My greatest fear is wasps. They're all out to get me, because, whenever I'm around people, the others always get ignored by the wasps, yet I always get chased around by the little blighters. Imagine the scene from the first episode of Winne the Pooh, when he's being chased by the bees, and you'll know what I mean XD

My absolute biggest fear is bees (like Tayhan). My second biggest fear is bugs in general. My third biggest fear is natural disasters. And my fourth biggest fear is being killed (this fear kinda coincides with bees and bugs.)

Hmm... I don't like bees either.
Here are mine: 1.Being completely alone. I have a gf, but I am so used to being somewhere with people around, I just get spooked. 2.Attacks- For example, I take the garbage out and there are some dark woods there. I get spooked and sprint inside.

If anybody has a fear of clowns, no problem! I understand that the film 'It' has triggered this but clowns are really there to make people laugh and I know what it's like to be afraid of them because that's how I was when I was a child but now, I want to be one of them! By the way, there's something I can recommend to cure coulrophobia (fear of clowns): Log onto YouTube and you'll find a professional clown applying his make-up one stage at a time (type in 'Charlie the Magical Clown'). Give it a go!

Calling people that I'm not familiar with on phones. I freak out at the thought of calling Dominos to order a pizza! Thanking God that you can order online!

Moving vehicles. Trains, planes and automobiles, you name it! Trains? In case you haven't noticed, you're on a forum about trains! My fears are heights, many types of bugs, and weather.

Calling people that I'm not familiar with on phones. I freak out at the thought of calling Dominos to order a pizza! Thanking God that you can order online! Oh, I can relate easily to that fear. Whenever the phone rings, I am always afraid to pick it up in fear that it'll be a total stranger, usually one who has the wrong number. This makes me wish that more people would pay closer attention to the numbers they dial on their phones. To add to that, I'm also afraid of being the one who calls because I'm worried that I may accidentally dial the wrong number even when I've paid close enough attention to know for sure that it was the right one. For this reason, I'd normally wait for the answering machine to pick the phone up when it rings.

Tangible fears would include extreme heights and air travel. To elabrate on the latter, the idea of being helplessly stuck in a tin can several thousand feet has never being that appealing me. This only came to the fore when travelling on a plane from the US many years ago. We were flying through a thunderstorm and the lights began flicking on and off. I remember being very shook up by that and it was enough me off for sure although I have flown again since.
Other fears I guess stem from personal insecurties. Things such as regression, overall failure and not being able to make a valuable enough contribution of any sort in whatever I set out to try and do. These are just a few of the things that spring to mind.

My main fears are wasps. Seriously, I hate the little things, especially when you're at a station, on holiday, minding your own business when suddenly, one stings your for no apparent reason other than just feeling like it.
My other fears are of other stinging insects, was well as embarrasment, as well as those huge, evil tempered dogs like Rotweilers.

Oh, let's see...
- I hate most insects that sting. I don't really mind ants and bees, but I absolutely can't stand any of the others. Paper wasps and ichneumon wasps are by far the worst. I also don't like it when I'm within close proximity of normal bugs, like roaches and june bugs and et cetera... especially when they move suddenly towards me!
-Very mild fear of heights. I have no problem inside planes and tall buildings and stuff like that, but if I'm in the open air and either the thing I'm standing on is very small or it has a very low railing, I get kinda unnerved...
-I have a morbid fear of embarrassment. Seriously, it's almost serious enough to call a real phobia. Every time I remember something embarrassing or imagine something like that, I get this horrible burning sensation in my head and try desperately to think about something else, but it never goes away... eearkgh...
-I fear short, sketchy fat guys with sweaty clothes and greasy, matted black hair and squinty eyes and mouths with extremely huge gums and puny baby teeth and horribly creepy expressions and especially when they stare at me and nod slowly and start breathing really loudly...... Umm... a-ahem...

My other fears are of other stinging insects, was well as embarrasment, as well as those huge, evil tempered dogs like Rotweilers. I can agree with you on the subject of bees, wasps and other stinging insects. Rottweilers, on the other hand, aren't all that bad. From what I've heard, aggression from that breed is usually down to a lack of training and/or abuse. The same for any breed of dog, really, if you think about it. My other main fear is rats. They are simply the most disgusting creatures ever to grace this planet. They would make Mrs. Cruelly from 'Tales of the Other Railway' seem harmless. They are dirty, smelly, and venomous creatures. It makes me shudder just to look at one, especially since - on one occasion - we had a rat infestation at my University's accomodation, where they kept the bins. It made me too frightened to dump my rubbish there, at one point. Filthy, disgusting creatures - Ugh! Stuart

I used to be afraid of going to the dentist, probably because of the whirring instruments and odd sensations in my mouth.
I'd also have to agree with Stuart about rats. I'm not at all afraid of mice, but as Stuart said, they're definitely venomous.

okay, my biggest fear of all is......yeah you guessed it, bees/wasps. it doesn't help that i see them everyday on my bike and most of them chase me. it is really irrational of me, but i think it rises from watching james get stung by a bee before when i was little. second biggest fear....big, hairy spiders. they just creep me the heck out on first sight third biggest fear..........public speaking. i just get so incredibly nervous about it because i think i'm gonna embarrass myself strangely i'm afraid of getting seriously electrocuted, even though i've been electrocuted on numerous occasions

I think I've got a fear of learning to drive. Some people might pressure me into learning to drive, but I can't because I'm worried I might wreck the car. Added to that, my eyesight's not the best, either, so I decided not to do that.
