Having asked a question about this topic, and having taken the advice from Troublesome Truck I decided to start of this topic.
Are there any songs that you listening to, like by any artist, maybe not the whole song but a verse or the chorus in the song that has a relation or reflect your life e.g. Failed Relationship, or where you feel what's the point of life etc.
As I said, it may not have to be the whole song just perhaps a verse or the chorus of a particular song or songs you listen too. You could put a reason why this relates to you, or maybe just mention it if it's something you don't wish to discuss.
Here are some songs that I know have a relation on my life so far from growing up and being in secondary school and perhaps things that have happened:
A Tout Le Monde by Megadeth - the Beginning verse of this song, always has a reflected on how everyone I knew in high school got Girlsfriends and it always makes me feel like I've missed out on all that.
Unforgiven 3 by Metallica - the Second verse in this song, having listened to it many times it has a real reflection on me because of who I am; someone whose shy, afraid and a worrier.
I can probably think a few others, but I let other people have their say.
Note: I hope this makes sense to you guys, and hope it's suitable for a music/life topic to discuss.

With a Little Help From My Friends - Reflects how many great friends I've got, both online and offline. Always Look On the Bright Side of Life - My general outlook on life! The Long and Winding Road - Song I listened to most when Elizabeth and I separated.

There's quite a few songs that reflect my life:
With A Little Help From My Friends - reflecting on how many friends I also have, on the internet and off it.
Search for the Hero Inside Yourself (by M People) - a song filled with determination, which sums my life up.
Together Forever (from Pokemon) - a song reflecting the spirit of the forum in general.
Liverpool 8 - a nostalgic sort of song, which makes me think of my college days.
Grease Is The World - reminds me, once again, of how the college spirit used to be before we all split up and went our seperate ways.

Hmm, how have I not seen this thread before?
Bigger Than My Body by John Mayer- this song used to inspire me like no other. I could always relate to the general theme of it, being bigger than you are physically, having more to you than people first realize. It used to inspire me to go out and do things to the extent where I felt like I was going to explode with all the inspiration. It still does inspire me, but not as much anymore, sadly.
Over My Head by the Fray- pretty much sums up how I feel sometimes... like there's too much in the world that I can't do, and I get buried under it all. This one helps me deal when I'm stressed.
Yellow by Coldplay- I love this song, and the whole unconditional love thing it expresses.
Always Look On the Bright Side of Life (think we all know where this comes from)- I usually keep this outlook on life, and the song always makes me smile and brings me back to earth when I'm upset.
I also have a lot of songs that relate not to me, but to characters in the story I'm writing. They're a part of me, I guess, but they don't relate to me directly. It's weird.

For me, there are several different songs, that really discribe my life. The first song is " Waiting All My Life" performed by " Rascal Flatts", because I'm still waiting to find the one girl, I could fall in love with. The second is " Because of You" performed by " Kelly Clarkson", for all the relationships that never lasted. " If Everyone Cared" by " Nickelback", I believe in that people can caring if they try, so that's what I do. And lastly, " Bon Jovi" with " It's My Life", yep...that one song, pretty much talks about the way I live my life.

I thought of Two more songs that reflect my life:
Of Mice and Men by Megadeth: The first verse of the song about being Seventeen, that was totally me completely because when I was 17 I was studying ICT and wanted to get into media and thought I could get in easily but realized when I was 18 I couldn't but this song always reminds me of my flashback. Part of being 21 at the minute also has part on my life, in some way but not all of it.
Gotta Be Somebody by Nickelback: This one, we all go through this one. I've been going through for years, having watched my friends in high school start early relationships and I never did and it has always made me feel left out. But I know, the Girl for me is out there somewhere and I will find her. But this song really reflects that, plus there's a Girl I like in College well actually Two Girls I like in college.

Forever by Papa Roach: Explains exactly how I was feeling when I broke up with my first girlfriend. Just really powerful for me, full of emotion. Still can't decide if it makes me happy or sad, but it's definitely doing something.
Sweet Child O Mine by Guns N Roses: When I hear that guitar solo, I get the same feeling that I get when I watch the end of All at Sea. Also kinda ties into the fact that I sometimes feel like I'm growing up too fast.
Et Al by Hurt: I find this to be a good song to listen to if I'm feeling sad or depressed about anything. Lyrically, the song seems to be about a relationship that didn't work out, but I just find the overall tone of the song to be somewhat strengthening and really powerful.
Blurry by Puddle of Mudd: Shows that even the good things in life are not always permanant, and possibly the need for someone to help you get through that.
Christie Road by Green Day: This one's all about interpretation, but it seems like this is exactly how I feel when I'm down at the station watching trains go by.

I'll Be There by Megadeth: Having listened to this song, the first 3 verses of the song are how I feel at the minute with my Love crisis (which I mentioned in the Advice Thread), although the song itself has nothing to do with my situation but there's something about this song that relates to my current situation.

(Sittin On) The Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding: Reflects my generally laid-back attitude towards life.
Flying Without Wings by Westlife: Reflects all the joy that I've been able to bring into other people's lives.

For me, it's St Elmo's Fire by John Parr. One of the first lines, 'You know in some way, you're a lot like me. You're just a prisoner, and you're trying to break free!', really speaks to me. Plus, in all honesty, the song just rocks XD
(note, you will need to turn this up, for some reason this video is very quiet)

I spent a few days listening to more Megadeth songs, I found two more that reflect my life in someway also.
I Thought I Knew It All: The second verse of this song really reflects me, how often things never go my way and how I wonder whether it's not my turn.
Time: The Beginning: Best partly this song just reflects me with Time, and how I feel it's passing me by when I haven't achieved anything in someway. I often feel how much time I've wasted when I could have done other things.
