up withy a story it;s just puttin them into words that sometimes gets me! And as Skar said about his, My Steam Engines Forest won't be going anywere to soon! I have big plans for my Engines! WalksWhen summer time comes round, its always grand to take you're Dog for a walk around the Woods and hills. Getting away from you're house, the only problem is running into chavs who plan to ruin it, Luckily this hasn't happened to me as yet, but theres nothing really to see when walking around here, so when I have a good job and can move, I plan to move far into the country, to somehwere like were Last Of The Summer Wine is filmed. Thats about the ones I can put into words.
