Damn, You beat me to it! What can I say? Grand Theft Auto has to be one of my favourite gaming franchises. The detail that goes into each game is incredible. But I mainly like GTA for it's city environments, as they're so dymanic and full of activity. Many times have I tried to recreate some of these cities in SimCity, failing spectularly. In terms of personal favourite, I'd have to say GTA2, as it has a great triple-city environment (as in three parts to one city) and the soundtrack is friggin' awesome! That's another thing I love about the GTA series. Regarding GTA4, I'm dissappointed that it's release was held back, AGAIN! They did with the PS3 and 360 versions, it becoming a bit of a habit, a bad habit. One more thing; in your poll, I can see that you omitted one game, Mission Pack#1, London 1969, holding the distinction of having the only 'real' city, the only one where you drive on the left , and the only one outside of America.

For some reason, I always get too distracted with beating up random bystanders and stealing cars to successfully play through the story in these games. It's just so damn entertaining!

I'm a big fan of the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise. I remember playing the very first game in 2000. I had a lot of fun with it, and I had even more fun with "Vice City" in 2002. My favorite thing about San Andreas was being able to drive the trains!

My favorite thing about San Andreas was being able to drive the trains! And making them derail too I assume

I found GTA IV extremely well done. So well placed within the GTA universe and the missions and achievements are so expansive. (Not to mention BULLY star Jimmy Hopkins makes a cameo.)
My fav is probably 2 or 4, there both fun.
