This is the first of two major bands that, to my great surprise, haven't been discussed on SiF yet. This one, however, needs very little introduction. U2 have, since the 1980s, been enlightening audiences far beyond their native Dublin with their incredible guitar tunes and the melodically enrapturing voice of their lead singer Bono. Their music has been splashed throughout the media, even featuring in the Derry To Kerry episode of Great Railway Journeys. In that particular program, Michael Palin described them as "the most successful rock band of our time" - it's not hard to understand the reason. Here's a list of particular songs that enlighten me: Even Better Than The Real Thing (The Derry To Kerry Music & The First I Ever Heard Coming From U2) One The End Of The World Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses Zoo Station Elevation Beautiful Day Stuck In A Moment In A Little While Wild Honey Vertigo That's all I can think of for now. Does anyone else know about, or like, U2? After all, with their success, I'm sure they're a worthy topic here on SiF. Warm Regards As Always, MRHloco

U2 are one the best bands of all time. Their songs are so good and have great deeper meanings to them, and Bono is an amazing lead singer. I just saw their concert last night and it blew my mind how amazing they are. It was one of the best nights of my life! Any thoughts on this great band?
